Unable to connect to networks wireless on laptop Windows 7 Enterprise. Cannot start the autoconfiguration WLAN service. "Error 1068: the dependency service or group could start."

original title: cannot start service autoconfiguration WLAN and EAP services

I am not able to connect to my wireless network. When tried to connect, it shows just "unable to connect."

I have the Intel WiFiLink 5100 adapter with the latest driver for Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit installed. The laptop is not a wireless connection manager and I am trying to connect using the Windows wireless connection manager.

I checked in the Services and found that service autoconfiguration WLAN and Extensible Authentication Protocol services are not running.

When I tried to start the WLAN auto configuration service, I get the following error...
Windows could not start the service WLAN autoconfiguration on Local computer.
Error 1068: The dependency service or group could start.

When I tried to start the service of Extensible Authentication Protocol, I get this error...
Windows could not start the service on Local computer Extensible Authentication Protocol.
Error 1053: The service did not demand launch or timely control.

I found that all dependent services for the EAP are running. And all dependent services for autoconfiguration WLAN service are running except the EAP service.

I searched the internet for the solution madly before posting here. Any help is greatly appreciated!

He said that it is probably a router configuration for that person that does not correspond to my computer. As I was just visiting, of course I didn't mess with their router. This happened to me twice, with once the provider is the same as mine, but the only way I could get connected with a hard link.

So far, the only thing I did is to see if I could connect to free wireless (municipal library) and was unsuccessful. I think the problem is with my settings, but am not sure. The problem occurs when you perform a Wizard for easy transfer to a computer that was Symantec Endpoint Protection installed to one without him.

    Answer, copypasted:

Inspect the key mentioned above - that is of HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\RasMan\PPP\EAP.

In each of the number keys look something like ConfigPathBackup and its corresponding ConfigPath - there are a number of them.

For each, I deleted the original key (e.g., ConfigPath) and restored the original by renaming ConfigPathBackup to ConfigPath

For each of them, the State is now restored to her pre State Symantec - each key pointed to a Symantec location that is no longer present and by restoring the path key backs up everything was fine

  • How to disable the pop up "Windows Media Player cannot download the information on the media... "after the extraction of a CD without activation of network connectivity.

When I copy a CD with Windows Media Player, I get the message pop up after the investigation period is over: "Windows Media Player cannot download the media for this CD information. The other titles, artist, and album will be identified as "Unknown" in your library. For best results, connect to the Internet or manually add media for CD information. »

I know that the message appears when I turn on the setting to allow WMP to connect to the internet to get information about the media, but I don't want WMP does. What I want is a button I can push on the pop-up that says "don't show this message again" (similar to the warnings seen in internet explore). How can I disable this pop-up window without activating the internet connection option.

In case you're wondering, the data from the internet are incompatible in the naming convention so when I rip an audio book, so I can listen to my mp3 player, I can't completely post-processing script because not all of the disks in a set have a coherent on the slopes or even name the disc etc. At least drives marked 'Unknown' is consistent and so easy to script for the reduction to a single MP3 file.
