• Windows 7 Ultimate does not recognize the Tungsten E2

  After that I've upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate, Windows does not recognize my Tunsten E2 cable into the USB port.  I went to Device Manager to search for a triangle in order to use Aceeca.  However, there is no triangle.

  I tried using a USB key into the USB port and it worked perfectly.  However, when I tried my cable of tungsten, it's as if nothing happened in the USB port.  No recognition by Windows at all.

  Any viable solution would be much appreciated.

  FYI: I got it working.  However, there are a few things that had to be done.

  1. clean unlock it.

  2. go to regedit and make sure that all records of palm have disappeared.

  3. after cleaning regedit, I cleaned the registry again.

  4. disconnected from the USB port.

  5. restarted my computer.

  6. USB connection back into the port.

  7. follow the signs to Aceeca.

  8. everything works.

  I upgraded OS and installed the drivers. All the drivers are fine looking, except I get the error in the network and Communications PCI controllers controller driver. Can someone please help me get the correct drivers? For this reason, I am not able to connect to the wireless network.

  When trying to install motorola Ralink wireless driver adapter bluethoot, Iam getting error "Bluethoot material must be enabled before installing the driver for this" and attending Wireless it is showing people with disabilities and showing willnot be able to from here. However, blue LED on F12 is on and I couldn't find an option to turn on a wireless device in the BIOS. Not sure that these problems are related?

  I need to view the ID of the hardware for the network controller (you can copy and paste text directly from Device Manager), so I can post the link to the drivers for it.

  Go to Device Manager, then click on the network with the small yellow controller! Select this option.

  Then follow these instructions to find the hardware ID.

  The hardware for a Windows device id is located in the Windows Device Manager. To check the hardware for a device id, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Device Manager in the Control Panel. You can also type "devmgmt.msc" in the run option in the Start menu.
  2. In Device Manager, right click on the device and select Properties from the context menu.
  3. Then, select the Details tab.
  4. Now select the hardware ID in the drop-down list.

  A clean install on my HDX9004TX went almost incident free with the following exceptions:

  • Screen of the drafts intermittently for a few seconds and notice advises "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered."

  This should allow you to get your quicklaunch bar work. It would be able to tell me where you have installed the driver of th on your display problem? Was it through the ATI, HP Web site or through Windows Update?

  Also have you tried to do Windows Update to see if there is any updated driver there?

  New on the HP community and I must say I am impressed. I just bought an A6660T with Vista Ultimate 64 bit edition desktop computer. I talked to a very competent sales representative. He informed me that after I received the system, I could call Technical Support and the requisition of the re - install Vista Ultimate 64 bit dvd for $30. Has anyone done that? The reason I ask, I want to do my own clean install of the o/s, the recovery disks will not be enough for me. I believe that HP has these records on-site. I appreciate all the comments and look forward to a great experience here on the HP Forum!

  Welcome to the forums! I can't wait to start your experience here with a negative, but the game you order from HP is the same as the recovery set, you can burn using Recovery Manager on your computer. HP is not the finish plain Vista install DVD for class of consumer machines.

  The sales representative may have thought class machines business, which I guess still has this option as they did on XP machines.
