Troubleshooting RAM to HP Pav PU131AV errors

Problem:

1. restart computer. Error reporting window Microsoft said that there is a possible error of RAM and said run the Windows memory Diag tool.

2. I ran the test on Windows memory Diag tool, and there are 3 test case has failed. (I can give the results if necessary)

3. the notes Windows Memory Diag says that if all the tests came back failed, then 'your computer failing hardware.'

4. the results were not able to determine exactly which module failed.  The doc offers everything first, reinstall the memory modules and remove the dust or debris.

5. I also checked the PC via the HP PC doctor and passed all the tests I ran.  The tests I ran were:

-all tests under categories of device / system

-all tests under Scripts of Test / Test System

-all tests in test / tests of motherboard

Issues related to the:

1 should I continue troubleshooting potential problem of RAM, even if the PC Doctor showed all the tests?  Or is it enough that the Windows memory Diag tool showed 3 test cases that failed?

2. If I continue to solve the problems of potentional RAM, I want to clean the inside of the computer and reinstall the RAM modules, and then run the Diag tool again pass memory of Windows to see if all the tests are back.  I found 2 docs that will direct me to the RAM modules and reinstalling them, but I still would like better know how to clean the inside of the office.  Can someone direct me to a doc who showed me how to clean dust and debris from the inside of a desktop computer, specifically the HP Pavilion PU131AV?

Thanks in advance,

Angela

old computer: HP Pavilion PU131AV / a1050y, Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Windows XP MCE, SP3 32-bit, Nvidia GeForce 6600
new computer: HPE-180 t, Windows 7 Pro (64 bit), Nvidia GeForce GT 220, Intel Core i7 - 930 quad-core CPU @ 2.80 GHz, 8 GB of RAM

Relocation of the ram is no big deal, get him out to wipe the contacts with a soft cloth, put it back in.

Cleaning the inside... buy a can of air compressed, all you want to do is blow off the dust on the fans and turn off the heater.

Do not use any liquid inside the computer, just air. Do not wipe the inside with everything he can catch something and break one of the contacts.

Follow the instructions on the air... never never flip can do it because it would cause the liquid in the box to squirt out.

    Hello

    You can view these methods:

Method 1: As a first step, check to see if the hard disk becomes detected or listed in the Basic Input/Output system (BIOS). Also, be sure to change the boot order in the CMOS settings so that thehard drive is the first on the list.

Note: To learn how, see the documentation provided with your computer or contact the manufacturer of your computer.

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from configuration can resolved BIOS/CMOS settings. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

Method 2: If the manufacturer has installed the Recovery Console on your computer, perform the check disk to fix this.

At the recovery console command line, type:

    Chkdsk /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

Note: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

  • BIOME-1 error when you run the diagnostic material for RAM test

In recent months I've known several blue screen errors during startup. Initailly, initially, I thought that maybe it's a hardware error, but after running Diagnostics of material (press F9 to start) and have all the tests passed so I assumed it was a software problem, I focused my attention on that. However, today, I started to run hardware diagnostics and I discovered that I had a RAM issue with the BIOME-1 error code. Is it possible that the hardware diagnostics can not full capture errors and that a RAM issue was first the cause of blue screen errors?

I called HP support and they sent an engineer to the bottom. After you open the computer case, the cause of the problem has been established as a RAM module that was not properly secured. After getting the RAM module, the blue screen errors did not reappear again. The engineer also ran some tests and confirmed that everything was fine.

  • Critical system errors to driverframeworks

to interperate error codes so I can understand how to solve the problems. I have 2 critical system for driverframeworks-usermode errors 3 times in the last week

I have a base system device that is not configured correctly. I tried to get windows repair, check online for a fix or give a solution to the problem. He had none. I uninstalled the driver for the device and it says now it's ACPI Dev 4 2 function, and that it is not configured correctly. I tried on 3-4 scanners of driver in addition to MS automated troubleshooting services who had a runtime error and deny access. I am at a loss on how to correct this problem. So, I started to investigate the newspapers, but I need help.

    Hi Debra,

Thanks for the tip. I usually run maintenance to clean and defragment my fairly regular drive, but I ran the service ms anyway. I had activated the option for the service detect and automatically fix problems, but instead, he presented a report and said "not run" next to each, so I ran the manually. History and shortcuts have been made recently and reading 0 MB. He said that the time is out of synchronization, so that I have it sync with time.windows.com. It is only a few minutes, so I don't know how critical that would be. I ran the scan of disk volume and it passed. Disk space is 25,915 GB used 55,883 Go, the version of windows 6.0, x 86, 12/04/2010, system maintenance pkg to. Microsoft Corporation 2.0, 1.25 GB of RAM, 32-bit sys, the 1578MB paging file, together for better performance of the program. One thing that I put that crawl on the system was the DEP. I put for all files, so it's fairly intensive. I tell myself after that just if long, no problem I'll put it in default. I think that perhaps when windows was loaded originally this time, the file was never loaded. It seems I have a sector damaged in my cd/dvd drive, which could have caused that. But I am still confused, because you would think that I would have been able to find a repair or replacement it somehow, and I tried many things with no results. The problem is not resolved, but it is tolerable at this point, because if it was a dramatic problem I wouldn't still be in business, and I'm here. I will continue to study at the best of my ability, however, to all purposes useful I will mark it as a response until these times he deserves more attention, or if what I will meet a solution. Date to which I will come back and tell you what I found. Thank you for your patience and answers.

  • Error: "Windows could not complete the format" when you try to write to blank DVDs

I get this error when you try to copy files to a blank DVD.  I am trying to drag and drop files into the dvd player and after a small roar, the dvd ram drive stops and the error message.  Then the drive no longer recognizes blank dvd inside.  I am running Vista 32 bit and my dvd ram is a matshita dvd - ram uj880as ata.  I tried to switch to the microsoft 'FixIt' site, but the problem is not resolved.  I think that the report mentioned that the reader could recognize not writable or something to that extent.  The player can play DVDs fine, however.  Is there a solution to this problem by replacing the dvd ram drive?

    Hello

Have you tried to close all programs and then insert the disc to see what is happening? Try a slower
speed or mastered format. Have you added any burning new software lately - these tend to compete
for resources and can interfere with each other.

Should which CD or DVD format I use?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/which-CD-or-DVD-format-should-I-use

    ====================================

You have disk problem as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (burn CD & DVD and CD and DVD read).
Therefore, it is not unusual for 1 or 2 rooms with not so work that others do it properly.

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

CD have a tolerance + - and you can write on the outside edge.

    Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click

This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or

  • Keep getting a memory could not be written error with Acrobat Pro XI

    Hello

Below is the error I keep seeing on my windows 7 Adobe Acrobat Pro XI enforcement machine. It happens with any PDF that I opened and when it pops up it force closes xi pro adobe acrobat and does not allow me to save all data before it happens. In general, it gives me 20 seconds before it closes so if I am fast enough I could save it, but it does every 5 minutes or more.

    memory error.png

    Things I've tried...

1 tried to use the cleaning of adobe tool to uninstall acrobat adobe pro xi completely from the computer, rebooted, reinstalled (same error at the same place)

    2. tried using forefront endpoint protection for not full system scan (what we use in our company) - no viruses (same error at the same place)

3 tried to delete the user profile that has the question on our machine of the company, the addition of a new blank profile with acrobat (same error at the same place)

    4. I tried to reinstall windows (wipe everything) and reinstall acrobat (same error at the same place)

5 tried to run memtest for my RAM and RAM integrated test tool, no error on RAM (same error even location)

    6. replace the RAM and motherboard in case there was a problem of memory onboard (same error even location)

    7. now, I gave the user a ready computer, same configuration and it works fine. No other program gives this error, but Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and now I have a second user with a new laptop Dell get this error at the same place.

We have a lot of users on the site using Acrobat if it was only 2 of a possible 3 k users having this same exact error, so don't know why it does on 2 completely different computer types. Any suggestions would be most useful at that time I tried registry fixes, changes to "memory could not be read error" but that does not help that I found on this forum.

  • 4SNS/1/40000000 error code: VDOR - 18.678 & 18.679

MBP early 2011: I just ran the AHT twice, the first round gave me an error code of 4SNS/1/40000000: VDOR - 18.678, second inning gave the code 4SNS/1/40000000: VDOR - 18.679. Does anyone know what are these error codes? My best guess is probably the RAM, I have (2) modules of 8 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3 OR wireless networking equipment installed. I've noticed recently while multitasking, the wifi connection seems to cling and web pages will not load/downloads will pick up. But the way in which applications will be blocked for 60 seconds makes me think of a bad situation of RAM I have had in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated since the nearest bar genius lies in 2 1/2 hour. Thank you!

  • iTunes error - 54

I am on iPhone 6s 9.3.1 and iTunes IOS 12.4

I am trying to copy some albums that have been recently on my iPhone (withdrew when I synced my iPhone) but when I drag the album to my iPhone, I have an error message - 54 and the music does not appear in the music app.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello CaelinS,

I understand that you get and error when synchronizing content in iTunes on your iPhone. Let's go over some operations of troubleshooting flattens.

Because you do not get the content, I would like to begin by consolidating the media files in iTunes. This would make so iTunes knows where all your files are and remain organized. You can also check for any third-party software that could conflict with the synchronization. Also, it's a good idea to synchronize a small amount of content to isolate a specific file is the question. Take a look at the article below for additional details and troubleshooting.

  • Satellite L50 - B - 1DV Win8.1 - Windows Update error 0 x 80070057

    Hello

Toshilba Satellite L50-B-1DV my son has not run successfully a Windows Update since last October - I only discovered this yesterday.

When I had a look at the updates and pretty nearly any type of troubleshooting, I try, fails with the error message "0 x 80070057. I have rooted online but can not see any patches, obvious.

We would prefer to solve ourselves, but that machine is that six months our next step is to take it back to John Lewis for repair - which would be a shame because he uses his laptop everyday.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    Mark

    Hello

You mentioned the error 0 x 80070057 during installation of the update.
This error occur due to several reasons and that's why it s not easy to say why this happens exactly. But the most common cause can be the missconfigured or damaged registry system reserved partition.

    My recommendation for the workaround:
Try to repair the system and the registry using CCLeaner. You can use this freeware software for cleaning the registry and to remove the garabage system.

If this is not enough, try to repair the operating system using the own options of the system.
The "automatic repair" option tries automatically to diagnose and resolve problems that may cause Windows 8 not at the beginning or have different behavior of evil.
Auto repair starts automatically when Windows cannot start properly. If it finds problems, it will automatically try to fix it, but it can also be started manually.

Access to the auto repair located on Windows 8 start screen. Now "Advanced" in the search box. When the search results display, click on the category of "settings".

Now, click on the "advanced boot options" option and you will see the screen "General PC settings. Look for the option "Advanced startup". Click the restart and Windows 8 will restart your computer to directly access the advanced boot menu.

Click the "Troubleshooting", then on the button 'Advanced Options '. Click on the option "automatic repair". Your computer will now reboot and Windows is preparing the auto repair. When it's done, you log on to an administrator account.

Click on the "Continue" button to continue the auto repair. Automatic repair will now start and attempt to diagnose the problem with your computer.

During the process of auto repair, your computer may restart. It is a normal behavior. Once completed the automatic repair process, he will let know you if she has been able to repair anything. If this isn't the case, you will see a prompt asking you if you want to stop or use other tools.

If your computer is still unable to start, you need to click on the 'Advanced Options' button, then select "Troubleshooting" and finally "Advanced Options." For an auto repair failed, please try the built-in windows 'System restore' using the recovery media or the option "Reset".
