Turn on Protected Mode turns off in IE 8 after rebooting

Every time I have start or restart my computer, and then open IE 8, I get a bar at the top of the screen that shows the protected mode is disabled.  I go to Tools - Internet Options - Security - Internet and the box in front of "The Enable Protected Mode (requires restarting Internet Explorer)" is unchecked.  I check the box and click on apply.  I then restart Internet Explorer and I have no other problem with protected Mode become invalid as long as I do not restart or shut down the computer.  What is going on?  How can I keep the Protected Mode?  Thank you!

You have UAC active? You have a version of Vista with GPedit (group policies), parental control,
or have a conflict of security configuration?

Have you tried IE with no Addons?

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons.

Perhaps restore and reset IE
IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab - Restore Defaults - then RESET - APPLY - OK close and restart IE

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - IE with no Addons - what works best?

IE - tools - manage Addons (for sure disable SSV2 if it is there, it is no longer necessary but Java always install

Windows Defender - tools - software explore - look for problems.

    Team dear Sony,

Reminder: My Xperia Z3 phone is 5 months old. It worked perfectly well until the update of Lolipop (updated 3-4 weeks).

Question: Phone turns off suddenly on its own and is not put on until several attempts after pressing the power button.

    Few comments:

    1. no point it disables. During a call, while loading, while the navigation and so on.

    2. I tired of all the combinations of power of the device mentioned in different threads.

    3. I removed the SD CARD, SIM CARD. But in vain.

    4. as someone mentioned in one of the thread suspecting some sort of application creating the question, I did mode ultra endurance enabled to limit the minimum demands naked ot. But in vain.

    5. I did factory reset and update the phone. But in vain.

    All effrots are frutail.

Can the team Sony or friends on this forum to support suggest me what to do?

    Thank you in advace,

    @GopiKrsna

    Try this.

Remove the SD and SIM cards > fix the phone with PCC > make sure you delete all > when you repair the phone > trying to use the phone without SIM and SD card for an hour or two > report.

  • Lenovo Z500 turns off a few seconds after the round. He started for the second time.

    Hello

For several days my Lenovo Z500 is a strange problem. When I push the turn on button laptop starts up and shuts down after a few seconds when the windows logo appears. When I push again the button it starts fine with no problems.

I have a Windows Professional 10, everything was ok for a while and now I don't know how to solve my problem.

I'm going to enjoy all the ideas.

I thought to reinstall Windows, but maybe you know the solution to fix it.

P.S. I have the latest version of the BIOS installed.

    Kind regards

    Albert

I think I solved the problem.

Problem has been activated "quick start" in the power settings.

To turn off the quick start, follow these instructions:

    1. Open the start screen
    2. type po drank directly on the start screen (power buttons short for). It will take you directly to the applet "change what the buttons to" in the search results.
    3. Click on the link "Change settings that are currently unavailable" to put at the disposal of the shutdown options.
    4. Uncheck the enable (active)-quick start .
    5. That's all. Now the quick start feature is disabled.

Now everything works fine, z500 boots each time correctly with the first run.

    Thanks LenBlazer.

  • With regard to the Epson V300 scanner. I installed the current version software driver successfully. It works fine until I turned off the computer. After the reboot, the scanner is not recognized and driver not found.

On the page of 'Uninstall and change of program' of the computer, the Epson Scan icon with a red arrow on it.   In addition, elevated Epson Support found no problem. Indicated that the problem was with the computer or windows.      I installed on another computer and worked properly.    If there is a conflict with another device, I can't find it.

    Hello

    ·         You did changes to the computer before the show?

Step 1: I would say you put the computer to boot and check that the software or conflicting drivers:

Note: Place the computer to normal startup by following step 7 from the link above.

Step 2: Download and install the software driver in a clean boot state, and check to see if it helps:

  • How to turn off the message waiting after a connection failure?

    Hello

I'm testing a new login process. Sometimes, I can not connect due to bugs in my procedures.

On the login screen, there is a connection message that makes you wait 5, 10, 15 seconds etc after a connection failure.

I don't want no waiting to connect again.

    I use APEX 5.0.3 with Oracle 11 GR 2

    Best regards.

The connection limit is to reduce the risk of denial of service attacks, and therefore it is not recommended to disable this feature.

That being said, you can turn off the countdown to the instance level and not at the level of the application.  Connect to Oracle Application Express Administration Services. Click manage an Instance from the drop-down list level, and then select Security. Click on the authentication tab, and then under global settings, to 'delay after connection attempts that failed in a few seconds', enter 0 to disable the countdown and allow immediate access.

  • Flash player 11 (11.1.102.55) turns off every time that I reboot!   Win 7 - Thinkpad T500

The craziest thing happened to my laptop.  I had this problem for about 3 weeks.  Whenever I reboot, Adobe Flash Devils player himself.  I say turn off rather than uninstall since when I look in the section programs under control panel it says Flash Player 11.1.102.55 is here.   But when I try to play something like a YouTube video or anything that requires Flash Player it will not run and wrote "you need to update your Adobe Flash Player" or in the case of a video YouTube integrated into a site it says "Adobe Flash Player or browser HTML5 support is required for video playback.".  I use IE 9 to my browser.  So I have to re - install Flash Player on the laptop, and then I can once again play video.

So I just see next point today when I started my computer in the morning. First time I saw it.   From the start and not to do one thing for the laptop, but startup, Windows gave me a message that says "Installing/uninstalling Flash Player 10.1 Adobe r102 has stopped working".  He then generated some files for me and asked if I wanted to send more infoarmtion on the problem.  One of the files is a .txt file.    The other was a mdmp thread and the other was a .xml file.  The .txt file is copied below.

Can someone help me solve this problem!

    Thank you

He told me that the so-called "C:\ProgramData\MediaMall\if.exe" has been uninstalled and then moved immediately to start the system.  We followed this executable down to a service called PlayOn.  Once this service has been disabled, Marc has managed to install the latest version of Flash Player without having uninstalled the next time it is restarted.

Whenever I get out my phone, it displays a login window when I get back.  I went to the power options, checked "Don't require a password on wakeup" and rebooted, but it keeps asking for the password.  Where else this function is controlled?

Tried your suggestion - created the new account of a user with administrator privileges & disconnected.  When I did, he triggered a BSOD & restarted.  When I logged on as the new user, the problem does not occur.

Now, the question is to know how repair my existing profile - I wouldn't do it again.  Is there somewhere in the registry where this function?

See if you can follow the above article.
First part is the creation of an account of neww you have already done so.
The 2nd part is to copy files to the new account.
Remember that you must have 3 accounts to carry out instructions. For example, create a 3rd account if you do not. Just to get this done with copy.
PS You should always have 2 admin accounts. The 2nd admin account acts as your account of emergency backup if the 1st admin is corrupted and you can not connect it. In this way, you will never get locked out of the machine.

  • "Error 49 - Turn Off Service, then press"-M251nw LaserJet200

    HP Laserjet 200 - M251nw series

    OS X 10.7.5

    The printer keeps displaying:

"49 Service error - turn power off then on.

I bought the printer a Best Buy only 4 days ago new.  Only the first night the printer work properly.  I installed it on my wireless network and never plugged the USB cable during installation, as suggested in the installation guide.  As I said, the first night, it was fine.  Printed everything fine, apps worked top (still do actually), and the printer I slept very well that first night.  He never woke up (as I know).

Now, he will not sleep.  Nothing has changed on my computer, but now I have the "49 Service error."  I have no way of knowing what that means that even.  She will run her mistake, and if I don't get to her in time (only about 30 second window turn off while he says this), it will turn off and restart.  After reboot, it shows the homescreen very well for about 3 minutes, then gives "ERROR 49", and the cycle starts again.  This happens about 50 times a day now.

I unplugged for several hours at a time, the printer will behave for about 30 minutes, and then start the cycle again.

I turned off the wireless on this subject, still happens.

I checked and ran an update of the firmware on it, still happens.

I turned off the wireless on my computer (just in case he called to the printer), still happens.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers on the computer, still happens.

On another note, I have to reinstall the drivers, whenever I want to print it seems.  If I let it sit for a day, the computer can't find the printer.  Even if that nothing has changed.  I do not close my computer, if the drivers are not lost, I turn off the printer (I try to let him sleep, but it will not), but when I go to print, the printer "can not be found", and the document will sit for 15 minutes before giving the impression that and start troubleshooting.  Even while the computer and the printer are on the same network. To get an impression, I launch a round of restarting my computer after uninstalling the drivers and unplug the printer power cord.  After that I feel, the printer is fine for about 20 minutes, then again any mistake about me.

I am very frustrated with this situation.  I'd like to think that just, I have a printer of bum, because the print quality is really outstanding on this thing, and that's exactly what I was looking for, but I can't deal with this much more.

    Help, please!

After hours of messing around with these printers, here is how I solved the problem of the 49 service error...

I unplugged the network cable from the printer, then created a network of peer to peer directly from the printer to my laptop. I had to manually assign an IP address from my laptop.

For example: the printer had a manually assinged IP of 192.168.10.45. Subnet: 255.255.255.0. Default gateway: 192.168.10.1

I plugged a cable ethernet directly from the printer to my laptop and assigned to my laptop the following IP model:

    IP address: 192.168.10.35

    Subnet: 255.255.255.0

    Default gateway: 192.168.10.1

Then I logged on the interface chart user of the printer by typing 192.168.10.45 in Internet Explorer. Under the 'Network' tab, I clicked on "Advanced" in the left menu.

Then I unchecked all the "features" except "IPv4", "DHCP" and "printing 9100. Let those audited.

After clicking 'Apply', I have connected the printer to the network and everything works great.

I guess you can reactivate the other feautures to please "Airplay."

Don't know why HP comes with all these processes... He has this hassle and creates so many problems.

  • Equium A60 turns off

    Hello

    I don't have an Equium A60 model: PSA67E-00300C8J
I recently tried to restart the laptop back to factory settings, but the laptop turns off in the middle of reboot. Whenever I'm back on it goes directly out after he checks the disk. Can someone help me please?

    Hello

Is it possible to run Notepad in safe mode?
    You should try this!

To start in safe mode, you should do this:

If the computer is running, shut down Windows, and then turn off
Wait a few seconds, and then turn on the computer.
Start pressing the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Options Menu appears.
If you start typing the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error".
To resolve this issue, restart the computer and try again.
Make sure that the safe mode option is selected.
Press ENTER. The computer then begins to start in safe mode.
