UK iTunes store with French has charged to the credit card?

Hello

We are British who live abroad and we rely on our technology to Apple to keep us sane. Our headquarters for Apple (billing, etc.) is and has always been a UK address.

Until recently, we still had a beak UK credit card but finally we had to go to the France. For a while, he continued to work. But recently for the first time the card is rejected by Apple, and now (of course) if we try to put the old UK address for the card it gets has decreased, however we can not put the new (French) address for the card when our address for billing etc (and allow us to continue to use the UK iTunes store) is the United Kingdom. It seems to be a dead end.

If I understand well if if we switch to the French iTunes store we lose all our content?

However if we continue with our address registered UK and our UK iTunes store and all our content, we can no longer buy anything without a UK registered credit card.

We are probably not the first people to address this issue. What if anything can do us?

Thank you

D & M

You will not lose any content that you have downloaded on your Mac and the backup of your library of downloads / (or other computer/iOS devices), you will not be able to (potentially) to re-download the.

If you put the France as a country on your account and your address of France on your account (change your iTunes Store country or region - Apple Support), you should be able to add this map to your account (assuming it meets the validation of iTunes). A credit card bank issued French can only be used with the iTunes store in France (and similarly for cards issued by banks in other countries).

While you're in France you can only use the Bank of France, you have to be here in the United Kingdom using the UK store - being in a country belongs to the Bank terms, Apple can (and) permanently disable accounts for violation of these terms.
