  I think I solved the problem...

  As I wrote previously, I disabled the back loop check in the registry on both nodes, create a new DWORD (32 bit) key...
  HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\DisableLoopbackCheck - with a value of 1

  Then, I made sure that the link speed & Duplex on all network interfaces are set to a specific value (no Autonegotiation), for example. 1000 Mbps Full Duplex (in my case).
  Ideally only the NIC - on each node - connected to the NETWORK load balancing must be configured with hard values.

  This solved the RPC error in my environment of NLB.

  Hope this helps those who have the same symptoms.

• How can I keep a connectivity when the DNS server is not available?

  We have remote locations with several computers that are joined to our domain via a gateway to gateway VPN. When VPN breaks down, they lose the connection to our CD/DNS server. Their ip addresses remain the same, since they are managed by their local router but they failed to connect to other devices to their location even though the devices have static IP addresses. If I understand the use of the LMhosts file must allow me to allow them to keep local communications between computers. I think the entry in LMHOSTS should be like this for each local machine they need to access.

  I want to install a new Nagios Plugin which is basically a Perl script that connects to an ESXi host. I had problems so that it connects and I wonder what is happening.

  I tried to connect to the host using the connect.pl of my CentOS 6 box, and I receive the following error message...

  I can manually navigate to this address, but I can't seem to connect using the Perl script.

  I've seen a lot of suggestions on the addition of {PERL_LWP_SSL_VERIFY_HOSTNAME} $ENV = 0; at the beginning of your scripts, but this doesn't seem to work.

  I also tried to type in export PERL_LWP_SSL_VERIFY_HOSTNAME = 0 in the shell, and it solves nothing. Do not know what is happening.

  The issue could be with the environment in the Nagios configuration (maybe the value is crushed or not picked up in a later step).

  Try upgrading Crypt::SSLeay.  There are a few versions were some changes have been added to change the management of self-signed certificates (so all the messages on the use of PERL_LWP_SSL_VERIFY_HOSTNAME).  I have not seen the problem with newer versions of the modules.

  For example, Crypt::SSLeay:VERSION = 0.57 is a bit old (~ 2007).  Under OSX, I'm running the 0.64 version and is no longer necessary for the PERL_LWP_SSL_VERIFY_HOSTNAME when running VMware Perl SDK tools.  I also haven't seen on newer Perl install versions (for example 5.16).  0.64 seems to be the current version of the production, and I suppose the upgrade, it might solve the problem.

  Have you set the connectid and the connectid Word both in configuration manager (pscfg.exe)?
  Are you able to connect to the database with the people of the user? And be connected with people, able to interview PSSTATUS, PSACCESSPRFL, and PSOPRDEFN (prefixed by the name of the owner of the tables)?

  Interestingly, I tried to activate MS Reader on my HD2 tonight in preperation to give to my girlfriend (I'm getting a feeling tomorrow, she has several seldomly but I hope she'll get into the Kindle as the HD2 duel boots into Android).

  My laptop is running W7 Pro with IE9, I'm a domain administrator.

  Race through the activation that I generated an error 500 on the server each time.

  With IE9 "Run As" administrator, it works.

  I've seen a number of posts on this and followed by a few documents of support on this issue, but I'm totally stuck now, nothing seems to work for me.

  This is the usual scenario, I have a VPN windows 2003 Server sat on the lan deprived of our ASA 5510 firewall, and I try to get my Windows XP / 7 laptop computers to connect to it.

  Within the ASDM:

  (1) Server Public created for Protocol 1723

  (2) Public created for the GRE protocol Server

  3) created two public servers have the same public and private addresses

  (4) the foregoing has created config Public Private static route in the section NAT firewall

  (5) rules to Firewall 2 also created above on the external interface for both 1723 and GRE

  When you try to connect, I get the following entry in the debug log.

  6 August 6, 2010 17:09:37 302013 195.74.141.2 1045 1723 ChamberVPN-internal built ride connection TCP 1889195 for outside:195.74.141.2/1045 (195.74.141.2/1045) to the inside: ChamberVPN-internal/1723 (XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/1723)

  but nothing else.

  The server shows not attempting a connection so I think I'm missing something on the firewall now.

  Also inside interface there is a temporary rule:

  Service: IP

  Action: enabled

  This should allow all outbound traffic only as far as I know...

  ASA newspaper indicates that the connection is interrupted because of "syn timeout. This means that asa receives no response from the Windows Server. Right now, we need to clarify some points.

  1 - your vpn server committed a correct default gateway error or the path that lies in your fw interface asa.

  is 2 - possible to start capturing packets on Windows Server. Hereby, we can get data flow information beetween client and server. And we can be sure that Windows Server wonders vpn.

  I try to acess manually the worker compilation .exe file and it says that the installation of xilinx tool should be checked. and that it could not load a file. (SEE ATTACHMENT)

  I read that xilinx has no full support for WIN 7 not yet. and seen on their website too. But I do not see other ppl with a few problems on the server for compilation with WIN 7 OS, but seems to have solved the problem (although not similar to mine). Which means they made it work somehow. (xilinx Web site says also that he has LIMITED support for win 7)

  I'm really stuck here. I'm still in my learning and (just trying to compile the tutorial VI!) and I don't want to waste time. I feel really stuck here. any help would be great!

  Ok. I think I got it. I've reset my network connection and asked to labview to compile. could not connect to compile the server. While crossing retry to connect, I launched the server compile manually, by clicking on the compilation server.exe and then done labview link. I guess I have overlooked some instruction somewhere that compile server.exe must be launched before making an attempt on the compilation.
