Trying to give my daughter my old iPad. Set up a family sharing. Cannot delete photos

This turns into a real pita.  I created a family sharing for the old iPad, which is very low on space, I'm empty I can't seem to get rid of the pictures, it is probably better just to get rid of the entire library, but everything appears.  Can't delete the photos that would take years to do anyway if it worked the same.  Disable all options photo to iCloud and turn their back on did nothing

I give my husband my old ipad to replace its older iPad. I have reset my old iPad to factory settings and then save the sound an old man to iTunes on my MacBook and then synchronize my old iPad than upward?

You, in fact, start with settings > general > reset > erase all content and settings on the old iPad you disclose.  (Before doing this, make sure that the iPad has been removed to find my (iPad), if it has been implemented.  Also, make sure that you have made the settings > general > software update, then it executes the current iOS version.)

I hope that your husband (one being replaced) old iPad has already been saved or to iTunes on his computer (with his account, not yours) or iCloud (using his Apple ID, not yours).  Simply restore his 'new' iPad using this backup.  If the backup is to his iTunes account, make sure it is the latest version of iTunes (12.4).

My husband has replaced its old iPad 2 / 16 gb for a new iPad Air 2 / 64 gb. I would like to take his old iPad and strictly use for my memory-hogging games like Bash Bingo, secret society, The Room, etc. If I do a full reset, it will give me enough speed for these games? The main reason to replace the old with the new, is that the old one got painfully slow.

Explanation: I am usually concerned about things such as notes and images - but if they are on the new iPad - and that is synchronized in the cloud, then signing of iCloud on the old device will not affect anything

  • Given the old IPad but can't sign in with my ITunes.

A friend gave me his old iPad. How can I remove his account and add it to my Apple account?

I can't go at all. She had erased everything on it and he wants to perform a fresh install. It does not accept my ID if iTunes, is wanting to one originally used with the iPad, which she has no idea what it is. There is therefore no way to disable find it my iPhone in question.

She bought a new iPad because she could not remember the iTunes connection or email to retrieve a password, which was probably the connection too.

She needs to remember that apple ID and password

What you feel is the locking of the activation and an anti theft mechanism (not judging or accusing, suffice it to say)

I have a question about my old to my new iPad iPad backup process. During the stage of backup it won't let me use the most recent backup (today) of my old iPad because he says that my old iPad must have installed IOS2. I checked and my old iPad has the most recent update of IOS2.

4 December 2015 backup option is suggested by the new iPad, but it's too old. I did an update just before I started the process to make sure that I got the most recent backup and it is not recognized by the new iPad. I'm not sure why I get this error message and don't know what to do. I hope someone can help me. Thank you.

    Version numbers please.

Which version of iOS was/is on the new iPad?

What version # is iTunes on the computer you're using? Please give a number as 11.x, 12.x.

You do not need to do this, just disconnect on the iPad, you are finished with (settings > iCloud) then all clear (settings > General > reset > erase all content & settings).

  • 4013 error keeps popping up when you try to restore the old iPad

I was going to give old iPad (3rd generation, 64 GB Wi - Fi cell =) of my friends to my niece and follow all instructions on this link https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201351.  But it turns out, she could not even get sound or use. He continued in this vicious circle of turn the page of "Hello", asking for language, country, network, etc.  Then screen would say impossible to activate.  So I forced to restart, log apple appeared, then the black screen that showed 'connect cable to iTunes' appeared.  So I plugged into my Mac.  My Macbook is new <6 months="" old="" with="" el="" capitan="" os="" x,="" itunes="" is="" also="" updated.="" then="" followed="" these="" instructions="" on=""> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201412 (I did point #3). I chose "update" first, then when it does not solve my problem, repeat the steps and chose "restore" instead.  In the end, still no resolution, window that says error 4013 occurred. This old iPad, of course, was the Apple Care warranty.  I'm surprised to find that many people have this same problem and no announcement of a recall on these things.  I have the original iPad (first generation), and thank God it is still in working condition, used by another niece of 2 years.  And the irony is this 3rd generation, there are problems.  Y at - it hope that it can be corrected.  I paid top dollar for this piece of technology, I bought every model of iPad and iPhone, same macbook air/pro, macbook, there is.  And is the one who gave me the biggest problem, it seems a waste of money. Should I take in for repair (and pay service fees)? If anyone can share what they found to the same question, I would be grateful.  Thank you

The first thing to do is to ensure that you have the latest version of iTunes on your computer. iTunes 12.3 is the latest version.

  • my old iPad 2 is too slow, how can I do to fix

My old iPad 2 is too slow to open a web pages to navigate, why does this happen? and how can I do to fix it. Thanks to anyone who can help me.

I'm afraid there is no way to update your device.

You can look into doing a restore, which would be to reinstall the operating system, but I doubt it will do too. As the owner of an ipad 2, the only way to get a lot faster is simply to replace it. The 2 is about 5 years old, so positively ancient in technology standards.
