Turn off notifications during the night sounds? (Z3)

Hi all

I am the proud new owner of a Z3, I love it!

Well part of it...

I woke up in the night with notifications Facebook, emails and these buzzes and beeps in the night.

I can not turn my phone on silent that I'm on call for my job and have need my phone sounds in the night, if someone calls.

I used to have a Samsung Lise S3 before it, it contained a (I forgot the name) and worked very well. I assume wrongly that it was a protective cover for Android phones...

After Googling, I noticed some people promote 3rd party applications. But come on Sony - certainly, I can't be the only one suffering?

Thanks in advance for advice.

Smart connect a mode at night which can disable data overnight.

  • Why can't I turn off notifications?

All I'm trying to do is to find how to disable notifications from a forum in your communities.  I used the link 'disable notifications' before, but your system ignored, because every day I get dozens of unwanted emails on your part (VMPlayer forum).

Today, I read your help page, which clearly says that I should see a link to turn off notifications in the 'Actions' menu to the right when I'm in a community and it very clearly isn't here.  The only link of "notifications" in this box is for the RSS FEED.

I don't see an easy way to send anyone who can do something, so I'm reduced to begging you through this forum.

ADDENDUM: I found a thread in which I participated.  The area Actions to the right shows "Receive notifications by e-mail -" NOT "email notifications to stop" which probably means that I stopped it.  Yet I always get dozens of emails per day of all THE TYPES of threads, all with

    [VMware Player} in the title.]

Can someone let me know what I need to do to stop getting them?

go to the Forum.  You see, in the right corner a link that says to stop e-mail Notifications?

2-3 days after the expiry of my warranty of one year, my computer turns off suddenly during use.  I rebooted, but it stopped again.

The model is that the computer runs for 15-30 minutes, then suddenly stops, the system reboots, runs for 2-3 minutes, stops, restarts, spans less than a minute, stops, restarts, stop after a few seconds, etc., and at that time there I give until the next day when I repeat the same cycle all over.    I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and it is a model of Dell Inspiron 518.  There is no error message but a beep at startup upward.  I ran Windows repair program 'Start' who did a restore without success.  The problem occurs even in Safe Mode.

Does anyone have a guess as to what is the diagnosis?  Thank you.

    Hi mweedn!

I understand that you see a reduction in the battery of your iPhone 5s after updating to iOS 10. It is important to be able to make full use of your iPhone! There are a few resources that can help.

Before the resolution of the problem, were you able to view information using your battery on your iPhone? Here's how to check the amount of battery used by each application:

On the use of the battery on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

When you answer, remember to let us know if you see all the apps with an abnormal amount of battery. See you soon!

  • Date system resets to 2002 after a stop during the night

I have a Dell Dimension 4550 with XP operating system purchased in 2002. Computer work fine except after having turned it off during the night resets date and time system in 2002. After resetting in the configuration screen, it will keep the date until I stop from one day to the next one up to 2002. The error message only in the file is The Core Services service AG could not start due to the following error. The system does not find the specified path, how can I fix this problem

When the system date and time are incorrect, then is a good indication that the battery on the motherboard needs to be replaced.

the battery from the motherboard is also known under the name of the cmos battery and the bios battery.

There are instructions on the net how to replace.

most of the time its pretty simple to replace and the battery can be purchased where they sell watch batteries.

You can remove the battery and get the model number or search for it in the manual of your computer or your manual online computers at its place of origin.

  • Is it better to turn off my computer at night or put in mode "sleep"?

This is my wife Dell, about 8 years old and using a router in my computer and it is windows XP

Thanks Steve.  I asked the question because my wife has problems connecting to the internet in the morning after she stops every night.  I'll take 3 or more attempts.  His son tech-savy told him to stop, and I said to sleep as I do.  In any case, thanks for your response.

Turn off your computer is a good idea, because it will give him some rest to run all day, cool off, etc..

When the computer comes on, it takes some time to connect to the internet, and according to what age has the computer it might take some time.

Just turn off the computer during the night and the morning market and leave for a few minutes while it loads everything, and when you come back it must be connected to the internet just fine.

Unless of course there is an underlying problem of the internet, in which case let us know and we can work on fixing it.

  • My computer fills up during the night with 50 GB of additional storage used. Why would he do that?

I have a 500 GB hard drive. He "filled." 0 bytes left. I bought an extra external hard drive and have installed 250 GB on the new hard drive. I did NOT use the computer during the night. In the morning, the original hard drive was new. Why would he do that?

I suggest you use a utility like the size of the folder to try to identify where the records are piling up.

(for example I recently used it to track down a mystery space where it turns out the user contained a diagnostic trace activated accidentally in a safety program that created constant log files in a deeply nested subfolder.)

  • Mac Air drains almost zero during the night when the laptop is closed.

The laptop isn't a deal and is closing completely. During the closure, it is either not sleep or something it is waking up. I looked at the activity monitor and nothing takes too much energy (but something could stay while it is supposed to sleep, but I don't know if there is a way to check that).

I'll leave it open tonight and just push sleep in the menu apple tonight and see how it works. Even if it works, I wish I could just shut up because this is supposed to be able to do.

Also, I recently downloaded Skype plugin and it's, it's the only change I made in the time this problem started, which may have something to do with it.
