U3415W, coming Pro 11, docking station, connection problems

Hello

I held my 11 and dock works well with an old VGA Dell monitor connected with a converter. I received my pretty curved bright yesterday plugged U3415W computer screen while via HDMI and the screen shows no DP connection despite the place recognizing the U3415W is there.

I was on the support forums and downloaded all the latest drivers and bios updates, but this still does not work. I even tried plugging the place directly to the monitor and it does not work either where it points to a fault with the dock- but it was working fine yesterday morning with the old monitor.

Please HELP before I have a nervous breakdown watching this magnificent display of (empty)!

If you connect to the U3415W through its # HDMI 3 port =

You must open the OSD (On Screen Display) U3415W, choose the input Source, check the HDMI.

  • X 1 Pro OneLink docking station and carbon (2014)

    Hello

I have a X 1 carbon and an among Pro platform. I have it configured with evey thing works, no problem whatsoever.

My concern is that when the laptop is fully charged when you are connected to the dock, is it possible to switch to the battery while remaining connected to the docking station in order to use the monitor extrnal, ethernet and usb ports etc?

What I noticed is that even when the battery is charged to 100%, the dock guard charge that the battery does not fall below 100% and in the long term it will reduce the battery life.

    Thank you.

    1. go on ThinkVantage Power Manager.

    2. click on the tab of the battery, then battery maintenance.

    3. in the load Mode section select custom load threshold.

4 set the thresholds to start charging when below for example 40% and stop loading with for example 80%.

I did it on my X12C with docking station OneL:ink. I know it works because it stops the battery to the superior threhold. Then, I can see the charge decrease slowly over time to the low threshold.

    Hey @Roberto_ITALY,

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

I understand that you are unable to claim your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw in your account ePrint Center due to a connection problem. I would like to help.

I don't see this particular error with password resets from time to time. I have a workaround that can clear up this place for you:

    • Click here. This will bring you to <www.snapfish.com >. As the Snapfish site is linked directly with ePrint Center and HP connected, you can try to reset your password as follows - click the connection icon and then "forgot your password":

    • Enter the e-mail address that you use to connect to the ePrint Center and click on submit.
    • You should receive a message of automatic reset of password by email - the reset as expected before and then try to use this new password to Snapfish to connect downtown ePrint.
    • If this does not solve your problem of access ePrint Center, please call our Cloud Services to 855-785-2777. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number.

  • Tecra 9100: Installation of the printer with docking station connected

I have a Tecra 9100 with a docking station that run under WIN - XP SP1. Trying to install my printer, an Epson 740 with USB connection, I found that I need to create 2 entries for the same printer, 1 environmental off-STATION and 1 for MOORING environment, known as the XXX (1 copy). Is this normal or have I done something wrong.

This is different from my old Portege that keeps the 2 hardware profiles, 1 connected uindocked and 1, and there is only 1 entry in the Printers folder.

Also, if I unplugged the printer from the docking station and later taking again on another USB port,
He will ask reinstall me the printer again.

Thanks for any comments from anyone.

I have Tecra M1 and use it on the same port replicator as you have your 9100. The same happen to me if I want to use the webcam on different USB ports. Use it on the same there is no message but using the second port he asks the driver.

It seems to be normal. :)

  • e7240 & docking station resolution problem

I have my e7240 connected to a PR03X docking station. My screen (Samsung U28D590) has a recommended resolution of 3840 X 2160, but when I am connected to the via Display Port, then the maximum available resolution is 2560 x 1440.

I have the latest drivers installed Intel. Any ideas why I can't get the full resolution.

Hi, I have the same laptop and I have some disappointing news - Intel's HD4400 cannot handle 4K of the HDMI 1.4 port or DP 1.2. This is set out on page care Intel for processor, whether it is the ultrabook i5 or i7 series. Dell it has capped at QHD I think on the software side, although the integrated graphic card should be able to get out a maximum of 3200x2000@60Hz.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Ultraslim docking station: connection HP ultraslim docking station with 2 external monitors

Hi, I plan to donate a station host and two monitors to my husband so that he may set up a job at home for its HP Elitebook 840. I would be very grateful if someone can tell me if the HP Ultraslim to home station is compatible with monitors that I have chosen, the dell U2414H. its specifications are 2 connectors HDMI MHL, 1 mini dp 1 dp 1. 2 a, 1 dp MST, 4 USB 3.0 downstream ports and 1 upstream.

Could someone tell me if I can put in place two of them with the docking station HP Ultraslim, what is the compatibility and what extra cables or adapters, I will need to make them compatible.

    Thanks a ton.

Do you know what version of the HP Ultraslim Docking station you have? There are a few specific changes with regard to the 2013 generation from the dock where the docking station has 2 DisplayPorts x instead of an earlier version that had a display port and a VGA.

If you have the later generation of 2013 docking station and 2 x DisplayPorts, these monitors should be fine. And you should of course two displayport cables to use with monitors (screens could come with them, but very sure they do).

The 2013 model looks like this (2 ports to the right of the network socket):

    http://ECX.images-Amazon.com/images/I/61ZSGNoW0sL._SL1500_.jpg

Whereas the old model looks like this (one DisplayPort, next to the network socket):

    http://content.hwigroup.NET/images/products_xl/172474/HP-UltraSlim-docking-station.jpg

If the monitors do not come with cables, I highly recommend Monoprice.com as your source for people or ALL wiring. The link below is for 3 feet of long cables, but according to available to his office, you can cable of 6 to 10 feet. Below is an example:

    http://www.MonoPrice.com/product?P_ID=13359

WARNING: I have seen several users posts on the forums here and outside hp directly complain that there are a number of questions using 2 monitors x DisplayPort, even with the 2013 version of the dock. There is firmware available for the dock updates that help. I wanted to just throw that out there because he's hit ' n Miss as to whether they work with multiple monitors, and because these screens have no VGA option, you cannot workaround to use VGA and DisplayPort (instead of 2 x DisplayPort) to make it work.

I use Latitude D430 Laptop & Windows XP. Initially, it is ok, but after some time I have a connection problem. I have run the diagnostics & "Radio Test" failed. Any idea about this problem? • Satellite Pro C870-1E2 - internet connection problem Proxy Server not responding

My old Toshiba computer connects to the internet via a numbered port,
yet my new Toshiba Satellite Pro C870 1E2 connects to the internet through a proxy server.

Why I ask because this morning when I started, I was unable to connect to the internet and all that appeared on the screen was the message "Proxy Server not responding."

When I tried the old computer connected instantly he had to wait a long period of time before that the "proxy" got it's act together.

    Advice please?

    > Why I ask because this morning when I started, I was unable to connect to the internet and all that appeared on the screen was the message "Proxy Server not responding."

And why you think you ve you have a problem with the Satellite laptop? I understand the original message: the Satellite acts as client.
In my eyes there is a problem with the proxy server, and this should be checked first.
Its almost impossible to tell which could affect the proxy, but as a first step, a reboot would be desirable.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8500 a909g wireless connection problem

I have a printer wireless OfficeJet Pro 8500 a909g. My PC is Windows 7 (64-bit). Recently, the printer wasn't working reliably and we took to reboot our router frequently at the same time. Router problems seem to be solved because my PC at home and the work laptop are well connected and running. However, the printer would not work last night when I really needed. The documents would appear in the queue, but never reach the printer. Today, I uninstalled all the software of HP using the CD of origin and reinstalled all the latest software and drivers from hp.com. Of course, I rebooted the printer several times during this process. Using the Network Wizard wireless via the screen of the printer, I am able to locate my SSID and enter the WPA key. The printer confirms that it is connected to the network.

If my computer and printer are both connected to the same network why can't the HP software locate the printer? Whenever I try to run the installation/Setup program it tells me that there is no HP printer on the network. As I said, this printer has worked on this wireless network in the past. I also downloaded and run the scan HP and difficulty of the program to see if she could solve the problem without success.

    Any other suggestions?

Well, what I'm going to make you, it's just a basic uninstall and reinstall the printer. I'll describe the steps and you are right, we can use the USB > wireless Assistant. You can access that by running the software after the installation of the USB. Here are my steps...

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it. Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

The START menu type "%temp%" and press on ENTER. Here, I want you to press Ctrl+A and press on REMOVE. Some files you cannot delete them, ignore these files and delete the majority that allows it to.

Follow this link to download full feature software and drivers of the printer:

Install and let me know the result!

In addition, here is how you set a static IP address: allocating an address static IP to your printer of HP Wireless - Windows 7 - YouTube

Is what model of laptop exactly?

Have you installed Windows yourself? Or it was preinstalled?

Looks like it's a software problem, bad drivers USB can at fault.
