  For some reason when my computer Vista automatically updated, the taskbar, and windows from the Vista Classic theme. I went to themes to restore it, but when I chose the Vista theme, it changed my desktop wallpaper for the original Vista wallpaper and my taskbar remained in the standard view. I also went in for windows color scheme options, but when I clicked on the Vista system, the preview was a black screen and when I clicked on apply it remained in the classic theme. I tried to go to Services and restart of the themes, but has nothing. Anyway I can fix this?

  Do you mean "activate"? Registration is optional; Activation is not. You don't have not given us enough information to targeted assistance. What type of XP installation disc are you using? What product key you installed with (please do not post!)? What happened when you talked to the man during telephone activation?   Oddities of the operating system, I think. Having the bar spots on the side at least gives you a chance to save a program window. I run the taskbar double wide at the top, and some programs insist on opening umderneath it. I have to resize the task bar if I want to be able to move the window anywhare. Also happens in Win 7...

  It seems that you receive the message you want to software conflicts. I suggest you try to disable either the Avira antivirus and windows defender and then check if the problem resolves.

   

  If you disable any security software for troubleshooting temporarily, so don't forget to activate after troubleshooting is completed that your computer will be at risk.

  I really hope you can help me with a problem I have on a single workstation at my office.  It is an accumulation of 32-bit Windows 7 running MS Office 2010 Standard.  It differs from other generations in our office because it is used by the head of the team of our accounts, and so it has a number of custom pieces of software that she only needs access (payroll software, etc.).

  On auggy recommendation, I've set up a registry key insert that returns the explorer.exe hangs in a dump file, and I am trying to load two reports on SkyDrive - I'll post the URL in this thread as soon as I finished it.

  auggi, when I got back on my colleague's PC, I thought I would test to see if the feature didn't always before considering saving data dumps etc, and it worked fine!

  I left it overnight with instructions for the lady who uses the PC to test this morning and see if it's all workers, and it is still, it seems that the fix does not immediately solve the problem of browser, but there later - maybe after a second reboot or something... very strange!

  In all case, this matter can now be considered closed, so all that remains for me to say thank you very much for your help, you are amazing :)

  -> Output file, or by clicking on the red X in the upper right, should work.

  CTRL-Q should work unless there is a Windows keyboard command that replaces it.
