  Are what link you referring?

  If you talk about the path in your settings, if the pre-installed Word Substitution is NOT in the list, then certainly it will not work.

  I have a weird problem, at least the conventional shortcuts and keyboard Passport appear to be pulled duty twice even if pressed once, for example:

  This excerpt would be the fire _app.muteOutputVolume (); twice in half a second (roughly what testers told me), even with other functions, but fine when using the Trackpad or touchscreen.

  Last idea.  Accidentally hide the SMS/MMS icon?  On the main screen, click on the BB button and click on "show all".  If you have not all the hidden icons, you will see "show all".

  We decided that it was better to build new by using web applications.

  Having been without painful IE6 browser for the month of last18 or so, I was appalled to hear of a user of IE6 (still 25% of our user base) the layout for the career site of the left and Center div elements were not lined up horizontally. It works fine in IE7, FF2, Safari 3, Opera etc.
  
  I'm sure this is a simple hack or obvious omission of CSS on my part - without visibility to IE6, it is very difficult to solve the problems that I did wrong

  Obviously, margin/padding has something to do with it.

• I can't tag friends on Facebook by typing in their names

  In Firefox for my office (Linux Mint), I am able to enter a person's name and mark in a message or a comment. For example, when I type in my wife's name he his tag in the post/comment and her report just him in a message/comment. I am also able to do it on Facebook using Chrome for Android mobile site. Unfortunately this behavior does not occur in Firefox on my Android phone.

  I thought it might be my modules (I use Adblock Edge and Ghostery), but I uninstalled both and I always feel the same behavior (or lack thereof).

  I found a way to solve this problem. Install the add-on false (which allows to change the user-agent string) and set the Firefox OS user agent string. Then re-load Facebook mobile site. You should be able to tag people by entering their name now.

  So it doesn't seem to be a JS issue, it seems to be how Facebook makes the site for Firefox for Android. If do you think that you use something else (for example Firefox OS) it renders properly.

  Apple hardware test does not on macbook pro or macbook, 2010, 2010. Both run 10.1 and 10.10, respectively. Wielding D in power does not launch apple hardware test as advertised. s he is weaned something special to do?

• How iTunes will include marketing / given blank media library?

  Scenario: an accident is stupid enough, I formatted the disk external USB I said iTunes to store all its media (using iTunes preferences). Since I got the vast majority of the data from the formatted disk (Stellar Phoenix to the rescue). It includes: music I ripped from CDs, movies I ripped the DVD, "digital copies" when it was a thing, as well as everything I bought on iTunes. It is NOT in the original folder structure and file names are still the same. It is also worth noting that I have iTunes game.

  Question: iTunes is going to do when I start it? It has been closed since the show. I intend that it points to an array of newly purchased raid an external USB 3 and my hope is that iTunes will:

  • Let me download all my music.
  • Let me download all my purchased movies (and books, apps, etc.).
  • Alow me to identify the location of the missing files, including the DVD rippe.

  .. and all this together on the new external drive.

  Is anyone able to confirm the desired behavior, or lack thereof? And someone has any advice... ?

  For the curious, iTunes behaves as desired. With the intact library (on my local hard drive), it simply could not find the corresponding files - but it did not cause of aberrant behavior.

  I am able to download "all" my music (although it comes out of the music was not in iTunes game - particularly my old DRM'ed iTunes purchases), all my movies purchased and all my TV shows purchased. iTunes prompts me to "locate" the files that were missing for individual items, so it'll be a job from me to re - associate my DVD rippe and 'digital copies. I can also re - associate some of my old music of DRM'ed, but it's a little, so that could get ugly.

• Sync is... do not sync. (several platforms, one does not work, others are fine).

  I have a Macbook that I have Windows dualboot with, these two sync properly. Just installed FF on iMac a friend and enacted the sync very well, all the boxes have been checked (tabs, Favorites, settings, etc.).

  I click on sync and one of two things happen: the synchronization icon turns blue and spin * quickly * or it won't do anything.

  I never have any sort of error, and I never get any kind of indicator about his progress (or lack thereof), which is incredibly useless.

  Huh. Jumped on my laptop, open upwards and firefox under Tools-> synchronization, there were some that tools-> reconnect Sync (or something like that).

  I clicked it and the page was in * Spanish *. Wat.

• Satellite Pro A40 works now painfully slow

  Hi all, I have a satellite pro a40 which has served me well for a long time here.

  Although it runs painfully slow, now all the programs, including the internet despite my speed of 4 MB.

  I have zone alarm that made regular virus and spyware scans, I tried to defrag and disk clean up but not of the above solve the problem long term.

  Short of ideas, if anyone out there can suggest a remedy? Thank you.

  There are a few things you can try to improve the speed of your A40 - I guess you're talking about the speed (or lack thereof!) to which your laptop seems to be tasks such as opening new windows, programs etc.?

  The first thing to do is to look at the list of all programs start; Uninstall anything you don't need really or use is a good way of clutches back disk space (Windows uses hard disk as 'virtual memory' space to supplement the RAM mounted inside).

  The next thing to do is look at what programs are started in the background when you start Windows. To do this, click Start, then run and type msconfig. In the window that opens, click on the start right tab and you will see a drop-down list of all the programs that start with Windows. Without recognition program names, it may be best to leave them because they can be processes required by Windows. Uncheck all the programs you want to start automatically the next time you turn on the computer. When you are done, click on save and you will be prompted to restart the A40 for the changes to take effect.

  It is perhaps that a new installation of Windows is needed to delete all the temporary files and the old registry entries that have accumulated to over time, in which case backup all your data before running the recovery disc.

  One last thing to consider is the weather you may qualify for an upgrade memory HDD largest capacity, which are both reasonably good solutions worked for a slow running computer.

• 10.11.3 OSX download failure

  I tried to download OSX 10.11.3 twice.  Both times, it gives a message saying it could not be verified that all parties have not been downloaded, etc..

  Downloads went smoothly (40 minutes), and the two failed with the same message.

  10.11.3 is a beta program. under the terms of this EULA, we can only discuss feature or lack thereof in the developer forums.

  That being said disable and uninstall completely from all managers of DL, any software that "cleans your mac", "keeps you mac" and/or no matter what antivirus you have on the system.

• A30 w/ATI Mobility Radeon graphics adapter use Shader Model 2?

  I have Windows XP sp3 on my A30. Try to install something for my son, but he says that it is unable to run because it requires a graphics card that supports Shader Model 2.

  Are there new drivers that would work?... is .or impossible for me to hope for this configuration supports Shader Model 2?

  ATi Radeon 7000, which has been used in the units of the A30 is * very * long in the tooth by today's standards and there is not much that can be done on its performance or lack thereof.

  The 'latest' driver's eight, according to IBM/Lenovo:

  These machines are still OK for light use of navigation and office, the GPU is still their biggest bottleneck.
