Unable to connect with the network via iphone or ipad

Unable to connect the Apple TV (2nd generation) with the network via Wi - Fi using the remote app!

The remote application required the devices to be on the same network, and home sharing enabled on Apple TV. The physical remote control would be necessary for the installation if this has not been done already

    Hello

Do you have any software installed on your computer network monitoring?

Monitor mode, or RFMON (Radio frequency monitor), allows a computer with a NIC (NIC) to monitor all traffic received from the wireless network. Unlike promiscuous mode, which is also used for packet sniffing, monitor mode allows packets to capture without having to associate with a network access point or ad - hoc first. Surveillance mode applies only to wireless networks, while "Promiscuous" mode can be used on cable networks and wireless. Surveillance mode is one of the six modes of 802.11 wireless cards can function in: Master (acting as an access point), Managed (client, also known as station), Ad - hoc mode, mesh, Repeater, and monitor.

    Limits

Usually, the wireless adapter is unable to transmit in monitor mode and is limited to a single wireless channel, if it depends on the driver of the wireless card, its firmware and features of all of his chip. In addition, in monitor mode, the adapter does not check to see if the control of cyclic redundancy check (CRC) are correct for packets captured, then some captured packets is maybe damaged.

If a network monitoring program is running on your computer, the wireless network adapter will be set to follow the fashion, which prevents Windows to connect to wireless networks.

To connect to a wireless network, close the network monitoring program, or follow the instructions in the program to exit the monitor mode.

  • Unable to connect to the network "\\localmachine\sharedname" share

I use VMware vCenter Converter Standalone client, v5.0.0 build-470252, running on a 64-bit Windows 7 computer, try to import a Windows 2008 computer virtual (hosted by VMWare infrastructure) on my local machine.

At the start of the converter, I have "connecting to a local server.

Specification of the source system is OK, even if I don't know the certificate error.  The conversion wizard installs his agent and it connects OK.

To the Destination System, I said:

Type of destination: VMware Workstation or other virtual machines to VMware
    Product VMware: VMware Workstation 8.0.x
    Information on the virtual machine:
Name: same as the source system, such as detected by the converter
Location for the virtual machine: \\localmachine\sharedfoldername
Username and password: my Windows 7 credentials, with full control over \\localmachine\sharedfoldername, the action and the underlying folder.

"When the converter checks the destination settings, it is reported: unable to connect to the network"\\localmachine\sharedfoldername"share

So far the measures of investigation:
-Connection to the share through Windows Explorer works fine; It is possible to write to the share

-J' tried specifying the share as '\\localhost\sharedfoldername', but get "the share specified network 'localhost\sharedfoldername' does not exist."  It was a bit of a long shot, I guess, but the form does not work in Windows Explorer.

-Have you tried with the file and print sharing both power - on and off seemed worth a try after looking at other posts on this forum

The help says 'If you are connected to a local Converter Standalone Server, providing a network path or a local path to the destination directory'.  I tried the local path "C:\Virtual Machines\sharedfoldername", but got the message "error: specified as a (local) drive Destination.»  "Please specify a UNC path such as: \\machine\sharename.

Aid also States "You have not to provide user credentials if the location is on the local storage of the machine where Converter Standalone server running."  However, the next button is always disabled until credentials are provided.

    Can anyone help please?

You must be able to access the \\localmachine\sharedname of the * SOURCE * machine. The job of conversions P2V of Windows is to install an agent on the source, then the agent connects to the target (this is why it must be on a network share) and transfers the data. You can browse \\localmachine\sharedname of the source (but not where the converter is installed)?

No network adapter driver is available after reinstalling Windows Vista installation disk... Unable to connect to the network

    Hello

Know what type of network card you have and download the drivers of its supplier.

It doesn't matter what it is always a good idea before re-install/upgrade to log on to the computer support page, download independent drivers from there and put them on a flash drive.

  • Unable to connect to the internet via the Time Capsule 2 TB router

    Hello

I can't connect wireless to the internet using my Time Capsule (see 7.7.3 running).

I mainly use a macbook air (so no ethernet jack) running El Capitan 10.12.2 but the problem also occurs with our iPad and iPhone.

The system has worked for a few hours after the initial Setup, but our ISP crashed and I was not able to make it work since their entry online. I've used a Linksys router.

ISP is done via a wireless connection. The provider can see my antenna and an Apple device connected to it. I have a static IP address with DNS assigned.

My airport utility shows green for the network connection and the internet but no Web page will open.

I did reset hard and reconfigurations a few times which one where I left the modem to the router cable disconnected until I got the full configuration.

The wireless network is using DHCP with DNS assigned to a beach.

Router mode is DHCP and NAT.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

There are a number of situations where the TC will simply not work.

I have a static IP address with DNS assigned.

If you have configured the Internet of TC tab with static IP address?

Would it not be possible to get the address IP via dhcp... have you tried?

Wireless modem is connected by ethernet to your TC? Also, the modem is a router that is bridged?

I really need to see the numbers... but it's not good to put the public IP address here... xxx on the first two bytes and just give me the rest... as long as the IP and gateway are the same.

Or send it to my email address. (see my profile).

Your linksys might work, but the CT will not... This happens because Apple does not provide sufficient flexibility to allow the wireless Internet service provider. (Or Satellite or fiber or some ADSL).

But it can also be a problem with the network... we have problems with the WAN port with some modems.

Does the ethernet connectivity light come on, when you connect the modem to the WAN port on the TC?

  • Unable to connect to the Internet via a Linksys Wireless card

I used a Linksys BEFW11S4 for several years with no problems.  A PC is connected via a network cable and the other (Dell laptop) used a wireless adapter Linksys that plugged into the laptop (model of Linksys WPC11 ver (4).  All my computers using Windows XP with the latest service packs.

I plugged the Dell laptop to the router via a cable to transfer files faster than the network B.  Then, when I disconnected the cable and reconnected the wireless card, I was unable to use the Wi - Fi connection to connect to the internet.  Wired works very well, is not wireless.

Windows reports a good wireless connection to the router, but the machine is unable to connect to the internet using the wireless card.  It can connect to the internet when using a network cable, however.

Pings what either using the Wi - Fi connection failed (expired).

I used another laptop (a more recent Toshiba with a wireless card built-in) to connect to the router and it works very well with the connectivity wired or wireless.  No problem switching back with this machine.  So, the problem is not with the router or the router configuration.

I was through the forums and seen a LOT of people seems to have the same problem with these Wireless Linksys routers.

I tried to use the Easy Link software to configure the machine, but: (1) Linksys updated web site is not valid, and (2) with the www.linksysfix.com/ela site that directs users to the software is also invalid.  Linksys technical support seems to be lacking.

I went to the usual network setup menus and two laptops seem to be configured the same way, again, we're working wireless and we do not.

I would appreciate solutions others have tried and who has worked with this problem.

I reinstalled the drivers for the Linksys card and it does not work.  Windows recognizes the new hardware card, reports that it is connected to the router, but still no internet connection

  • Dynadock U3.0 - unable to connect to the network

I have a U3.0 Dynadock and when you try to connect to the network at work via a network cable, the parameters were not detected automatically.
I then put manual details (IP), but this did not fix the problem.

I assigned by DHCP the Dynadock should get a certain IP address.
    I still have a problem.

In addition, when left on DHCP, subnet mask is 255.255.0.0 which is weird.

Has anyone else had trouble linking their Dynadock to their network?

I use a laptop another progress, running Windows 7, 64 bit.

    I found a solution.

update to the latest version of the software available at toshiba for the dynadock solves this problem.

software provided with the hardware is V6.1

to solve the problem, it is necessary to download the toshiba support website V6.2.

Also note, that windows 7 doesn't automatically recognize that this software update is available.

  • XT720: Unable to connect to the network for upgrades

    Hello

I recently had a new Motorola Milestone XT720. I tried to get the software updates using the "connection to phone" functionality system updates. If I connect my phone via the network or via WiFI, I get this message "the device is unable to connect to the server, please try again later"

How can this problem be solved?

How to get the system through files zip for Android updates?

    Kindly let me know.

It is not uncommon to get this message when checking for OTA updates - update servers seem to be pretty random that they are actually on and accessible, or not.

Your best bet for checking updates is to use the Motorola (MSU) software update. Search on a site of Motorola to find. It is a windows program that will check updates for your phone. More updates appear here before OTA (if they are already on OTA)

  • HP ENVY 15-k163cl: HP ENVY 15 updated to Windows 10, now unable to connect to the network

I've recently updated to Windows 10 with my laptop (from Windows 8) and remember, Windows 8 was working fine but now that I've updated for Windows 10, I can't connect to my home network.

When I turn on my laptop, it is not automatically connect to my network and when I try to connect from the network settings, I get an error "Could not connect to this network" and I have to wait at least 30 minutes before it automatically logs. After waiting that it works, but my laptop goes to sleep or goes inactive for awhile, it disconnects again and I have to wait

I connected via hotspot and it worked fine, but all of my other computers laptops HP connects very well and they are 10 Windows as well. Only this laptop is upward, so I guess it's a problem with a new driver.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver for the Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160 adapter - 802.11 and see if that helps any.

The 2nd driver on the list is W10 x 64.

  • Unable to connect to the printer via IP address

I changed my ISP (internet service provider) and therefore changed routers - now unable to connect to the printer.
I put a static IP address on my HP Photosmart B110a printer before we changed to ISP because there are connection problems. When we were setup to the ISP again, we are unable to connect to the printer, such as the printers IP 192.168.1.12
The new network ISP IP range is 192.168.0.xx and printers address IP is out of the network.
I can print via the USB cable but I can't return to my printers GUI by entering 192.168.1.12 return the printer back from the static IP address.
A hard reset for this printer would be appreciated.
    Thank you very much.

    Hello
I solved the problem. The answer was staring face heres so my solution for someone who has had similar problems.
I didn't dig up the old router that affects the 192.168.1.xx IP network and then connected my PC, connected my printer then connected printers user interface through the static IP address, I assigned earlier. Changed to automatic IP. Connected my new router (which assigns the IP addresses of 192.168.0.xx) to my PC and printer. Everything is now OK.
    Thank you.

We can refer to the following items and try the steps and check.

I would also recommend to update the chipset drivers. You can contact the manufacturer of the computer on the updates on this.

  • Unable to connect to the Internet via AP WAP54G through a BEFSR41 wired router

I'm puzzled. This connection was working fine but something changed... I don't know how he did. I connect to the internet via a WAP54G through a BEFSR41 to a cable modem. I checked all the settings and even reset several times but nothing helped. I can connect wireless to the WAP54G but no internet connection. The signal strength is excellent. The Vista wireless interface signals that I am connected but only locally with no internet relay. What's wrong? What I forgot. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Solved the problem. Seems a sequence to these pair of power and even if I cycled power, I did not properly. Also, I created a new wireless network to ensure that nothing is associated with the former network that has been tampered contributed to the issue.
