    Hi all

Could you please explain to me

If the creation of users and storage names began with numbers or _ $# is fine. Are there any constraints or slandered oracle. ?

After watching a few google links, I want to sum-up rule for the design of Tablespace:

    1. always create tablespace locally managed (management of the measure).

    2. never create tablespace with hundreds of small data files to avoid a slower recovery.

    3. the types of segments that are used in the same way must be stored together.

    4. the system must be designed for the most common usage.

    5. the regions should be exceptions.

6 feud among storage space should be kept to a minimum.

    7. the data dictionary must be isolated.

    8. always give a name to the tablespace; so it may be easy to know what contains this tablespace.

    9 http://webhelp.esri.com/arcgisdesktop/9.2/index.cfm?TopicName=Recommendations_to_minimize_disk_I/O_contention&anchor=iooracle

    10. never use quotation marks double tablespace name.

11 create the tablespaces explicitly using CREATE TABLESPACE rather than implicitly by creating a table without specifying a tablespace name.

    12. create an a tablespace less as temporary for user types.

13 specify the suffix ".dbf" for names of applications datafile, '.log' for log data file names.

    14. set the default storage parameters to take into account the size of the typical object.

15 specify PCTINCREASE 0. Exceptions can only be made with the approval of the Central s/n.

    16 AUTOEXTEND must be enabled.

    17 MAXSIZE must be set.

After posting the links to doc, I want to sum-up rule for the creation of the user:

    1. always follow "Requirements Minimum for passwords"
    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/B28359_01/network.111/B28531/authentication.htm#CHDFDHAJ

    2. never use double quotes with username and passwords.

3 assign a default Tablespace for the user.

4 assign a Tablespace Quota for the user.

5 avoid giving the ability for users to create objects in a table space, because the schema is the logical database for the user.

6 enable auditing for many reasons.

7 assign a temporary Tablespace for the user.

8 identify the appropriate profile and role to the user.

    9. only letters, numbers and the underscore character are allowed in names. Although Oracle allows for $ and the #, they are not needed and may cause unexpected problems.

    10. all names are uppercase. Or at least unimportant in which case. Ignoring this rule usually leads to making reference to the tables and the columns very clumsy because all names must be in double quotes.

    11. the first character of the name must be a letter.

    12. keep meaningful names, but at the same time, do not use long_names_describing_every_single_detail_of_particular_object.

  • Two (optimized and Original) iCloud libraries on the same mac.

    Hello

I have a 2015 MacBook Pro with 256 GB of storage, a drive NAS 3TO and 700 GB iCloud photo library. Currently I have a local library of Photos on the laptop with the Optmize storage option in the Photos, the originals are in the cloud. Is it possible to have a file of additional library with a complete copy (with the originals) of the same library iCloud on the NAS drive? The library on the laptop could store the optimized content and the library on the NAS stock originals of the same library iCloud?

    This way:

    1. I have a backup of the master files of the size if the library iCloud on the NAS in my house
    2. I would have a quick access to the full size of my files so at home - especially useful with videos
    3. I would have access to the photo library to iCloud on the laptop and other devices while outdoors and online
    4. While at home, I would have the ability to switch between libraries (optimized on the laptop, original on the NAS)- but both have the same content.

Could you let me know if it is by no means achieve this, please? And if so, how.

    See you soon

    None

1 - photo library can not be on a NAS - it can be on a local disk in Mac OS extended (journaled) format related to a wired ocnnection quick

    2. only the system library synchronizes with ICPL and you can have a library of the system by user - you have two accounts on a single Mac each with its own library to ICPL system synchronization then you might have a library on an external hard drive connected correctly locally in a single account and a local library optimized in another account

  • HP dv6700 windows vista Home premium. Two users and passwords are forgotten for the two.

    Hello

I'm stuck on the computer I just bought (used). Whenever I turn on the computer and come to the main screen, there are two names of peoples, it is David with a password, the other is Johnathan with a password. I bought the computer of David and his grandson Johnathan set both passwords and now dosen't Johanne remember passwords. I tried 'safe mode', but this shows just the same two names.

Is it possible to enter the operating system or is it possible to clear the passwords and start over? I don't have the recovery disks.

    Thank you.

It has an option to order a media recovery on your Support page > install HERE they are usually $17 and can be used to boot the machine and return it to the factory. This will make the machine as it came out of the box... no user account and no password.

  • Two users and wanting to know how to separate the access to documents and records.

I don't understand. IM only just beginning now to "Watch" certain things on this thing. I just want our documents, photos, Wallpapers etc. only accessible for our eyes. and ears.

Windows XP handles the issue you describe using separate 'user profiles' for each user of the computer.  The user profiles, which are defined as "limited user" (rather than a "computer administrator) cannot see other users ' documents.

See How to create and configure the user accounts in Windows XP

If you both already use one user profile, you need to move some documents.  This must be done by connecting to a user profile with computer administrator privileges (in order to access the files in the two accounts).

You must also define an account with computer administrator privileges (save the built-in account named 'Administrator' only for emergency purposes).  Who has access to the computer administrator account will have access to all files on the computer.

  • My iPhone storage is full, but not storage iCloud

In fact, it's iPhone to my wife who has the problem. IPhone storage is full, but its storage iCloud has plenty of space. How can she manage her regular iPhone storage?

iPhone and storage iCloud are not connected somehow. She will have to remove the content from his phone.

  • Don't turn off the misdeeds of the option of backup (storage iCloud) the application or at the end upward in a data loss?

I'm having a total allocated 5Gig my storage space, in my iPhone5s (16 GB, last update 9.3.2). I have backups for like almost most of my applications. So I tried entering space by turning off backups, for some of the apps. Now who will be harmful?

In other words, for example say I have backup for WhatsApp and then turning off, I'm freeing storage space. So once I have turn off backup, what actually happens? It does not store messages or conversations in the cloud?

Adding to the question above, what is the difference of the backup power off and removing documents and data out of the app?

    Any help would be appreciated.

To your first question: no backups in iCloud means that if you don't back up your device with iTunes on your laptop, an accident or problems, you will not be able to recover your data and your data will be lost. But turn it off doesn't cause any loss of data, that you are prompted if you want to keep what you have in your device or not (always answer ' keep on my iPhone ")

Secondly, the removal of the information from the application deletes your progression of game, or Safari bookmarks, or attached or any other app login information. It deletes the data on your device.

  • Photos: storage iCloud and sync

MacBook 12 "El Capitan to run: I would like to add, delete and edit old and new photos on two iPhones, an iPad, and perhaps MacBookAir my husband (who also manages El Capitan) I 14 000 pictures in my library, the vast majority of them is from iPhoto.   Problems if I turn on iCloud photo library on my MacBook12?  And other devices?    How much storage iCloud I might need to buy?

What is your iPhoto, as shown in the finder library?

    Your options are

Select who will take your library and expand when you add new photos.

Note: for you husband to use the same Photo to iCloud library it should be connected to the same Apple/iCloud ID and would thus, share the same e-mail account, contacts, messages, etc...  It's probably not what you want.

To share photos online can use the family Plan.  In this way each of you can continue to use your own Apple identifiers.

  • Import photos to Mac and not to resume storage iCloud

    Hello

I recently bought my first computer Apple (MacBook Pro).

I have (approximately) 4 GB of photos stored on Google Photos I thought to download on my MacBook Pro.

Is there a way to download these pictures on my MacBook without taking up valuable storage iCloud, which I realize would mean that they are not visible on my other Apple devices.

I know that I could increase my iCloud storage capacities by buying more storage, but I thought I'd ask anyway...

    Thank you very much

    Tom

    Two possibilities:

Download them to your Mac, but don't import them into the Photos on your Mac application.

    or

import them into a second photo library and ensure that he is not the one designated as the photo library of the system:

  • My iPhone and Mac all have two Photos related to iCloud, same images appear on both. How to remove pictures from the phone without removing them from the Mac

I've shared pictures between my Mac and iPhone using iCloud. Recently downloaded about 1800 brother SmugMug account family photos. Subsequently discovered that they had all been loaded on my phone as well. When I try to delete them from my phone, I get a message the suggests that if I do, the photos will be removed from my Mac was fine. How can I remove the phone and let the Mac intact?

I've shared pictures between my Mac and iPhone using iCloud.

    What iCloudService do you use?

    • If the iPhone and the Mac are synchronized with iCloud photo library, removal of the photos from the iPhone will remove them from the Mac as well.  iCloud photo library is a synchronization service that will ensure that you see the same pictures on all devices. All change at will the timing and any deletion or any import.  To win the storage on the iPhone allow the iCloud Photos setting "Optimize Storage.
    • If photos have been synced with my photos and not iCloud library stream, you can remove them from the iPhone. They must stay in the library on your Mac. But before a massive deletion on any device, make a backup of your photo library, just to be sure.
  • should I get the 32 gig and increase storage icloud or get the 128 gig?

Should I get the 32 gig and increase storage icloud or get the 128 gig?

iCloud can't complete really the iPads of storage on board. You can't have apps to run from iCloud, you can't the films played to iCloud, etc...

If you plan to use more than the 32GBs go for bigger sizes.

  • Copy users and hashes of password between two servers that does not use AD

    Hello

We have two servers running Windows 2008 R2, but because we run AD on two of them, I need to find a way to copy the users to the users group to the other server remote desktop and duplicate the hashes thus.

Any ideas? No user file or parameter must copy.

It is better that I do not have need to install AD on one of them and only for the purpose of copying users and hashes
