  My other projects this year are to virtualize them and also offer a DR plan for all their systems.  It's a pretty small environment with 14 physical servers and less than 10 TB of data.

  Guess you'll have to try to figure out why this second requirement and change it (i.e. No WAN except at the site of the replica) or continue to use a type of cone / disk backup solution.

  I gave in and doesn't have an updated system. I hesitated because of the number of items that would be removed, but did not find the solution easy here I did anyway. It would seem that the updates that have been installed recently was the culprit that after completing the update and reboot the system, my wireless icon is back and I can again connect to the internet via hotspot on my cell phone.
