Try to reinstall the XP drive after upgrade and previous no Windows CD

I installed an upgrade to Windows XP on a Windows 95 several years ago.  The PC had a factory in 95 and I don't have version (past) the CD of Windows 95 to use now.  Initially, he finds the 95 disk installation and worked well.  Now I have wiped the disc to the virus and have to how to install upgrade XP CD because obviously there is no version on the disc and I have no CD of the previous version to ask because it's check.  I'm stuck with a legal copy that has already been installed on the same computer, but no case now install again on the same computer.  Ideas?

You must borrow a CD of installation of an earlier operating system - Win95, Win98, ME - to a friend or purchase a full retail version of XP. There is no other way around it. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • Windows 7 try to reinstall the printer driver

I have 2 Configuration of desktop computers to share the Hp Deskjet F4480 all in one. The printer is connected to a desktop computer running Windows Vista. The other desktop computer running Windows 7, this is the one with the issue. Whenever I have restart it or restart it, a windows pops up saying windows Installer configuration, I clicked on cancel and the same message came up saying that could not find f4400.msi or no access to the network drive.  I looked in msconfig under Startup and couldn't find something that is related to the installer.

Interesting, looks like there is a loop that keeps past fires. I would recommend first of all that we do a clean uninstall / reinstall of the printer.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it. Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

The START menu type "%temp%" and press on ENTER. Here, I want you to press Ctrl+A and press on REMOVE. Some files you cannot delete them, ignore these files and delete the majority that allows it to.

Follow this link to download full feature software and drivers of the printer:

  • How to replace the audio driver by default and applet on Windows Vista Home Premium Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop computer?

I had sound problems and got a pop up saying audio applet did not work, I chkd the sound test in Control Panel and drivers in Device Manager it says all drivers have been updated and had a MS Mr. Fixit scan and everything said it was OK. Also I went to chat with and MS engineer who just told me to do the things that I had already done so who did not help either.  Then, I lost all sound and when I went and chkd Manager of devices, he said that the sound driver was not installed, I went to Dell to have a driver update installed thinking to recognize the missing driver and install it but that didn't work. I can't find something at Dell who tells me how to install the drivers by default/applets. I got chk Dell for updates of pilot and analysis says that it does not work on something more old then XP but my OS is a Vista Home Premium so I don't understand that, I ran an another Mr. Fixit scan but it showed no problems. I suspect it is the applet which has stopped working and it gives a wrong signal that it is the driver that does not work when it is the applet which poses problem. Is there a scan which analyzes all aspects of the audio system and will repair or replace or at least give me a list of things that need to be replaced or updated? Any help would be appreciated I tried to solve this problem for the past two months and I really want to fix this now if possible.

    Hello

Create a new user account and check if the problem persists, if the problem does not persist in the new user account, then you can fix the damaged user account.

  • Yellow! for VMware network driver after upgrade to server 2003

We have an older Windows Server 2000 guest who was P2V sometime.  It is one of our domain controllers.   In the process of migrating our AD domain until 2008, I have tried to upgrade this server to 2003 our ad can be in 2003 as part of the move towards 2008.   Long story short, in order to upgrade to 2003 server, I had to remove the old Compaq Network Managment of the machine software.  This software was not in Add/Remove Programs, then I went to the manual way to remove hidden drivers, when still it did not work, I have deleted all entries in registry SEO Compaq network management.  I proceeded with the upgrade, but when the system has finished, the LAN connection is missing, and Device Manager has a yellow explanation point to the NIC for VMware Acceleraged AMD PCInet adapter.

I recloné and resume the upgrade with only remove entries from registry for Compaq Network MGT.  Yet once, after an upgrade, the same problem appeared with the network card.

I don't know how to successfully remove the Ghost for the Compaq when the software seems to not exist on the computer.  (nothing in Add/Remove Programs, nothing in C:\program files, start anything in the 'Programs' from the menu list.

Once I get the error on the NIC card I can't fix.  I tried to reinstall the VMWare driver from the VMTools directory, but that still does not work.

Not sure about Windows 2000, but IIRC the HP drivers can be removed trough the network card properties!

Be sure to reconfigure the guest operating system to Windows Server 2003 in the properties of the virtual machine after the upgrade. I had probably also remove the NIC and add an E1000 NIC, which is the default value for Windows 2003 VMs.

  • lack mss32.dll try to reinstall the program

When I start the game it warns me that mss32.dll is missing I should try to reinstall the program again. is there any way to get this lack "I have now" without changing my window?

    Hello

    ·         The game you are trying to open?

    ·         If it works much earlier?

    ·         Did you make any changes before the show?

    ·         Have you installed the new driver for the graphics card?

    Method 1:

It seems that the file may be part of a sound card driver. I suggest that you reinstall your sound card driver and then eventually try to reinstall Call of Duty 4. This should install it the missing files that may not have installed the first time with each program.

  • Access to the C drive after refresh error

Yesterday when I booted up my pc, I got an error and it started auto repair. Repair auto falied. My C drive is almost full so I used cmd and free space then did an update of the system. The update went well, but after that whenever I try to access the C drive it says: 'access denied '. Under the name it shows "NTFS". Given that windows 8 has been installed in C itself, now I can't open system tools. Not even the properties of the drive C. I tried 'icacls' and 'takeown' but in vain. I had a lot of important things in the C drive, so it would be a real pain to format. I tried to use Linux to mount the drive, still cannot access it.  PS I want to know there is another way, I can access the files and make a backup of them? Or just to resolve "access denied"? Thank you in advance.

Original title: need for disk space

Here are the official specifications of Toshiba for your PC...

    http://support.Toshiba.com/support/staticContentDetail?ContentId=638405&isFromTOCLink=false

All interface PATA (IDE) connectors are a standard 40 pin.

I know that there is no restriction on the mixture of ATA drives with different speed capabilities and no restrictions on what cable you use, whether 40 wire or 80 strand (but still 40 pins).

Faster drives will only work at the speed of the slowest car on any cable and 80 strand cables are needed to make ATA66 or higher drives run at their native speed.

In addition, no player can work faster than the motherboard chipset permits, in your case ATA66.

My provider of trade has still some disks 3.5 '' PATA in stock, but these are becoming harder and harder to find. Indeed, it is possible that production has ceased and that suppliers are just exhausted stocks.

I can certainly say that, when repairs this technology were more frequent, I never had problems with discs theoretically faster on the same cable as slower drives, nor by using faster on 40 cable strands discs. In fact, of many penny pinching manufacturers (some of them major) regularly used for the optical drive and hard drive on the same cable as the motherboard has two connectors, resulting in a decrease in performance on the disk hard (although most of the people would not have noticed the difference). Sometimes, the cable would be 40 strand (understandable if you are penny pinching) and sometimes the cable would be 80 strand (laughable if you are penny pinching because they are [were] more expensive).

Pass your question about vacant below the sound card. Unless your text confused me, this space is for expansion cards no disk drives. Space that you reference is probably to the back of the PC. Hard drives are normally located toward the front of the dedicated PC "berries". Unfortunately, I could find no photo on the Toshiba site, and still less those internal.
