Hallo Simon
One thing is strange to me. You ordered the WLAN card update? Technicians have tested the functionality of WLAN card? Did you send your laptop to the Toshiba authorized service partner?
If the map is compatible and correctly installed, you should be able to activate the card by using the WLAN switch. Please try to reinstall the driver. You can find it on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/
One last thing: is your laptop preinstalled with Toshiba recovery image?

Card Intel Pro/Wlan 2200 BG unposted to the Satellite Pro M30
I have a satellite pro 30 spm, my wifi worked well before, then he disappeared from the network connections. I think that the wireless card is not recognized by the system more and I tried to reinstall it. and it did not solve my problem.
Please I'm looking for help
Thank you
Hello
If the map doesn't exist for the system, it takes just a few hardware malfunction (card, slot or connection). To be 100% sure on this, backup your data and reinstall the OS using recovery media (factory settings). If the problem persists, you can communicate with the service or use an external solution. Sorry, but I don't see any other solution.

Intel pro wireless 2200BG doesn't work
I installed an Intel pro wireless 2200BG mini PCI card on my Satellite 1900-303, everything looks OK, but it says hardware turn off switch is on but the led remains off and the Wireless does not work
Hello
Have you checked the State in Device Manager? There is a yellow question mark? If there is no problem with the right mouse button you can activate it.
If there is no green light try anyway to make connection and check the functionality of the wireless card. Perhaps is the lack of green light.

Satellite A200 - Intel Pro Wireless 3945 fall
Hello
I have a problem with my laptop Satellite A200 (with Vista Home Premium 32 bit) where the Intel Pro Wireless connection keeps itself turning off after several minutes or several hours of use.In network connections, the wireless connection is shown as people with reduced mobility. When I try to enable it, it will say something like "Enable already ongoing attempt". And he's never coming back. However, wireless orange light is always on the cell phone all the time. The only way to reactivate the wireless connection, is to restart the system.
I know this is a very common problem, I see the same problem among other threads on this forum.
After a short search on Google, and I see that many other people have the same problem too, particularly with Dell laptops. Forum sites there 2 in particular, that have the most information on this topic, I found:
http://www.vistaforums.com/Forum/Topic4198-45-1.aspx
http://thevistaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=9834These are the things that I tried to resolve this problem:
(I got all the drivers from the site http://www.toshiba.co.nz, that I got this laptop from NZ and the specific laptop model number is PSAFCA A200)-Updated the BIOS with the latest version.
In fact, I think that updated the BIOS could be the cause of this problem wireless, or in part. Because a few months back, the laptop kept cutting itself no reason apparent, perhaps once or twice a week. So I've updated the BIOS, which actually fixed the random stops, but since then, I've known this wireless problem. Coincidence maybe.-Upgrade to the latest driver for the wireless network.
I tried a various number of drivers. Later off the coast of http://www.toshiba.co.nz, http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/, http://www.intel.com. None of them have worked.
For the moment, I use the older driver comes preinstalled with Vista.
Intel Pro wireless 3945ABG (Microsoft) was sometimes since 2006. And surprisingly, this one works best. Drop-outs are not as frequent as more recent drivers, but the problem still happens.
With this new drivers (dated from 2007), I find that it turns off several times a day. Once or twice an hour.
With the former, once every two hours.
That's what I feel, it is probably coincidence.-Update of Windows Vista with service pack 1.
-Updated the firmware on my router. It is a DLink G604T. However, I doubt that it is one router problem, my other laptop running fine without any abandonment wireless.
-Power WLAN disabled economic option.
Under power settings, select the setting of maximum performance.-Set lowest roaming aggressiveness, even tried with highest.
-On the "Power Management" tab in the properties for Intel Pro Wireless 3945ABG Network connection, tried to activate and deactivate the option "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
-Done a full virus/spyware scan.
-Uninstalled the software Toshiba Wireless Zero Configuration.
I think I've tried just about everything that I can, so I'm here pretty much as a last resort.
I hope someone can help me solve this problem.
It was so annoying since many months now! It's not fun to have to restart the laptop all the time.Thank you.
I see that you have tired most of the things that I would say too
You said that WLan works better using the old driver Wlan MS if it s really a WLan driver problemBut what said
I searched a bit in the MS knowledge base and found this article:
+ Several problems occur on a Windows Vista-based computer when you work in a wireless network environment.
http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB; EN-US; 932063Check it out.
But a friend of mine had a similar problem of Wlan and nothing helped, he did a update BIOS, set the Wlan driver, etc.. nothing!
Finlay, he changed WiFi channels.
He chose the other channel on the router and wireless network and since then the Wlan card works well...Maybe it s worth a try!

Tecra M2 - cannot install drivers Intel/PRO Wireless 2100
I have a Toshiba Tecra M2. Drivers Toshiba page for my model lists an update driver for this PC as follows:
Driver Lan Wireless 19/12/05
Intel Windows XP 9.0.2.31 World WideI don't seem to be able to install it, even though I have an Intel/PRO Wireless 2100 in the portable - setup just point out that it is not compatible driver or a device installed. The previous update of the driver:
02/12/04 Wireless Lan Driver
Intel Windows XP 1.6.0.47.W2 World Widereported as installed OK and Device Manager reports 1.6.0.47 as the installed driver.
I understood that the version 9 drivers are more stable but not the driver version 9 applies to my laptop?
Hello
If you check the driver information, I think that you will not know why it does not work. I have the same WLAN card on my Tecra M1 and our cards support the standard 802. 11, a / b. The driver that you want to have is for cards supporting the 802.11 standard, a / g, g.
I tried to install it on my Tecra but the same result.
Don t worry that everything is OK. If you buy a new Intel 2200 g card you can use.
Good bye

R51 Intel PRO/Wireless NIC 2200BG will not keep Radio Active
Trying to activate an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG NIC I have it configured and connected. After a reboot or power down/up the NIC comes up with the 'device wireless off. I see this when I go to Device Manager and select properties for this network controller. And then clicking the Advanced tab, I see "(radio off) wireless device" with a check box indicating that it is indeed 'off '. I uncheck this box and the message "this setting only take effect if the power button on the adapter is turned." Then clicking OK two times the changes are applied and the NIC rises and works until the process of booting from the network. I tried updating the driver, but the update process tells me that I'm late a (8.0.12.20000) installed. I searched this forum but have not seen all the patches. Anyone have any ideas? TIA for any help.
Bob Helms
The answer is;
1 uninstall the wireless network card.
2 re-boot and let XP find the wireless network card.
3. manually configure the wireless NETWORK adapter to work with your wireless router.
If you do not manually turn off the radio it will remain turned on and configured after a re-boot.
Thanks for your replies.

Satellite A100-784 - Intel PRO Wireless 3945ABG off randomly
Hello
I have Toshiba Satellite A100-784 with Intel PRO Wireless 3945ABG wireless adapter.
Today I was working with my friend on some project connected on his wifi sharing internet connection on Toshiba Satellite A100-510.
After a while I lose the internet connection and I see that this blue icon is no longer in the test system.I try to use Toshiba ConfigFree but it was impossible to open, so I try to open the network connection of the control panel and after a period of time the network connection has been accessible and I saw that this network adapter is disabled. I try to activate three times but nothing.
After rebooting, everything was ok and wireless adapter is turned on and ready to use for the next 10 or 15 minutes.
First disable comes after two hours. I use Windows XP SP 2.The problem is that I have to restart my computer everytime where I lose internet connection (WiFi is turned off automatically).
Everything is blocked its very hard to access the settings of network or toshiba configfreeThank you
Try this:
Update the BIOS of the laptop
Update driver Intel Wireless LAN
Use static IP addresses, instead of dynamic (DHCP)
Temporarily disable your firewall software
Update the Firmware on your Access Point -
Update Intel Pro Wireless driver
I'm trying to update my Intel PRO/Wireless through the main site to Intel.
I downloaded the driver and everything trying to install it, there are two exe. There are files* 1 - dpinst32 .exe *.
* 2 - iProDifx .exe *.My question is: is to be installed from which above? And if the two including a first pls?
Thank you
Hello!
Are there no setup.exe or install.exe?
But I think you should start the file dpinst32.exe.Alternatively, you can install the driver manually. Go to Device Manager-right click on the WLAN card-online update driver online
Good bye

Intel PRO/wireless 3945 users - Vista and SP1
Hello
is anyone having problems with the Intel PRO/wireless 3945 on VISTA? It worked fine with the embedded version of VISTA RTM but that Microsoft has published patches and updates, my machine became unstable.
Symptoms are accidents when entering the mode "Eve" (the screen goes black, HD does not stop and finally dreams of fan up to max Fourny..) and the system freezes when the wireless LAN is disabled with the switch HW or FlashCards.
The problem is very acute with VISTA SP1, and I had to disable the driver. I'm sure that this driver is the issue that I reinstalled VISTA using recovery before you apply the latest service pack 1 (RC Refresh) last week.
If you use this chip Vista wireless problem, please post your experience and advice if you have auto update in MS patches, especially the KB related to the performance of materials (KB941649 and USB KB941600 etc.)
Hello
It is an Intel WLan card. So try to use the Intel WLan driver on Intel page.
From time to time Intel provides new updates of pilot and mainly the WiFi problems should be solved after an update of the WLan driver.Greetings

Intel pro/wireless 2200bg will not connect or is very slow
I just do a fresh install of xp pro and my intel pro/Wireless 2200bg has no connectivity. I downloaded new drivers, but nothing works. I bought an external card of bg and it works perfectly. I have a thinkpad t43. All downloads came from levono or intel. What can I do?
Hi TimWiegel,
You can run the Intel® Wireless troubleshooter from this link & check if the problem persists.
http://www.Intel.com/support/wireless/WLAN/sb/CS-025779.htm
Reference: Why am I not able to connect or stay connected to my Wi - Fi network?Hope the helps of information.
Please post back and we do know. -
Intermittently lose connection WiFi. XP Pro, Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG
I recently recovered from a nasty virus and my computer seems back to normal except an annoying problem. Periodically, I lose my wireless connection. It happens on multiple networks, so I know it's the computer. I updated my drivers (all who were on the Dell support site specific for my service tag) and still not fixed. I used to be forced to restart, but now (after the driver update), I can use the Device Manager to disable, and then enable the wireless adapter and the connection returns every time... but its obviously annoying.
Any suggestions would be helpful. I have a Dell Latitude D630 running XP Pro. The
card is an Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG. Thanks in advance. You may not say anything on the power saving mode, but the link you posted has done. None of these things worked anyway.
However, I found a solution that others may find useful. Apparently the Dell Web site is not exhaustive with regard to the pilots. I found a update for my driver wireless on a third party site, Drivermax.com
After the update, the problem has been resolved. DriverMax is an application that is free to download and much appreciated on download.com
Free version allows only download driver per day, so be sure to choose carefully.
Lesson learned: sites Web of manufacturers is not always the best place to find updates driver
