Two concurrent instances of Skype running on Windows Phone 8
On my Windows 7 Desktop (and before that, Vista), I have 2 instances of Skype running for I can get calls on my staff or my Skype business account.
I have a 1520 Lumia and installed Skype. I can connect with either an account or another. Ok. But it's either one or the other. Can I have 2 instances of Skype running at the same time then the two are active - or on the desktop of my PC?
You can not. No matter what application you click the icon on your phone will take you to this application. Don't start a new one. Skype would support tabs or double accounts. It would be a very good idea and functionality.
Either way, you are running the latest version? Your incoming calls are still ringing on your phone while she is asleep in eve?

Hello
I connected two computers, one running on windows xp sp2 and others running on windows xp sp3 via com using RS232 port via link Modem DFM-562E ++.
I am able to dial numbers from a PC successfully.
But when I do a direct link between them (one as a host, the other guest) through the com port, I get error 777.
Is this because the two PC's using different service packs?
Help, please.
Thank you & best regards
RaviIt is not the service pack - although you should have installed sp3 now.
Your message is not clear: have you been able to connect successfully computers using your modem D-Link? How did you do that? Will there be a modem in the second computer?
What cable are you using to establish a direct connection between the com ports on both computers? If you have purchased this cable online, please provide a link to the site where you bought it.
Please describe the physical connection between the two computers. For example, this is how you connect to the Internet by dial-up services:
computer 1-{(9 broches) RS-232 serial port}-{RS-232 cable supplied with the modem}-{modem}-{phone cord (RJ-11 modular plugs at each end)}-{telephone wall jack}

How can I create a cluster of two instances that are running on the same server?
Hello
I can't find how to create a cluster or even a rule of failover for my two instances that are running on the same server ODSEE 11 GR 1 material.
Could you please help?
Thank youHello
Clustering (intended as Sun Cluster, Veritas Cluster, etc...) IS NOT supported since 7.0:http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E20295_01/PDF/821-1216.PDF [page 20]
and, according to my own experience, is the WORST way to achieve high availability of Service LDAP directory and in a way almost CONCEDED for replication problems in your topology (lock, split, re-init, etc...).
Please use the "application level" collection that you get out of the box with the multimaster replication.

Trigger two FPGA instances at the same time
I have a basic FPGA code that transmits the bits of data on a serial (RS-485) bus, the code is written so that it expects in the first State of a machine to States in a single-cycle timed loop. After a certain trigger, he begins to read a FIFO containing data and sends the data on a line of Tx. It does this until all bits are send and then it goes back to the first State to wait for the next trigger. The relaxation is necessary because windows must fill out first before the FPGA FIFO can start sending.
I need two instances of this code runs, because I have two buses of com (one is redundant). So I use the FPGA code as a Subvi and I wrote a main FPGA vi to call two separate instances of the Subvi in parallel. A regular window vi wrote on the FIFO for bed FIFO for Rx and Tx. No problems so far.
The thing is I start two transmissions in 200nS of each other (Yes, nanoseconds). Windows will write two FIFO in parallel, but the timing is 4uS apart, too long. I tried implementing a Boolean flag in the Subvi FPGA, but windows can not write directly on the control of Subvi. FPGA won't allow (the Write function is grayed out). I tried to use a FIFO for a flag, but the problem is a race condition. One of the instances is first read FIFO and he destroy. The other can't read. I need a common trigger point to be used by the two instances of Subvi.
My final solution was to use a memory in the Subvi FPGA and digital control in the main FPGA vi. Windows write in numerical order, it may because the control is in the main FPGA vi. Inside the main FPGA, I run a timed loop that looks for digital to be zero. If so, it writes the value into the location of the memory used by the Subvi FPGA. After awhile, the principal wrote a zero back to memory to prevent the Subvi is restarted, as well as to write a zero for digital to reset. This repeats, waiting for windows to write in digital again for the next transmission.
I had to do it this way because sometimes I want to pass on the bus, and sometimes just one or the other. Numeric values are used to determine which to pass on. Now, the transmissions are starting to almost exactly at the same time, 1 or 2 nanoseconds apart. But the trigger process seems very silly to me. I was wondering if there is a better solution. I'm pretty new to FPGA.
tbob wrote:
Basically, I did the same thing using FPGA memory. Windows I am writing for a digital control that resides inside the main FPGA vi. In the main FPGA, I write in the memory. Inside the Subvi FPGA, I read the brief and decode the value to use either one or the other or both buses. After fool with it for awhile, because reading Memeory needs to use a shift register (probably because it takes a whole cycle of clock), I had to work. The two bus trigger at the same time. I guess it's not really important if I use a FIFO or if I use the memory. The main problem is that I write Windows at the hand of FPGA, then the hand of FPGA for the Subvi FPGA. Then the time is right for what is the Subvi is.
There are some advantages to the use of two FIFO on your approach. First of all, you don't have the change of register for the memory location. Secondly, we should not worry that VI is responsible for compensation to the memory location, or do, you run the risk that one of your subVIs run twice, or not at all, if the memory is not erased at the right time. Perhaps most important, you'll save yourself space on the FPGA because you will not need arbitration - the additional code that is added when two parts of the FPGA try to access the same resource at the same time. In your case, both instances of the Subvi access the memory block at the same time, so the FPGA compiler adds additional logic to avoid conflict. If only read you the memory block in one place and just write it in one place (reading and writing can be different loops where subVIs) there is no need for arbitration. Using two FIFOs, you can keep independent and avoid the conflict resolution code. See the help for the "arbitration" for more details.

Hello
I keep getting error messages when I use the computer. It started two days after you download an update from Windows. A sample of the error is:
C:\windows\system32\difxapi32.dll is not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support.
I use a vista. I don't know how to solve this problem, many want to help.
Thank you.
Hi Colinthebrave:
Start with this little tool to help get rid of the error, once your system is stable again and then try to run your updates again.
Thank you for your message; Let us know how it goes.
o
o The System Restore tool
If the problem you are experiencing started occurring recently, you can use the System Restore tool. Using this tool, you can restore the computer to an earlier point in time. The tool using System Restore may not necessarily help you determine the problem. When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose another restore point and then click Next.
3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
4. click on finish.
The computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

Original title: c:\windows\system32\dbghelp.dll
In the few weeks whenever I turn on my computer, try to save a document in Notepad or listen to music on windows media player, I get this error message "bad image" which appears again about 5 times in a row until it disappears eventually.
"c:\windows\system32\dbghelp.dll" "not designed to run on windows or it contains an error" he cites that< a="" lot,="" i="" don't="" know="" how="" to="" stop="" this...="">
Another question is, apparently, that my Security Center is turned off, but when I try to turn it on, nothing happens - no windows/web page opens. The two are related?
How can I fix these problems?
Hi Pyrcia,
1. you remember to make changes to the computer before this problem?
Step 1:
You can try to run a SFC scan to check all corrupted files.
You can read the following article to launch the SFC scan:
Step 2: You can check the status of the Security Center service.
a. Click Start, type services.msc in the search bar and press ENTER.
Note: If UAC (User Account Control) window is prompted for permission to continue, please click on continue.
b. double-click the Security Center service and switch to the general tab.
c. change the startup type to automatic, and then click on apply.
d. Click Start, and then click OK.
Step 3:
You can also check out the following link and try to download the Microsoft Safety Scanner and perform a full scan on your computer.
Note: When you perform the analysis, there are risks of data loss you can take a backup of important data before performing analysis.
Hope this information is useful.

sysapcrt.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error.
My laptop is running on Win7. Somehow, either after one of the automatic day or at level I'm starting to meet in several instances of the same error that looks like this
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Settings Manager\smdmf\x64\sysapcrt.dll is not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try to install the program by using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the provider of software for support.
If I just click OK as many times the error message is displayed, I managed to work on, but the computer seems to slow down a lot and the mouse, reason is why o seems to freeze often.
Question:
(1.) what is the problem?
(2.) what program should I reinstall? Windows 7?
Help, please.
Phong Nguyen
(Moved to programs)
Hi Phong,
Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.
I understand that you are facing problems while using Windows 7.
The sysapcrt.dll file belongs to an application named Settings Manager. This is a modifier (pirate) homepage and search web browser application that is designed to install an add-on to the browser and change the settings of browsers in order to direct the search for recipes.
I strongly suggest you to remove this application. You can follow the steps below to help you with the same:
- Press Windows Key + R.
- Type appwiz.cpl.
- Right-click Settings Manager and click Uninstall.
- Restart the computer.
Check if your problem is resolved. Let us know if you come across an error message or if you still have problems of performance with the computer.
Hope this information was useful. Just reply with the results and if you need help or have any other questions about Windows, we're here to help.

This computer is not running genuine Windows) x8004fe22
I started the thing, it's SCAM. I called support and they told me that switching from XP to windows 7 was necessary. So, I bought a copy of Windows 7 Home. Then the party began. THIS COMPUTER IS NOT RUNNING GENUINE WINDOWS. Support and said thI had bought an illegal copy (NOT AUTHENTIC) and needed to purchase through MICROSOFT. More money to spend. So, I bought a copy of Windows 7 Pro. Well Yes, I still get the same error. Suppor; t ran the computer for two hours and said that it was my VIRUS program and I needed a better (MORE EXPENSIVE) program. Hmmmm. If somebody got this error and actually had it fixed with having to spend more money? I think request a paper copy of windows, and then remove the hard drive. Re-install and reload. Data backup is with my VIRUS provider.
As far as I know, no MS tech is be formed in MGADiag results until they reach level 3 - which is essentially Enterprise support.
I read something like 20,000 reports in recent years - probably 10 times more than anyone else in the Tower of ivory or 3 ;)
Good luck!

I haave had this since 2008 HP Pavilion desktop computer. It came with Win 7 Home installed, and Office Depot had upgraded to Win 7 Pro. I ran it without any problem of validation for more than three years now. Tuesday I'll be back for an appointment and the computer went to sleep. When he woke up normally, I found a 'Windows Activation Technologies' popup saying "this computer is not running genuine Windows". I tried the link "pay online now", but he ordered me to have to pay for a new facility. I do not want to do because my Windows has already been purchased and is valid for more than three years.
Then run Windows Genuine Advantage Diagnostic tool and it came true.

SSDT HPQOEM SLIC-CPCI ran full virus and malware scan with Avast Pro and Malwarebytes Pro and a complete diagnosis with Advanced System Care Pro tools that have always kept this system clean and stable. As expected, no malware, regular maintenance tasks only were delivered. It's been several days since the last time that I made no change to the system (I upgraded a utility) and the system has been rebooted at least four times after that without problem. The only other change was an update of Windows. Interestingly, after that same Windows Update on my machine Vista, it refused to start (BSOD) and I had to go back to a two days old restore point - that fixed it. I always had a mysterious problem with Win 7 Pro machine that it creates restore points, but I can never find, so I can't have this option on this computer.
I'm trying to start a new business and cannot afford to be without my computer, or do strange things, or buy a new copy of Windows and take the time to restore a careful configuration of three years. I when I recently bought a new laptop from Office Depot, I also bought a Windows 7 Pro upgrade kit and installed myself. When I did, I realized that the update CHANGES THE PRODUCT KEY and I knew not when they improved the office... they give me new product key for the Pro upgrade, so all I have is the original OEM key and apparently going to lose my Pro upgrade if I need to reimage from the disks in the system or the OEM partition. This is not acceptable, either, and I have no idea how to go about face. The transaction took place three years ago!
Please help; I'm already running on the razor's edge with the launch of this company. This error is likely to destroy me financially. I can't do what I need to do on the laptop - it is a low-cost, minimal machine and specifically, has no office and the ability to perform graphics... things cutting-edge software that I need to be able to do.
Click Start
in the search box, type
System restore
and press the Enter key
Once the system restore is displayed, click Next
Now put a check mark in the box "Show more restore points.
What points appear now?
If there is a just before your problem, try this.
If this isn't the case - as I say, CANCEL any act performed by ASC and uninstall it.
Then run another MGADiag report and post it.
