Unable to download the PDF file

Hello. Been trying for over 2 weeks to download a file. Instructions to read click on the image for the full size PDF file. When I click on the image I get the message: your current security settings do not allow this file to download. I can download the JPEGs of the site & I download PDFs from other sites. It's driving me crazy now cos I just can't sort. Any help most welcome - but in the words of 2 syllables to please because I'm not a geek! Thanx.

Good news!
I use Firefox for years and never had any problems with it.

Welcome them

Download the free versions of these tools. First check the updates and then run a full scan with each.

A firewall can cause that.   For example the program tries to link may need to be allowed to pass through.

  • Unable to download the pdf on cloud

I am connected to internet but Adobe, he says I am not and I cannot send a PDF file to the cloud. I do this through Adobe, not a web browser, so to my knowledge, it should not be linked to a browser. I use Adobe DC.

    Hi victoriar38804517,

    Try following the steps:

    1. disconnect and close the application, start again and sign and check if it still shows the same message.

    2. If this does not work, try disabling your LAN/Wi-FI connection and turn it back on.

You can download the PDF to the cloud by visiting this URL: https://cloud.acrobat.com/ , copy and paste this URL in the Web browser, such as Google Chrome, select Document Cloud and drag and drop the file or click the cloud at the top right of the screen.

  • Download the PDF file in mode full screen

How to download a PDF file to view it full screen in Adobe Acrobat Reader 11?

On my Windows 7 computer using IE 11, I can do first passage in full screen on the page with the download link.

    See http://www.davispicturesandpoems.co.UK/pictures/9627909.html

Then I click on the download link. When the PDF downloads in a new window using CTRL + L. The images in the PDF file now display without no title bar - like I need (this can be displayed by moving the slider to the top of the screen).

My problem is that when I tried this on the computer of my daughter who also use IE 11 and Windows 7, the title bar was always available (I don't know which version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, she installed).

Is what I do make sense?

And why two computers behave differently?

    Help appreciated.

    David

    Hi davwilli,

I can see in the screenshot above, you open the PDF in internet explore and not in the Adobe Reader software.

So, I would recommend you right click on the download link on the Web page you have above comment and choose the option "save target under" and then once the pdf file is downloaded and saved on your system, you can open it in Adobe Reader and then use the option full screen.

    Kind regards

    Rahul

  • Unable to save the PDF file to comment on

    Hello

Today I wanted to save the PDF file (created by exporting from MS Word) as a Reader Extended PDF that allows you to comment on and I failed, I find myself with a message saying something like "you don't have permissions to write to a file. It's in Polish, so I'm not sure that this is a correct translation. In any case, it's something I've done for hundreds of files, in the same way. So I'm not sure what's going on? These files are not protected. I use the same account all the time.

    Thanks for the tips.

  • 10.1.3 Adobe is unable to open the pdf file in Safari 5.1.5

    All,

After the Adobe Reader 10.1.3 update everytime I try to pen a PDF in Safari 5.1.5 I get the following window:

    http://msemac.redwoods.edu/~darnold/adobecap.TIFF

    What is going on?

    David

    Hi David,

Please note that if you use OS X 10.6.x, then you need to run Safari in 64-bit mode. You can do the same in

    1. go into Applications, command-click Safari to open the context menu.

    2. now click on read the information

    3. in the new window that appears, uncheck the box "Open mode 32 bits".

This is because on OS X 10.6.8 Safari 5.1 in 32-bit mode is not supported. Refer to the release notes for more details on changes to the systems requirements.

If above information was not useful,

Please let us know your OS version and the question of whether this problem occurs with all PDF files or any specific file?

Also try to "Recharge" the PDF file in safari when gray window is displayed by pressing "control + R?

  • Unable to save the PDF file

Hello.  I use LiveCycel designer TO create a PDF to fill several and save the PDF files to fill static forms on-line.  I use acrobat X pro to allow the extension of the detector so that users type in the data and save the form, however, the right pdf file cannot save the data entered, except the data entered in the first field.  What did I miss?

    Thank you

On the first field, look at the object/link tab and see what the link is set to... something .prpably like use FieldName. Now let's look at another field that is not saved and see what his relationship is set on... I bet that it is set to None. If so change it to use FieldName.

  • I am more unable to download the jpg files/photos sent to me by e-mail. Why? Can someone help me to fix this for Windows Vista?

This is a recent development. Next week there is or not, it wasn't a problem. Now, I can't download regardless of the source of the device: i.e. iphone, camera, etc. Now, I get the message that says Photo Gallery can't open this photo... the file may not be supported, damaged or corrupt. How can I fix it? Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hello

    Thanks for the reply.

Follow the steps to solve the problem:

Method 1: Scan SFC Run in the computer

Use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows system files

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Method 2: Create a new user account and verify that the problem occurs in the new user account as well.

If the issue is resolved, please follow the instructions in the link below:

Difficulty of a corrupted user profile

Method 3: Run a place upgrade to repair your operating system

How to perform an upgrade on the spot on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 & Windows Server 2008 R2

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/2255099

Note: Before you perform an upgrade in-place, you must be prepared for the worst scenarios that led to your existing data on your computer being deleted. These data include data personal, settings, information about the hardware and software drivers. In case of a worst case scenario, you may have to reinstall all the programs. Make sure that you back up personal data to disks or other external storage devices before performing an upgrade on the spot.
