  Based on your description, I would say that POP-UP on the laptop would work well for you, but use the IMAP protocol on the phone, etc. Note that we can not give you the choice with the phone; the email clients on mobile devices tend to IMAP by default anyway.

  I would advise against POP on your "secondary" devices because if you download a message to one of them and you decide to keep also on the laptop, you will need to find a way to transfer to the laptop. With IMAP automatically would remain available for the laptop too. And the message will disappear eventually from the phone, after having supported by the laptop, so you will not have the additional job of removing of the phone. According to my experience, the phones stop working because they are filled to the top, and you don't want to aggravate it simply to store e-mail on the subject unnecessarily.

  I am using a 8 GB Mac Mini with an i5 processor clocked at 2.6 GHz Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 (14F27).

Since that unfortunate activity, I get mackeeper pop ups and my search engines by default on all my browsers like Safari, Firefox and chrome automatically replaced by trovi. I can't access to 90% of websites like YouTube except facebook, twitter, Netflix, gmail, google, yahoo and other email clients. I get a "cannot connect" on firefox and messages error 'Safari cannot connect to the server. I checked with the ISP settings and proxy but no problem there as my other devices such as the ipad and the iphone apple work fine on the same wifi network. I erased all the extensions, cookies and cache but without success.

  I am also unable to access the app store to install applications. I wanted to make its own memory and a removal of the malware, but couldn't that since the appstore could not contact the server.

  I mainly use this machine for audio production and browsing through Logic Pro X.

  What is a malware problem? If so, how to fight that? Should I format my HD and upgrade to El Capitan? Who will solve the problem?

  Forever? Doubtful that many would be useful.

  You can save them to RTF or export them as PDF. If there are attachments, you will need to save those separately.
