NOTE: I have Win7 Ultimate

So what happened I tried to connect my iPad to my laptop but it wouldn't detect it. It would not show up in iTunes, it wouldn't charge, or anything else.

I wanted to see if it was my iPad or my laptop, so I got my phone (i) and plugged. It loads, but it wouldn't show in iTunes. I tried to update my drivers but that didn't work, I tried to go to "Devices and printers" and troubleshoot it but I just get an error message saying "a problem is preventing the troubleshooting tool to start.

So if my guess is it has something to do with my laptop because the devices have been recognized?

On the question of the resolution of the problems, try to update your AntiVirus package and run a full scan and then run a sfc/scannow to see if either scan detects and fixes all of the problems.

  • Support troubleshooting problem to display PC laptop HP G42-415DX

    Hello, I have a HP G42 - 415DX Notebook PC with Windows 7 64 bit.

    I have no display of the image on the screen and need help to understand where the problem lies.

    I updated the Bios and installed all corresponding updates.

    I reinstalled the graphics driver on the HP drivers section.

    I showed a flashlight on the screen to see if it was just the light back, but there is still no image, the scrfeen looks like it's turned off.

    I have the VGA output is plugged in and it works fine. I hit F4 and is currently on the computer only, even if the image of the screen is just all the external screen.

    Is there a troubleshooting method to see if it's something on the motherboard as the graphics card or the monitor itself without buying it? Or am I just a bit stuck guessing and hoping that it works?

    The external screen works with Windows, which means that the video card and motherboard are very good. The laptop screen has disappeared, the backlight (s), the controller or the cable is defective. A part or the combination can cause a black screen.

     

    Because you can't see anything with the light from the flash on the screen, the cable has failed or the screen itself needs to be replaced.

     

    If you put a new screen and it still does not work then replace the inverter and if you still get nothing, the cable is the last thing that this will cause.

     

    Sorry, sometimes the only way to diagnose a problem's substitution, but before you go out and buy new parts, I always suggest that you take it to a reliable repair shop to get a second opinion.

    • But today, I have another user not Vodafone (with a different proxy), who is having issues.

    In response to some of your questions:

    (1) I'm not aware of Vodafone, blocking of the XML data.  I have not tried the encrypted data.

    (2) "Vodafone UK explicitly require APN, username and password must be specified.  It's a hard thing, I think that in some cases unless you specify a null connection id, your direct TCP request will be always sent via WAP.  SO I think the short answer, you must specify all of these if you can.  and an id of null connection, otherwise you can use WAP.  Can identify you from the server if a user has come via WAP or direct TCP gateways?

    One last thing.  In one Thread, I mentioned a process through which I could 'connect' on the WAP portal and disable page Navarro compression.  Two points

    Have your users tried to use the WAP browser.  If so, you might be able to take through these pages and disable this option

    (b) if they have never used before WAP portal, the portal can be appear them a "first user" page, they must respond to before they move forward.  Accordingly, any http request will get a 200, but the data will not response from your server, but rather something the gateway of Vodafone.  You must empty the answer under the network diagnostic to determine if this is indeed what happens.  But you might be able to get on it by asking your users to use Wap browser

    Vodafone WAP browser is called Vodafone Live.  Click the icon.

    I saw not a device with an option switch for the card reader, but I didn't know of every unit ever made.

    What is the product number?

    Do you know where it has been disabled?  Coincidentally, it has been disabled in Device Manager?

    The card reader should be listed under the following image-based disk drives.  You can try to uninstall/reinstall the card reader (s) of the device, as Manager indicated to half way down in this document.  The document is for Vista, but the steps are similar for Windows 7.

    In Device Manager, a disabled device will have an arrow icon down on it.  If it does not indicate that it is disabled, right click on it and selecting activate should allow it.

  • Troubleshooting problems of electronic mail to the dynamic online PDF form

    I created a dynamic PDF using LiveCycle Designer ES.  At the end there is a button send and the end user should be able to click the button and it automatically emails the form to us.  We have received complaints that people have tried to send the form to us, but we have not received anything.

    I tested it and we had no problems here.  We have received the form of others outside of our agency.

    Any suggestions?

    Was about to add this if at the end of the last post:

    • The email button is set to return a PDF file; and
    • The shape is not enabled, reader

    then users with reader will not be able to send the form by e-mail. This is because submission by e-mail requires Acrobat/Reader to save the shape first. Users with reader cannot save the form, if it is not enabled drive, then the script fails silently. The user clicks on the button, but nothing happens (no warning).

    So if you form is active player then this is not the issue. But if the form is not active player users with reader will be hurt.

  • iTunes late development and scale of problem

    I recently downloaded iTunes a few days ago. The program runs very slowly and in the iTunes store my cursor is not properly calibrated. The screen itself is also cut makes it difficult to navigate the store, especially combined with the slow performance.

    I tried to reinstall and other attempts to solve without success. I have a decent laptop, so this isn't a problem.

    Anyone else knows this or know of a fix? Thank you!

    These errors are usually the result of the use of the Windows options for expanded fonts with which iTunes does not work with or scaling the DPI. Try to set these default/100% and see if the problem with iTunes disappear. It will not help if you need to use these features for best results in other software, but at least she will confirm here the rub.

    As for the late development, it can help to make a complete tear down and rebuild, as described in the second box of troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates. Excluding the iTunes folder of any AV real-time, tests can also help.

  • Problem installing iTunes on Windows 10

    I get an error message on the installation in the installation of iTunes to Apple Application Support. Specifically, the text reads:

    In addition once iTunes is installed and I try to open it it wont let me.

    The message "an error occurred during the installation of assembly ' Microsoft.VC80.CRT, type ="win32", version ="8.0.50727.6195", publicKeyToken ="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b", processorArchitecture is...» "may occur because a particular library file is not included in the supplied with iTunes distribution package or will not be installed because some unspecified reason. Install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC security update before you attempt to reinstall iTunes can help.

    When to reinstall iTunes, right-click on the Setup and run as administrator.

  • problem updating itunes

    I update itunes to 14.2.2 and after downloading the file, I get a message that says "the installer has insufficient privileges to edit this file C:\program\files\itunes\itunes.resources\ca.lproj\DevicePrefsGeneralAppleTVStre aming.itxib.

    I tried to change the access privileges for this file, gel itunes and reinstall, etc., but it does not work.

    any help would be appreciated. I am running windows 10

    General advice for troubleshooting when iTunes is unable to properly install (and reinstall or repair it does not) are to remove not only iTunes, but ALL the components, restart, remove the target installation files and reinstall.  See the excellent iTunes to turingtest2 Windows Troubleshooting Guide at:

    When I click on the application of itunes6464.exe, my pc does not work, it gives an error message:

    I tried to install it on my old pc windows 7, it shows me the same error message.

    I made sure to download the 64-bit version

  • Is that what someone else with crash with update of iTunes 12.3.3 problems?

    We manage systems Windows 7 on my place of work and everyone that I talked to in the last few days had crashing problems with iTunes immediately after updating 12.3.3. iTunes is suddenly very slow to open, we get sporadic crashes whenever you do anything - pause a song, start a song, reduce the iTunes window, blow it up, no matter what. Try to access the store for what either the causes and instant crash whenever there is no way to get the new whatever it is, even if you have it on your pc at home and just want to download to work. One of the users has completely lost the use of iTunes altogether - it does not open on his laptop at all.
