• Reset home folder permissions and the default ACL on macOS Sierra?

  A tool that I've used in the past to troubleshooting doesn't seem to be available in macOS Sierra.

  There was a procedure in el captain to reset the permissions of file and ACLs in start in recovery mode, by running the command terminal, resetpassword.  This command pulls up a GUI in Sierra as el cap but the "reset the user permissions and ACLs" option is no longer there.

  I upgraded to FF4 RC1 two days earlier and noticed that he was missing the button display the panorama and the firefox button, which is supposed to replace the file, edit, view menus etc. had not yet done. So basically, I'm still stuck with the buttons of the menu style FF3.

  If you hide the menu bar, you should get the Firefox button. That right-click on a toolbar and deselect the option "menu bar".

  For the Panorama button, right-click on a toolbar and then choose Customize to open the Customize toolbar window. Drag the "Groups of tabs" icon to the toolbar, then click done.

• Two questions .chw: HTMLHelp not generate, remove the old entries

  I'm here for my questions twice year. I appreciate you being here people.

  I'm generating HTMLHelp with RH 9, which I've recently updated. The project I'm working on that has a main project in which contents and indexes of several separate aid projects are brought together. This version is a simple reversal of a previous version which was in RH 8. I've generated chm files, sent them to developers, and the files are included in our software. (Development with nothing other than pulling in the software fusion files.) Now people test the software, and when they open the main help file and click on the index tab, the index does not appear. However, it works fine for me - I can't reproduce the problem. I noticed that after I installed the software and open the help index, the .chw for the main project file appears in the folder of the program to the current date. Testers have confirmed what I suspected, that the .chw file is not present in their facilities. As I said, it's a project of substitution (in addition to many years and many versions of HR). I have not seen that happen before. Why isn't the .chw implemented for testers? I guess the difference between us is seen RH 9 installed on my computer, but I'm not sure.

  Here is my second question .chw. There is an entry for an old topic in the index that appears still, even though the topic was deleted a long time ago. When I click on the entry, the topic appears somehow, but I have no idea where it came from. I went through all the files in each folder of the project and the topic isn't here (even if it is present in older versions of the project, which are located in different folders). I went through all the options in HR I could think. What other files pourrait HR hung where it could be stored? I have problems of this kind so rarely that I forget an incident to another, how the files work together and those who do.

• two hard drives, one with vista and the other with XP and you want to remove second disk XP

  I have a hard drive that came with my computer and vista on it, I added a second drive to my bench that has XP on it. I want to remove the second XP disc and simply use it as a storage drive, and I'm afraid that if I try and uninstall XP disc, it allows to uninstall vista of the first hard drive instead. or should I even try and uninstall it all and just delete all files? Since there is nothing in the registry for all the things on the second disc. If I uninstall XP second drive will be there remove all of that second drive? because there are a few things about this, I still want to keep. I should also mention that it is divided into three separate letters, if I do not uninstall XP I lose all three of these letters of partitioned drive? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

  You can just uninstall XP. Anyway, as you say, you can remove the folder Program Files and Windows in that partition but personally I would just copy the files I need to another partition (on the hard drive where vista is installed) and the format of the old HDD.

  Buy a laptop the year last Dell with VISTA. It won't let me partition (including shrinkage etc.). No matter where you go that it denied access, including loading the program. Search function I'm trying to understand for a year yet, I can't find.

  I want to explore the "Document and Settings", but access is denied.

  Finally, I gave up on VISTA now that I bought a XP Pro... Tried to format the drive it did not show me the hard drive.

  Direct booting from cd said that it found no hard drive to load. I am just desperate and sick of this VISTA. Please help to get rid of this OS.

  Come on first, site of the manufacturer of your computer, check to see if your model computer has XP drivers available for it...

  If the XP drivers are not available for your model, forget the idea.

  If Yes, download and save to a CD or Flash drive.

  Save all your data because it will be lost during the installation of XP.

  Then follow the steps below to do a clean install.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  I built my own systems since 1996, and in general, I would like to do two things... buy a copy of the sales at retail (for portability) and run it through up to 3 systems before you buy a new.  Usually my builds contain only a few new parts, that I update a couple of times a year.  I never had problems with Win 3.1, 95, 98, ME, XP or Vista.  In fact, I always have an original game of 3.5 "diskettes for Win 95 and CDs for 98 and XP.  in 2009, I bought a laptop that came with Win 7 Home Premium.  (A Toshiba Satellite A215).  I had to replace the HARD drive in this laptop and he had done professionally in a store (I was not familiar enough with laptop Desk computer architecture vs, so he had to) and technology has made a minor repair job and installed a HARD drive new, unformatted.  He then installed his own (OEM/System Builder multi-license) copy of Win 7 Pro and only charged me for installation costs ($49).  He was and still is active.  On my desk.  I built 1 system in the last years of 7 (built in 2014) I used a copy of the OEM System Builder from Win 7 HP x 64 SP1.  Time for a new building... from scratch.  I bought a single copy of the version of OEM Windows 7 Pro x 64 key to a sale to the retail/wholesaler. This will cause me any questions?  (I intend to upgrade to win before July 10 deadline, but I want to get all moved from the old system to the new system first) Once I have all my important files transferred, I'm decommissioned from the old system to use parts of upgrade of the wife (she has an old system of 11 years with Vista still on it) as long as the Build for his own use my old motherboard, can I transfer my license on his machine? This would include a change in CPU? (He currently has an AMD Athlon X 4 860 K, but I'm going at it in an APU A10-7850 matched with a suitable for Dual Graphics GPU)  All this work will invalidate the license.  The SSD containing my OS will be part of its upgrade of the system, as well as the motherboard.

  I'm extremely tech savvy, but am not a PC manufacturer or an authorized, I just take advantage of construction machinery.

  In regards to the OEM license , this would negate the 10 Windows upgrade license because he is no longer a qualifying previous base license that is required for the free update. Then, you will need to purchase a Windows 10 full retail license. If the license of basic (Windows 7 or Windows 8.1) qualification was a full retail version, then Yes, you can transfer it.

  Since the final Windows 10 user license agreement:

  b. autonomous software. If you acquired the software as a standalone software (and also if you upgraded the software you have purchased as a standalone software), you may transfer the software to a different device that belongs to you. You can also transfer the software on a device that belonged to someone else if (i) you are the first user under the software license and (ii) the user agrees to the terms of this agreement. • Questions about close cache events and the defeat strategy "ALL".

  I use near cache, and try to determine what defeat strategy would be better for me. My cards before being highly volatile, I'm considering strongly using the strategy of "EVERYTHING" for at least some of my caches.
  
  This brings me some questions about the event cache stream closely when the strategy using ALL:
  
  (1) should I expect an event to be published from the back cover when an element is added? (i.e. putAll() called cache before)
  (2) should I expect an event to be published from the back cover when an item is deleted? (i.e. remove() called cache before)
  (3) should I expect an event to be published from the back cover when an element is expelled from the rear because of size constraints?
  (4) should I expect an event to appear from the back cover when an element is expelled from the rear due to the expiry?

  Hi Tom,

  near cache before cards do not store the entries inserted in the back cover, so if you have saved a listener on the front plane, you will get the notification to the listener on the plan before all the inserts in the back cover of other nodes.

  It's a little different for entries that have been asked by the local node through the near cache (not directly on the distributed back cache). If the cache almost didn't get call so far, then they will not go into the front plane, so it's the same as if inserted directly into the back cover. It is the starting of the near cache behavior. After the first EEG puts will be cached in the front plane. Once that puts is cached in the front plane, then the listener before card will see put through the cache close to the same node, but not of other nodes.

  Also, the cache near registers a listener lite, so it becomes not the input values changed, as the keys.

  A listener that you entered on the back cover will see each insertion, if you do not save a MapEventFilter or a MapEventTransformer custom with the listener. A MapEventFilter can filter inserts away (I think, the cache similar to that, too).

One proposed condition is that we show our information in our records system. I ask here to learn more about the potential dangers. I noticed that in one sample screenshot, the ID of the product shows. That's my biggest concern. Can you confirm/deny it would be dangerous to put out this info to anyone?

  Software piracy comes in different forms, some more known than others. Each type of piracy is unique and often requires unique protection methods.

  Counterfeiting is a common form of piracy. Others include loading hard drive, Internet piracy and casual copying or softlifting. Casual copying is the sharing of software between people in a way that infringes on the Software EULA. An example of casual copying is if someone were to get a copy of Microsoft Office XP and load it on his PC, share it with another person who took on his PC, then share it with a third person who charged on his PC and so on. This form of piracy is widespread and represents a large part of the economic losses due to piracy. It is this form of piracy, casual copying, that Microsoft is mainly intended to reduce with Product Activation.

  OK, so my new set upward is a box of esxi with a virtual machine of win2k3. I have 2x1To hard drives and a 40 GB running the esxi and virtual machine of win2k3 data store.

  How could I make the win2k3 connect to the host's hard drive? can I do straight out or what? It will change the format?
