Twinning iPhone6S + & Soundbar using NFC

Can someone tell me if an iPhone 6s + can be coupled with a bar of his Sony using NFC. I looked on the net and cannot find any info on this. I would like to know IF this is feasible before I commit to buy a sound bar. See you soon

N ° throughout the NFC system in iOS is restricted to the ApplePay app only.  No other app or device even have access by iOS to the NFC system.

Can not pair you by BT, which is the more common way of matching?  I have BT pair my iPad or iPhone to my LG sound bar all the time.  NFC has a range of only centimeters, so I think it would be a royal pain always have to do the iPad or the iPhone more to the sound bar every time just to pair.

If so, when will it feature to share all the tabs?
    Thank you.

I don't know if we implement this. Sharing of all the tabs you have open have many security and privacy issues. Someone forget that they had a tab open, they didn't want to share or miss-clicks on the sharing of all the option.

We are looking for ways to better share tabs with devices that are located nearby. Especially if they are on the same WiFi network.

  • NFC political "Allow transfer of work using NFC data" opens too many doors

There are two strategies for BB10 on BES 12.3 for applications using NFC:

    a generic NFC

    and also

"Allow transfer of work data using NFC"

    UseCase:

Enterprise application runs the Cascades APP in the scope of work to register participants for events using the NFC

APP is the reading of the ID of the NFC with C chip

For this NFC card specific my Enterprise customer use, I had to put the two policies to allow reading of the ID cards.

If there are employees more then a sweep of the participant - maps, in the end, we should collect all scanned and upload to the server (probably later because wifi is bad in many hotels)

I have to transfer the collection ID of one peripheral BB10 to another creates a folder SNEP. (also using (C)

SNEP transfers text/plain and secure data I encrypt the data and then encode Base64 for this exchange of data can be done between devices running the same app 'know' encrypt/decrypt.

    Here the problem:

definition of the policy "allow the transfer...". "This opens for applications: you can mark the text and share it using NFC to other devices running all apps supporting NMIs private or work scope of NFC.

transfer of files using the part of the NFC can be disabled policy, but for example set the text of email from work and transfer as text outside the scope of work is a possible leak.

So it would be great, not only to have a comprehensive policy "allow the transfer...". "to the BES12, but also a specific authorization for BB10 apps.

Maybe there is already something like this? (I know there are some additional permissions that are not included in the boxes of bar descriptor.xml editor)

If not, where to place a request for security feature because it targets BES and waterfalls.

It is really important for my client to the company (from Finance Services that run many devices BB10)

  • NFC is turned off, BUT still using battery

Hello. I bought my Xperia double Z3 this new year. The battery performance was remarkable in the departure. He gave me at least 2.5 to 3 days on this time initial additional use when there is excitement on a new phone. Release minimal during the day before. And I've always used the pacifier.

Now, I noticed a regular drain on my battery. Sometimes it stays on a certain level for a long time like 1-2 hours, but sometimes 2-3% of fall right before my eyes. After awakening in the Moringa, it fell 5 to 10 percent. When the screen is off, I noticed 2-3% usage. It is now giving me within 2 days and I don't think I use too much of the screen as I did before.

I use constant services Wi - Fi and GSM (2G probably) in the mobile network settings. Mobile data connection, bluetooth, NFC etc. The main applications only installed Whatsapp, Skype, Viber, alarm Mimicker. I tried the endurance mode as well as with those applications in active standby mode, but rest of NFC.

When I check in battery usage statistics, NFC service is over the top, even though I never use NFC and it still isn't.

How can I get rid of this NFC? I don't think I'll ever use it. 3 or more days battery is much more preferable.

    Thank you.

P.S I suspect that service NFC arrived here after that I tried 'Smart Backlight Control' in the display settings. It was very convenient, but I immediately turned it off because I noticed that NFC has been enabled by its own. (I disabled NFC too).

There are a few gaps in your battery use chart. Those that are intended (ie you rebooted the phone manually) or not? If they are not your phone randomly restarts on its own.

Regarding your problem with nfc, I would try to launch the phone in SafeMode for awhile and see if it happens. If this does not happen them it is an application that you have installed acting upward. If this happens, then you should try to repair the firmware using CDP, and if he continues to be, then you may have a hardware problem. Also test if nfc actually works in the diagnostic menu.

  • iPhone5 switch ios6 to iphone6s ios9 problem

I am running ios6 on my iphone5 and backup with itunes OS x 10.6.8 11. I'm also moving to iphone6s but faced problems to complete from itunes OS x 10.6.8 11 is not compatible with iphone6s. Also, I plan not to update my mac to the latest version of the system due to several reasons.

I would like to ask is methods can I save my previous iphone5 to my new iphone6s? Using other computers or maybe last system mac and itunes can sync with ios6? Can anyone help?

FYI: 1. my iphone5 ios6 currently not working not properly. Once I click in it unexpectedly.

    2 iphone5 ios6 can always synchronize with itunes OS x 10.6.8 11 correctly.

    Thank you

My first thought was a backup to iCloud, but I think not iOS6 supports either.

Another suggestion is to go to an Apple Store near you and ask if they would be backup and restore your devices for you.  If you explain your situation and maybe make a reservation at the Genius Bar first, they just might.

  • NFC and direct Wifi does not

I haver tried nfs and direct wifi on my z3.

But today decided to try the brothers samsung galaxy s4.

    The problems:

I can send files using nfc to s4 but s4 is not able to send anything for me via nfs. Quite strange!

If force us again and again, only google game store opens automatically.

We enabled wifi direct on our phones and it showed connected as well.

But whenever we try to share whatever it is, it says "failed to send ' after a while on the S4.

And on my phone it doesn't do anything even though it shows always connected in Wifi settings live.

I tried using Commander file, select file, send via wifi direct, the s4 as connected watch and when I click it it that nothing happens at all!

So, what's the use of direct Wifi on Z3?

In this case seems to be the S4, I was able to transfer files between Z and Z1 Z1 with a Z3, I had hit and Miss with Xperias and samsung, but not with the Xperias and other androids.

  • Soundbar DELL AC511, driver problem

The first installation of the sound AC511 bar, Windows recognizes the device correctly as Dell soundbar and I could hear him. but after the reboot, Windows recognizes the device as a USB speaker and I can't hear the sound of the it.

It seems that Windows is unable to locate the right driver for AC511. I also tested device Windows 7,8,8.1 and after restart, the same problem arises. It is recognizing the USB speaker device. So, I deleted devmgmt.msc device and device reinstalled several times. but the problem remains. He always recognizes as speaker USB device and I can't hear the sound of the it.

    any solution to this problem?

    Thank you.

I'm not sure I'm reading these messages correctly, but if the soundbar using an USB connection on the screen, it will not work unless you have a cord connecting the monitor to the computer. The provided monitor with a cord that connecst the monitor to the computer in order to perform the USB connections on the monitor function. Otherwise, they will not work. I have not yet tried, but I read about it. The USB cable end goes to the computer and the other end goes into the USB port upstream on the monitor.

  • WiFi Direct | Bluetooth THE | NFC - Questions

does not do anything with WiFi Direct even as a developer - only as a user for Miracast.

    have tested the sample application

now have a few questions before I decide to use it

Maybe someone can share some details

    ---

    WIFI DIRECT

Is it possible after the first synchronization of time to connect without user interaction?

If possible it is possible the app without a head?

    ....

    think of this workflow:

    environment:

    * Peripheral BB10

    * W Arduino THE BT / WIFI live support

    UseCase:

User with BB10 device detects via THE BT as its is close to the Arduino

BB10 App connects to the Arduino via WIFI Direct

Data are transferred from Arduino to BB10 via WIFI Direct

better would be if - after the first time synchronization is made - it could be done in the background

    (without head on BES10)

If the background is not possible could also be executed if reduced

    most important:

ANY intervention from the user to connect via THE BT and WIFI Direct

If this cannot be done without - is it possible to be done using NFC tags?

    ----

    more details on the usecase:

    (a) a truck driver already running BB10 business app for managing work orders

    (b) inside of the truck, there is an Arduino by CAN - bus of tracking data and Mongo DB collection

Truck driver going in and out of the truck and if there inside the truck collected data should be transferred to the BB10 device, then BB10 sends the CAN bus data to the server via MQTT if there is network coverage or later via WIFI in the office

The great thing: customer didn't need additional SIM for CAN-bus-transfer of data, the BB10 device is already used for orders and sends data via REST to the server

I modified the sample WiFiDirect-ion, so that half of the application that receives connections ran without head and it worked.  The one catch is that notification of the API is always displayed.  Here's a picture of what it looks like to my blog a WiFi direct connection mode that displays the command prompt.

So you could do the Wi - Fi Direct connection from an application without a head without requiring the intervention of the user, but the dialog box is displayed.  But you can't have a WiFi connection to Direct a headless application without the user accepts the connection (see this screenshot of the same blog).

So for your case, it should work since you could do your application BlackBerry 10 connection to the Arduino.

  • NFC allows to open my application?

    Hello
    I'm new on using NFC.
I have so much to read a label and to write to a tag (learned the post official supportforums.blackberry on NFC)
    ...

However this is question is "how to open my application when the NFC is triggered.
say that I write the following string in my tags "myAppName_ [id]: url = 1".
    where "myAppName_ [id]" is unique.

So the problem is that after reading any tag, I have a DIALOGUE BOX WILL pop up that contains the data of the nfc.
is there a way to open my application instead of get this DIALOG box?

same question in terms (sorry because I am not knowing how to express myself as well):
Is it possible to open my app (or bring to foreground to background), after reading and verification (check via myfunction which will ensure that this tag is mine!) the tag (using NFC).

    Hello

Yes, using a custom type is a good idea. Note that it is always "NDEF" If... the NDEF format allows you to define your own types. But since no other type will know what you invented, that your application is registered.

BlueTooth scenario is a little different. It's something called transfer of connection. It is triggered by the camera during certain types of message NDEF are produced automatically, and usually the NDEF message is forwarded using the so-called SNEP (Simple NDEF Exchange Protocol) instead of standard tag reading... the difference being that the SNEP is a protocol of peer-to-peer. I don't worry about this if I were you, because I don't think it's important for your goal.

Invent your own type. You need a value type and domain, and then specify when you sign up as a single separate string by a ': ', for example:

    com Martin: special_type

If your code might look like this:

    ReaderWriterManager nfcManager = ReaderWriterManager.getInstance ();
    nfcManager.addNDEFMessageListener (listener,
    NDEFRecord.TNF_EXTERNAL, 'com.martin:special_type');

    Good luck

    Martin

  • Peer-to-peer NFC - how to send multiple messages?

I am able to send one message from a device and read on the other.

I wanted to do a handshake 3 channels using NFC, my goal was to have:
-App 1 writes a tag that begins app 2 served if it does not work
-App 2 sends a piece of application data 1
-On receiving app 1 sends another piece of data in response to app 2

To receive the data, I use a
    invoke targe
    -With a:
    - Then I connect to InvokeManager::invoked, in which I extracted the payload

To send the data, I use
    -nfc_create_ndef_record (NDEF_TNF_EXTERNAL
    -nfc_push_ndef_message
-J' use the nfc_target_t that I get in the NFC_SNEP_CONNECTION_EVENT event.

I'm able to push the message immediately NFC_SNEP_CONNECTION_EVENT, or later in an asynchronous event.
But I can't push the message twice, otherwise it is received only once

I have not found a way to use the native functions of nfc_ * to read the data of the NFC. I call nfc_register_tag_readerwriter (TAG_TYPE_NDEF), but AbstractBpsEventHandler::event is never called

    Hi Martin

Unfortunately you can not send multiple push messages in the context of a single NFC "tap." You must have the users of separate devices and tap again before you can send your second push message.

The way alternative and probably better to implement your handshake is to use LLCP.

I work on a sample of code for this right now and will be published as soon as possible.

    Concerning

    Martin

  • Turn off NFC

Hey friends, I use an example that use invokeActionItems to share stuff using NFC, I saw that it actually works for me, but sometimes the NFC thing will stay on after the activity is completed or even after I close the application, someone could tell me how to turn off?

    my code is as follows:

    InvokeActionItem
    {

    imageSource: "asset:///icons/signal.png."
    ActionBar.placement: ActionBarPlacement.OnBar
    query {}
    invokeTargetId: 'sys. NFCViewer ".
    invokeActionId: "bb.action.SHARE".
    URI: _dirPaths.files + 'temp1.jpg '.

    }

    }

    OK - you can not turn off;

  • [Launch the Application in signal NFC]

    Hi all
First of all, if the device is activated and unlocked then NFC works fine now.

However, if the device is locked then the NFC tag is not detected (and the app is not running).

It might be that applications cannot be launched when the device is locked (if that is the case, then no doubt we cannot not solve this problem), but we can verify that it is not something we do in the application to register such that it can be launched (using NFC) even when the device is locked?

    Best regards

    Dennis Rutchie.

    Hello

NFC tag reading is not activated when the device is locked.

    Thank you!
