You normally have the bar displayed at the bottom of the window module? You can use Ctrl + / to put it on and outside, or right click on an empty area of the tab bar and choose it from the pop-up menu.
To change settings of the extensions, you should be able to use this tab to get to the Options button:
Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

Got a new computer, Photoshop disabled on the former, then downloaded and activated without any problems on the new computer. He checked automatically updates available, and when he finished treatment through them, he said that everything has failed. He suggested the problem setting in the list, but there is no error code and no problems listed. I am at a loss... Have tried both a download and it does not help. Of course this doesn't seem to be a recurring problem with many versions of Photoshop, but I can't seem to find a viable solution to my problem.
Usually updates fail on the CS3 to CS5 series because of an outdated Adobe Application Manager.
