Unable to install drivers nVidia on E6410?

I have a dell latitude e6410, and when I try to install the video driver nvidia, it says that I don't have a compatible system.

This is the driver I tried to install it: http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=C87VT&osCode=W764&fileId=3275499594&languageCode=en&categoryId=VI

Any help? Thanks in advance.

Check your device manager - the number of entries you see under graphics cards?  If one alone, you have only Intel video.

The vast majority of these systems are Intel only - only if you ordered it with hybrid video system will you have the nVidia GPU.

  • Cannot install drivers nVidia on M5-581TG

    Can anyone help please.
    I just bought a new M5-581TG with Win8 (I couldn't is no longer one with Win7, what I need).
I reformatted the SSD and installed Win7. However, I can't load the drivers nVidia for the GT 730 m.
I don't always get "no hardware found. I also tried to launch the program of detection of nVidia and who says that I have to
obtain the driver from the manufacturer. I'm guessing there is a setting that needs changing BIOS but I can't find
whatever it is (I don't have the password that allows me to access secure - start it shows password as "FROZEN" I think.)
    Can someone advise please?

    Update

I've had zero help, I thought I would post my findings. They can be useful to others.

Windows 7 Ultimate is now installed and works a treat!

The graphics card problem is now solved. I do not understand why, but I had to install drivers nVidia for Windows 8 Acer despite my demotion to Windows 7. Yet, the Acer driver provides for Windows 7 are very old, so it was a bonus that the drivers of Windows 8 worked in only a few questions behind (307.17). nVidia site has 314.07 as later but they cannot run - I just received a message from nVidia that I have to get my manufacturer drivers. As this seems to be some time before Acer make available, I thought I would have a try to make compatible the 314.07. After some effort I managed and now uses the latest version without any problems. So, it is good to know that it is possible to "do it yourself", but not for the feint of heart.

The problem of 'Frozen' hard drive seems to be a kind of glitch but software Intel confirms everything normal and not password protected. Twice now, when I checked the BIOS, it has been shown as 'Clear' - today it is 'frozen '! Go figure. I just need to determine if I can pass to a Samsung 840 - don't know if it will be physically fit. Finally, I am only just beginning now to 'use' the machine (I'm a software developer) and play the odd game - excellent rates too! So far this M5 seems to be a brilliant machine!

  • SP M30: Unable to install drivers with tdevconex.exe

Hi, for installing drivers WinXP on Satellite Pro M30, I have only one image burned on the installation CD. It seems that there is a problem with the tdevconex.exe (root dir). When it is started, a window appears which has asked to send an error report to Microsoft. So I'm not able to install some drivers (WLAN, LAN,...).

Unfortunately, the drivers downloaded from the Toshiba Homepage see this file on the CD (as the wland.cmd for example).

So, what can I do? I did find this file on the homepage for download. Can I install these drivers without the tdevconex.exe? How? Or where can I get the file?

    Thank you very much!
    Timothy

    Hello

I put t know what image you have, but I recommend to use the original recovery CD. If you n t have one you can use the CD of the full Microsoft and after that version, you can install all the drivers, tools and utilities with the help of Tools & Utilities CD or you can download them from the download page of Toshiba.

Very important, it is the command of facilities. After installing OS install Chip Set Utility initially, display driver, sound driver and so on. Before you begin to install Toshiba stuff please install common modules first. It is very important.

Just FYI; If you check the download list for your model Toshiba on page you will find information update Microsoft Windows XP SP2. Here, you can check what drivers or tools must be reinstalled after installing SP2.

    Good luck!

Hi and welcome to the forum!

You have the Nvidia Optimus model or simply Nvidia with switchable graphics? See this support page, check and then let us know.

    Keep us informed.

Edit: Also, have you changed switchable to discreet in the BIOS before you install the driver? I do not believe that XP supports switchable graphics, others is your XP updated to SP3? It is a requirement.

Unable to install audio drivers for Satellite 3005 - S303, Windows XP SP2 installation of the Realtek AC97 drivers automatically, but with the error (blue screen). I tried to install the drivers of Crystal or Cirrus but Windows always changed for Realtek.

    Hello

I found information on the net that this device supports a Crystal CS4299-A Codec chip.
In this case, it should be possible to use the Crystal audio driver.
As far as I know that he is an American unit. I searched the site of driver Toshiba us and have found a Crystal audio driver but only for Windows 98SE/Me/2000.
If you have found the right driver, so I recommend you to remove first the driver of his former (Device Manager), then install the new.

Here you can compare as you installed the BIOS with BIOS which is available on the site we Tosh.

Im trying to install drivers for a Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 on my windows vista 64 bit computer. Every time I have try and start the download, it is said that my driver is not a 64-bit driver, which is false, and that my system is 64 bit, which is true. SO... after I click 'OK', it begins to download only to have another pop-up saying "Setup has detected that the system in use is not windows vista 64 bit" which it is. Basically its contradiction with himself. im confused.

    Im running windows vista 64-bit.

    I just upgraded to a Nvidia 9800GT, to a Nvidia GTX 260.

In frustration, I deleted all the old drivers, but the new will not download.

The first error says that the drivers are not 64-bit.

The second error indicates the operating system is not 64-bit.

Let the site nVidia Driver detect your video card. If it still does not work, contact nVidia for a solution... Mike Hall MVP - Windows Experience http://msmvps.com/blogs/mikehall/

I'm unable to install the drivers for the Intel CS630 PC camera for windows7 64-bit?

If it's a camera for INTEL it website should have the good

    64-bit to Win 7 64 bit software.

Some older hardware will not work on newer 64-bit systems.

check your websites of manufacturers of games for win7 64 bit compatibility.

Try your game in compatibility mode in Windows 7.

to say the least there are a huge amount of games and

software that works fine with Win7 64-bit.

  • PC Companion is unable to install the MTS (Win7Pro) drivers

I tried to install PC Companion on my laptop Windows 7 Pro, but the phase of installing driver MTS fails with an error message. That's what I did:

1 download the latest version of PC Companion of http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/PC%20Companion/Sony%20PC%20Companio...

2A ran the installer and the accepted request elevated privileges

    3. we see the PC Companion start screen, then a language selection window. I accept auto-select English (United Kingdom) by selecting Install at the bottom right.

    4. I accept the license agreement

    5. I am informed that the MTS support is not installed on my computer, which is needed to go through my phone using Windows Explorer. By selecting "Move" the installer will download and install MTS drivers for me. So I set Proceed.

    6. 12 mb are downloaded, then an error dialog box pops up saying:

«Windows package manager: operation failed with 0x8007047F.» The specific program is not a Windows or MS-DOS program. ", so I am forced to select OK."

    7. This returns me to the installer of PC Companion which then said "MTP supports installation successfully, click next to continue", so I click Next (clearly there a problem because the support of PSG has no installation).

8 PC Companion is installed and launched.

    9. I skip the Intro, and a message appears telling me I need to update before I can use PC Companion, so I select update now and 19.8 MB are downloaded.

    10. I see a new installer starts, and I'm back to step 5 saying that MTS supportis installed do not. I allow him to try and install using 'proceed '.

    11. 12 mb are downlaoded once again, and I finally see the same exact error as step 6. I click OK again to close the error dialog box.

12 PC Companion Installer still consider installing MTS was a success, then I click Next (the only real option) and it installs and launches PC Companion.

    13. I make sure my connection mode USB Z1 Xeria is on the PSG and connect it to my laptop using cable USB of Sony.

14 nothing happens in PC COmpanion, he says always "no phone/Tablet not connected" in the upper part.

    15. in the Windows Device Manager, I see a new device in the other devices section that says "C6903". It's my phone, but it has not been correctly identified, and no drivers were installed.

    16. If I'm trying to impose the installation of the driver by double-clicking the C6903 and select Update driver software, Windows performs a search, but eventually returns with ' Windows cannot find software driver for you device.

My Z1 does not connect to my laptop. I tried many USB ports. When it is connected to the DELL laptop the same of my colleague, it works fine for him. When it is connected to another laptop of colleagues (not identical, WIn8.1) it works fine also.

I was on the site of Microsoft MTP driver and downloaded and installed the drivers from the PSG. They apparently installed fine, but this made no difference to my phone identity in Device Manager.

The properties of C6903 show 'unmanned '.

So. I'm stuck. Can someone help me understand why it not install drivers for MTP PC Companion, and why my Z1 (which seems to be on other phones) cannot be recognized on my laptop? I'm sure it must be a driver on my laptop problem.

Specs: Windows 7 Pro (fully updated) SP1, 64-bit, 16 GB of RAM. Laptop DELL XPS.

Thanks in advance for any help!

A little more research, I discovered that someone else had bad until they installed Windows Media Center. My version of Windows 7 (N) does not include Windows Media Player or Center, so I installed Windows Update KB968211 which includes Windows Media Player. Rebooted, plugged my Z1 and voila! It works perfectly now!

I'm a little annoyed that I have to install Windows Media Player to use my Sony Xperia phone. And I'm a still more angry that PC Companion could not install the drivers for MTS and do not recognize the problem. I was pulling my hair out with this!

I hope that everything will be good from hereonin.

And I hope that this message will help someone else out there!

  • Question about upgrading drivers Nvidia on Satellite Pro X 200

Can I update the drivers from nvidia 8700 for my 8700 pro satellite drivers for vista from nvidia home page,.
or do I have to use the toshiba page.

The reason I ask, is because I had a laptop computer manufacturers one another, and when I updated my nvidia drivers from the nvidia homepage,.
Spoolsv.exe has started using all my cpu, and the reason was that this driver has not been supported by this manufacturer

Shouldn´t you use the original Nvidia drivers since they are not changed for mobile platforms. If you install drivers from there, your computer will run much hotter then now and it won´t work correctly because the programming of schedules for the GPU and RAM are not correct.

You will need to go here:

but please: read the FAQ first before you do ANYTHING! :) I recommend you to do this because we can made a lot of mistakes. ;)
