• Compatibility problem of motherboard with the new GPU [h8-1214]

  I tried to upgrade my GPU [gtx 560] to a [ti gtx 780] and it seems that when I install my end card higher than my computer [h-8 1214] won't go past the splash screen.

  I already did to try to fix things:

  -Power supply is adequate and bronze certified (750w)

  -Update my BIOS

  -try a different card (gtx 770) video

  You are right.  It's a motherboard problem.  Your new video card requires the UEFI Firmware in the motherboard, instead of the standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.

  I suggest that you contact the maufacturer Technical Support to see if they have a VBIOS update that will work with your computer.

  Hi Ive had a big problem on my computer hp pavilion dv6-3143sa laptop. It crashed last month and I put it in a computer store to find the problem.

  They told me that my motherboard and cpu had crashed. I wonder if LC for a card replacement mother & cpu because the laptop is still in good condition.

  The laptop would start to load but then I'd get a light flashing on the power button on the laptop and it would just keep blasting away and overheating.

  Any help would be great.

  According to the description provided, looks like you are facing a hard time with the slot machines and the parameters of the system motherboard.

  Since the issue is some of the equipment unfortunately Microsoft is not able to help you, but you can contact the manufacturer or the dealer, even if they are unable to correct the problem of motherboard then you will need to contact the Tech shop and have it repaired.

  I figured out, that there are a lot of different boards with the same layout but different p / n around the world...

  Here's my question (confused):
  Is it possible to replace the card with maybe P000435380 or P000456590 without problems?
  Motherboards seems to have exactly the same layout and chipsets, that I could see on some images...

  There is a good offer in eb * y for the P000435380 and I don't want to throw this one really nice but old... ;)

  I asked "Uncle google" and some sellers, but nobody knows...

  Then I found this forum here and this is my last hope :D

  Would be nice if someone can give me a hand with this dilemma...

  I believe that. It is not easy to get the info. Who knows how it works and what can be done is Toshiba service provider. They have access to the database of Toshiba s and know what are the parts can be used with some laptop models.

  I know, it's that Tecra M4 was offered with two platforms. One with PTM40E part number and another number PTM42E but it is not a big difference so I think that if you buy a motherboard for M4, it should be the right one. You come from Germany so order the part to the European model, and I think that you can not do something wrong.

  This is my first post here/first Toshiba number after owning my laptop for about 4 years!

  I have a big problem with my Equium p300-190, with a Li-ion battery.

  You have an older model of Toshiba, then perhaps internal Cmos battery maybe got pretty empty, too.

  I don't think that your power supply has a problem, as you can see a light going ON, on your laptop. I suggest you remove the power cable from your laptop, remove the battery, too (push the cover on the side, so he's going to jump out of your laptop).

  Now, without any connected power source, push the button to empty completely the remains of your laptop. Leave your laptop or else be plugged on it for an hour or two, and THEN reconnect your diet. It can show a message on the screen that the "RTC checksum is false", ignore her and start your computer normally. You will need to set the time through the windows again.

• Satellite C650 problem battery charge.

  Hard to say. First of all I recommend you check the version of the BIOS.
  Do not forget that your BIOS is up to date.

  But have you noticed this problem since the first day of use?
  Theoretically, the battery must be detected even if the battery is dead so I m wondering why the battery led is not ON. If the battery could be charged, the indicator must light up orange. If the battery is fully charged, the indicator should switch to blue.

• HDD problem Lenovo G460

  Bought a Lenovo G460 comes with Windows 7 Home Premium only for more than a year. Ran fine with occasional BSOD who disappeared with a soft reboot.

  try to remove the battery, disconnect the power supply, press the power button / stop for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.

• Aspire 4736G Power on problem

  Help! My Aspire 4736 G just won't turn on properly until several times. Once this light and Windows is loaded, it works fine as usual. But, when I reboot / restart it goes thru the same power cycle a lot on trying it again.

  Went through the following:

  1. on battery power. Press the Power button. System attempts to load and powers off abruptly at the Windows loading screen. Subsequent attempts with the recovery screen Windows error in first and when to start Windows normally option is selected, it will attempt to load Windows. After several tries it finally will load and operate normally.

  2. the adapter on without battery. Same results as (1) above.

  3. on battery alone without power adapter. System appears in the running, as the CPU fan is active but the screen is blank.

  Advice appreciated.

  P/S: I think that it's always the battery, but since I replaced new - that shouldn't be a problem. I also tried to reset the components of the battery under the Device Manager, but nothing helped.

  "Solution" after some research. It seems that the Aspire series is subject to problems of motherboard. In my case it was a component that manages the power supply on the motherboard - while it has allowed the battery to charge again - the market is difficult to achieve.   Please note that if this Windows 7 Professional license came preloaded with the ASUS machine, you can not upload it because it is an OEM license. OEM licenses have no transfer rights. If it is a license purchased retail store, then you can transfer them.

  Last night, I spilled water on top of my alienware desktop computer. I quickly shutdown, unplugged and held head down for awhile. First time I turned it back on, it gave me the "amount of memory has changed, but none has been added" problem. I went through system troubleshoot (F5 I think) and had everything to the point where it asks if you want to continue for 30 minutes. I skipped that and restarted. Second time I turned on my computer, it loaded all regularly, logged into my account, desktop screen with files, etc. Then he went straight to the screen of closing and began to beep, in the explosion of two. Whenever I try to start, stuck to the error page "the amount of memory" with two beeps.
