Try to install LV DURATION 8.0 twice when I launch an executable LV 2010

Hello again,

I'm running into a problem where I have run an executable LabVIEW 2010 and before it starts I get a dialogue box that says it's installing the duration of LabVIEW 8.0.  If I let it continue, it later decided that I need the Setup disk for this performance, which I did not.  If I hit Cancel, it tries again (exact same dialog box).  If I cancel, then my executable starts as usual and works very well.

Recently, I uninstalled NI-VISA to solve another problem, that forced me to also uninstall some other LabVIEW components (such as the RealTime module).  I then reinstalled NI-VISA and then reinstalled my LabVIEW Developer immediately to recover uninstalled components.

I'm guessing that something in that uninstalling and reinstalling confused LabVIEW to cause this problem.  The particularly troublesome part is that I feel this kind of thing happened to me in the past, but I don't remember the solution.  I searched my messages, forum and knowledge base and found no mention of this type of problem at all.  I guess that means that my words were not accurate rather than sense, it is the first time this came to anyone, ever.

If anyone has any suggestions for this stop happening, I would be grateful for the help.

Thank you!

-Joe

You can also check if there is an old facility of the printer in Control Panel, printers, right click and delete it. Install the printer using the Add Printer Wizard. • 80070057 error code when you try to install Service Pack 1

I try to install Vista Service Pack 1 and when I try to install it either online or manually by downloading the entire 400 + M file, it will start and show 10 minutes later the installation failed with code 80070057 error and.  I can't find this code on a Microsoft Web site reference.  Any idea what's going on?

    Thank you

A long shot, but try it (even if it's for Windows Server 2008). Stop mentioned serivce and run Service Pack 1 Setup.

  • When you try to install Windows XP SP3, I get an error that I need to have service pack 1 installed first.

    Upgrate XP problems

    Hello

I have an older version of XP (2002) and I just reinstalled after formatting my drive. I have problems to update to sp3. I get the error: at a minimum, you must have installed SP1. If I try to install sp1a hang it up because there is no response from the server. Can you help me please?

If you have JUST done a clean install, read on. (Otherwise after return, especially if you have already installed anti-virus software.)

    SP1a is totally useless.

You can use this upgrade path:
Gold XP to XP SP2 to XP SP3.
    Here are the detailed instructions:

    1. download the installation of SP2, SP3 and IE8 files. I prefer to keep these on a USB key, but this is optional. Here are the links to all the installation of three files:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=28 (for SP2)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?ID=24 (for SP3)

    http://www.Microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&ID=43 (for IE8)

And if you wish, download the Setup file of a good anti-virus program. I recommend Avira free Antivirus:

    http://www.Avira.com/en/Avira-free-antivirus

Other good antivirus programs include Avast and MSE (both free):

    http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials

    2. disconnect Internet.

    3. temporarily disable the automatic updates.

    4. install SP2. Restart TWICE.

5 install the SP3. Restart TWICE.

6 switch to IE8. Restart TWICE.

    7 install an Antivirus software.

(What happens very often is that someone has their software antivirus running as they try to install SP3, which often translates into chaos! "This is why it must be done after installing SP3 and IE).

8 make sure that firewall Windows is activated (it should be).

(Now you can physically reconnect to the Internet.)

9 visit Windows Update to download and install only the critical security updates.

10 re - enable automatic updates.

    Hi Guan,

    1. what program are you trying to install?

    2. how you try to install the program?

    Method 1:

If you have any program of present old version installed on the system, then you can try to uninstall the same and check.

    Uninstall a program

    Method 2:

You can also perform a clean boot and see if you can install the program.

A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

You can read the following article to put the computer in a clean boot:

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

After the troubleshooting steps, you can refer to step 7 in the article mentioned above to put the computer to normal startup mode.

  • Error message when you try to install Firefox

I always use Firefox as my browser but was having some problems with it being slow. When I checked the box "about firefox", he said that it was up to date, but when I checked the plugins page, it said it was expired. No matter what I did, it wouldn't install.

I finally uninstalled Firefox to try from scratch, and I continue to get this error whenever I try to install.

Specific advice Apple seem to be uninstall QuickTime, it should no longer be necessary and has a few potential security vulnerabilities. See Uninstall QuickTime 7 for Windows - Apple Support.
