    Hi @AnnisMonadjem,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I understand that you are unable to print to your printer HP Officejet Pro 8600. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

When you say 'LAN', are you referring to the network or you try to share the printer on the network?

How is the printer connected? (Ethernet/WiFi)

If you have noticed that the port is causing problems, please download and run the print and Scan doctor, it will be probably diagnose and fix the problem you are experiencing.

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

What is the name and the product number of your printer? How can I find my model number or product number?

    • Update the firmware of the printer.
    • Don't hide the SSID (network name).
    • What type of encryption are you helping? HP recommends WPA and WPA2.
    • You have a double router broadband? Make sure that the two groups were not the same network name.

If the problem persists, you may encounter an IP address conflict. It's a good idea to assign the printer a static IP address outside your DHCP range. For example, some routers default DHCP is located between 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.200. So, I would use 192.168.0.232.

To assign the static IP address, use the following steps as a guide.

    • Print a Page of Network Configuration menu of the printer front panel. Note the IP printer. IPV4 address
    • Type the IP address in the browser to bring up the SAP.
    • Choose the network tab, then wireless on the left side, and then select the IPv4 tab.
    • Select Manual IP.
    • Enter your IP address manual (192.168.0.232)
    • Enter 255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask, except if it is different.
    • Enter the IP address of your router that sits on the Network Configuration Page) for the default gateway.
    • Please, click on manual DNS server. For the preferred DNS Server Manual please enter 8.8.8.8 and the Alternate DNS Server Manual, please enter 8.8.4.4.
    • Click on apply.
    • Restart the router, the printer and the computer.
    • Test printing and scanning.

If the problem persists, download and run this patch rollup: resolving printing issues in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2

    • Try printing and scanning.

In addition, if you are still having problems try the steps in this guide, HP printers - "offline" Status Message printer (Windows 7).

Continue on, if the problem persists.

    Hey,.

The drivers that you downloaded are WLAN Card and has nothing to do with the connection to the local network (Ethernet) normal

I think you should check the Web from Toshiba site to download the latest LAN driver. You can find the drivers for Satellite Pro A40 in * archives *.

  • I can connect to the local network, but not to the internet

Why in an internet connection, I can connect to the Local network, but not to the Internet.
I have valid IP address and configuration is good.

I recommend you read some threads here in the forum about similar issues.
If this problem occurs using the WiFi network, then check if you can use the connection to the local network.
    Using the WiFi network, you must check if the common WLan parameters are favourable;
Check if the encryption key is right; turn off filtering by mac address, check the TCP/IP protocol settings if it has been set to automatic, disable the firewall settings, rest you WLan router, check if you connected to the right SSID.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A105-4114 will not recognize the connection to the local network

Whenever I plug my cable ethernet to ethernet port on my laptop, the ethernet port does not recognize my cable, even if the lights are flashing. I updated my LAN driver a week ago, and it has not really helped. My internet service is provided by my apartment complex at the school, but I don't think it has anything to do with it, because I had this problem last year living in dorms and at home. I have to restart my computer everytime for my computer to recognize the connection to the local network. Can someone help me please?

Driver: Intel (r) PRO/1000 PL Network Connection

    Wireless connection works fune.

    Hello

First of all, you should check your LAN cable.
Sometimes the laptop may not be correctly connected to the LAN as a result of a defective cable.
In addition, you should check if the network card is properly recognized in Device Manager. He should t be a yellow exclamation!
In addition, you must check the settings for the TCP/IP protocol in the LAN card properties.
TCP/IP must be set to automatic. I assume that you are connected to a server and the server supports supported a range of IP addresses and assigns it automatically.

Last but not least check if you are using the latest version of the BIOS.

    Welcome them

    Hello

    I m bit confused.
The LAN card is recognized correctly in the Device Manager?
Check under network adapters and if there is NO yellow exclamation point.

If the network card is recognized correctly, then you should check the LAN parameters-> * Protocol of TCP/IP.

IP address, getway must be set to assign automatically.

    Check it!

  • Satellite L650 - unable to connect to the public network (has no valid IP address)

    Hello

Toshiba satellite L650 laptop computer (with windows 7 64-bit), I bought two days back and I'm unable to connect to the public network. Sometimes, it must be connected to the public network and after a few minutes it disconnects. I get the message "wireless network doesn't have a valid IP configuration him."

I have visited many forums and did everything, but of no use.

    1. people with disabilities the tcp/ip V6 of the registry.
    2. the DHCP is enabled. With the help of the automatic IP (DHCP)
    3. also tried with a static IP configuration.
    4. uninstalled the antivirus provided with laptop computer (Norton).
    5 disabled the windows firewall.
    6. restored to factory settings.

I called Toshiba Tech support as well and they have suggested that it may be a problem of H/W but I don't think that so that it can be hardware problem because sometimes he must be connected to the public network. Now I'm left with no option except return the laptop to Toshiba (I'm less interested in this because I know that sending laptop for replacement will be more frustrating).

Can someone please give some other suggestions for this problem?

    Hey,.

Can you connect to your home WIFI router correctly?

If you have problems with the public network connection, you should ask the owner of these networks. Usually, there is always a contact, you can ask if you have any problems with the connection.

What you can try is updated WLAN driver from Toshiba's official website:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/

If it doesn't work, ask the person contact I mentioned.
