• Can't reformat Satellite A100

  I had trouble trying to reformat my laptop series Satellite A100 which is / was under Vista.

  The problem is once I put the recovery DVDs in. I select from the start menu and it enters the screen "Windows loading files" as it should. However, a little bit after that it starts to load the Setup interface (just after that the mouse will appear), the laptop resets and me not to continue with the installation. Can I install windows xp from there and then go down all of the toshiba utilities download site and install them? Or does install the drivers to display with the recovery cd or I see nothing and I will stuff my pc up to? Lol usually whenever I have try sumfin to help my pc I usually have the wreck it. So I've always guaranteed, so I might even go back to there. But I would appreciate if you guys can help.

  Honestly, your ad is so complicated and confusing for me I will just try to explain how you can install OS on your Satellite A100.

  If you want to install the operating system, you can do on two tracks:

  I know this procedure only works with some Australian portable Toshiba and only if the laptop was equipped with the recovery of HARD drive partition.
  I m not sure if your A100 has such a HARD drive partition, but I think this should be mentioned in your user manual.

  If the laptop does not contain this partition of HARD drive, then you will need to use a Setup disk to install the OS on the HARD drive.

  Hi all I'm new here and even though I think I know a little about PC I seem to forget that I have learned.

  I have a lappy Satellite A100, which was connected to a home network wireless and worked very well. After travel further using another wireless USB device, I would return home put on wireless and connection obtained immediately.

  On a recent trip to Bali, I discovered that there are free hot spots wireless everywhere, however I had problems with the connection on trying to connect and could hang, past my expertise so went to a guy who has tinkered with Lappy I wss then you connect wherever I went, great, until the return to the House.

  Put on wireless and cannot connect, I tried everything and had to resort to a cable connection.

  I noticed when you use Toshiba cordless tool it is to see the connection to the router, but stops to Lappy with!
