  You have a wireless router with some ports wired for computers?  Photosmart 7525 has a capacity of cable network.  Generally connect you computers wired to the router with CAT-5 connection and then connect the printer to the wireless router.  You would then install the drivers on each computer, specifying 'Wireless' for the connection.  The document here can help to set up the printer.

  You can try the upgrade/flashing the firmware on the router... Download the firmware from www.linksys.com/downloads and save it on the desktop... Opening of session in the Linksys GUI and click on the Administration tab... Click on the "firmware upgrade" sub-tab and choose the correct .bin file... click on upgrade... Wait a few seconds until it shows that "the update is successful," after the upgrade of the firmware, click on "Reboot" and you will be returned to the same page OR it will say 'cannot display the Page.

  Now, hold down the button to reset for 30 seconds... Release the reset button... Unplug the power cable from your router, wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cable... Now re - configure your router...

  Please check in the WLan settings if the TCP/IP protocol settings are set to automatic.

  Usually, the WLan router supports a range of IP addresses and assigns an IP address to the laptop of the range of IP addresses.

  There are two ways to achieve this. If you want your users to use their local ISP gateway, you will want to configure the tunneling split for the customer group. Split tunneling is configured on the router and identifies which networks should be protected by the tunnel.   I have a laptop HP with XP pro. I have a network with 2 computers laptops (Dell and HP), 1 office and 1 DP300U DLINK print server with a static IP address. I use a LINKSYS WRT110 router. Everything is connected through this router. I can ping ALL laptops, the office and the print server. I can access internet from all laptops and office. All THE MACHINES are in the same workgroup. Only from my DESKTOP (XP HOME), I can click on FAVORITES NETWORK, click VIEW group of WORK COMPUTERS and I can see the other compters and the print server. However, since my computer Dell laptop or HP LAPTOP (XP PRO) I can PING the router and the journal in it, all the other machines and print server but can NOT SEE THE OTHER COMPUTERS or ACCESS THE PORTABLE HP computer or the other laptop. I turned off all firewalls and firewall McAfee (PORTABLE HP computer) and still no joy. I think that there is a box ticked somewhere or the one that is checked and who should not, but I can't find out where it is or something else to look at. Any ideas would be appreciated.
