  How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

  Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

  In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

  See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

  Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

  Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

  You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

  They will tell you how to do this.

  Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.

  Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).

  The [NONE] you're referring to means that there are has file extensions associated with things such as Audio CDs, disks and DVDs.

  A "file extension" is the 3-(4-parfois) part of a file name that comes after the period character.  For example, in "Document.doc" file extension is doc.

  Made settings were - as you noted correctly - in the AutoPlay dialog box.  These settings determine what Windows does when a removable storage device is connected.  Depending on the type of multimedia content detected on the device, you can choose from a variety of "Manipulative Autoplay" to deal with this content.

  "Take no action" is not a bad default.

  Did you uninstall the trial versions of software antivirus which have been replaced (unless your new Windows installation was a "clean install")?

  You have a laptop by chance? Looks like you're accidentally hit the touchpad with your finger and therefore the development of switching away without realizing it. Its similar to the problem people have when the slider appears 'magical' jump to somewhere else than where they type. If it's happening that the only real cure is to disable the Touchpad and external mouse (which is what most people do).

  If it is what do you want / need for instructions to disable the touchpad? Post here with what I can do for you.
