Unable to join servers in BHD Blackhawk Down

I ran the Compatibility Assistant still no help, I put my IP address on the DMZ, I ran as administrator, safe mode (I can reach our Teamspeak with safe mode, can't do with a normal startup). All my drivers are up to date and change the settings of the user account is disabled). I ran the windows firewall (allowing Bhd to cross the firewall) and I have disabled firewall. I still not to the point of "Join Session", but I never connect. I had no problem with WinXP 64.

Something else I'm missing? Thanks in advance.

Hi JerzeeJoe,

As it works fine in safe mode but not in normal mode. Try to perform the clean boot and check what is happening.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: When you perform a clean boot, you may temporarily lose some functionality. When you start the computer as usual, the function returns. However, you may receive the error message, or you can experience the original behavior.

Follow the steps below to put your computer in a clean boot state:
1. sign the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

2. click on the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

3. on the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items.

4. on the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

5. click OK and then click on restart.

Check the link to learn more about the clean boot below:
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
1. click the Start button, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
2. on the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.
3. When you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

If that does not resolve the issue, I would say that you contact support from novalogic.

  • px12-350r unable to join the domain - what now?

    Hi all!

I hope you can give me some advice because at the moment I'm in a really silly situation, being probably locked out of my Iomega px12-350r.

    Here is what happened:

    * The device was successfully linked to my domain name Microsoft AD and worked with this config at least a year.

    * I expanded the storage matrix, 2 days adding 2 drives. Everything went well and the end of the expansion, the new total disk space is displayed correctly in the web administration interface.

    * After this, I restarted the device. After the reboot, I couldn't connect to the device more using my domain account. This account had administrative rights on the NAS and I connected on the NAS using this account before.

    * I don't alter the domain infrastructure.

    * I know that the device cannot join the domain more because I enabled e-mail notifications and he continues to send me "unable to join the domain".

    I have already tried:

    * Connection using the usual accounts: doesn't seem to work once the device is connected to a domain.

    * Connection via SSH. Does not work, probably for the same reason as above.

    I wasn't yet:

    * The user manual mentions reset the admin password by pressing the reset on the back button. But this will only reset config (I'd be okay with it), or it will erase the data on the drives as well?

I'm from the Germany. Despite having purchased a service plan 24 x 7 hotline support German will only redirect me to the hotline American which claim to do only office, no SIN px12. I'm kinda in the middle of nowhere now. ;-)

    Thanks for your help!

    Best regards

    Florian

    Hi André,.

I fixed it without reboot - by chance.

In a desperate attempt, I tried to connect using the domain administrator account - and it worked! I don't remember giving any px12 admin permissions to this user and I certainly don't connect to the device using this user before. But the account has permissions to create computer accounts in the ad, and in the moment when I logged in the computer account of the AD px12 updated password.

I tell myself that the px12 has used the account admin for re - joining the domain. From the web interface, I could now do a sync AD and after that, all users of domain reworked.

So, if anyone has the same problem, try connecting the device with any account that has administrative rights on the whole of the field, even if you have not used the account on the device before. It can work for you, too.

Local accounts still do not work. I think that if the device is connected to a domain and the domain link is broken permanently, so it's only the reset button.

    Andrew Merci for your support!

    Best regards

    Florian

  • When you try to play multiplayer in Age of Empires II: The Conquerors, unable to join Windows 7 machine game.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and whenever I try to play multiplayer with my XP machine, the computer detects the game, but whenever I try to join, he tells me that he is unable to join the game.  We have disabled the two firewalls, but that has not worked.  In addition, we played on LAN.

Well, looking around, I actually found a person who says that if you change the type of connection (in game settings) of TCP/IP to IPX fixed LAN connection problems.

Also check that your router is configured to allow traffic on the ports required by the game.

  • Unable to join the homegroup on new Inspiron 15 5559

I had a residential group put in place for a good while on 3 computers desktop and an old Tower, but my new laptop Dell Inspiron 15 5559 with 10 Windows fails to reach.  I get to the point of putting in the right password and clicking NEXT, then the bar keeps of moving from left to right for several minutes, then stops without any messages and not to join.

Here are the details.  Computer of One Office (a Dell Inspiron 630 with Windows 7 Pro), a former HP with Windows Pro 10 office, an old house built office with Windows 10 Pro (64-bit), and an old Toshiba laptop with 64 bit Windows 7 Home.  All these joined the homegroup very well.  In addition to the homegroup, I have the file & printer sharing power with 4 of them.  On the Dell desktop computer, I have 9 folders and two shared printers.  The new laptop Dell can access shared folders, it is just unable to join the homegroup.  I created the homegroup because I had problems to access 2 shared printers (a Canon IP1600 inkjet and laser Samsung ML-2525) with 10 windows, in case you're wondering why I'm not just with the file & printer sharing instead of homegroup.

In any case the key is that everything on this new Dell laptop works fine except that I can not join the homegroup, and I'm very curious as to why not.  I did full virus scans with Defender and Norton 360 and have done two scans with MalwareBytes, but no malware has been found.  I also ran "SFC/scannow" and it found no problem either.  I checked to make sure that I put in the security key for the homegroup, and at this point, I am triple ideas.  It please does not restore to the factory settings, because I had this problem since the first day that I got this laptop out of the box before I did any customization. FWIW, I'm no novice in computer science.

    What suggest you?  TIA

Yesterday I posted a note that I would have found and solved the problem.  I don't know what happened to this post.  The problem was that there was a popup that was actually a pop-under hidden behind a number of open windows.  He said that there was an invalid password.  Of course the note that I had used to set up 4 PCs had a "n" where there is now a "m".  I would like to say that this has changed from n to m somehow otherwise I don't know how I was able to put in place the other 4 PCs.  Anyhoo, the problem is now resolved.

  • Unable to join 7 Pro to the Small Business SERVER 2003 domain

So far, I was unable to join a new Pro 7 laptop running an existing Small Business SERVER 2003 domain. Whenever I try to use:

http://servername/ConnectComputer  I get a 403 http error and that it points to an IIS issue, but I can't seem to find a way to work around this problem.

Then I tried to go through the system properties and computer name change and join. Then, I get a message "cannot locate the area." I tried to use the FQDM, only the name of the server, the domain name under the extension, and nothing works. At first, I thought it was a DNS problem, but, I ping the name of the server or any other computer by name, with no problems...

Don't know what I'm missing here, but if anyone can shed some light on the situation, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

  • Unable to join the homegroup - when you attempt to join I get this message: cannot create a homegroup on this computer

I tried all the suggested 'fixes' and am still unable to join. My network has worked well until I installed W7. I can create a homegroup on any computer (I have 4 on the network), but no other computers can join. All I get when you are trying to reach is "impossible to create a homegroup on this computer". It is a problen very common, judging from all the complaints I've seen on the forums. With no exaggeration, there are thousands of people are unable to use this 'easy '... home network Please don't tell me to disable my firewall or computer time sync or one of the other "fixes" that do not help.

    Hello

Since you're so desperate, you can configure the network to the office network.

It's a little more work than the collective dwelling, but the results are more flexible.

    -----------------------------------------

Here you have the whole story because what Win 7 can make wise network.

Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.

Homegroup = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.

Network of home or work = fundamentally similar (and better) to the previous methods of theWorking Group sharing which allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.

    Public share
= network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks.

For the best newspaper of the results of each computer screen system and together all computers on a network of the same name, while each computer has its own unique name.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq.html#trusted
Please Note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled).
If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic.

If you end up with the 3rd party software uninstalled or disabled, make sure that Windows native firewall is active .

    -----------------------------

Network Win 7 with another version of Windows as a work network (works very well if all computers are Win 7 also).

In the center of the network, by clicking on the type of network opens the window to the right.

Choose your network type. Note the check box at the bottom and check/uncheck depending on your needs.

When you have finished the configuration of the system, it is recommended to restart everything the router and all computers involved.

    -------------

If you have permission and security issues with Vista/Win7, check the following settings.

Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.

    In the properties

Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.

This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/permission-security.jpg

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.

When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).

    * Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot are just an example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.

** Note . All the users who are allowed to share need to have an account onall computers that they are allowed to connect to.

Everyone is an account, that means a group of all users who already have an account now as users. It is available to avoid the need to configure permission for each on its own, it does not mean all those who feel that they would like to connect.

  • Unable to join the domain on VM

Hello - I just installed Workstation 12 on a machine and try to understand networking. We use the network configuration connection bridged, that seems to work for most. I give a static IP address to the virtual machine and am able to ping this IP from other computers, but I'm unable to join this virtual machine to the domain. All our DNS settings are configured correctly on the virtual computer. The error indicates it does not find our dns server when attempting to join the domain. What I'm missing here? Must the virtual machine use the host's IP as gateway or DNS? Shouldn't if we in bridged mode right?

    Thanks for any help!

This has been resolved. I had to make the switch port that the host computer has been connected to a trunk instead of an access port port.

  • Unable to join the domain "DNS name does not exist."

Working on this computer remotely in my company, it has more a problem but at this moment, that we focus on trying to reach the area. We removed everything first to see if it would fix the trust relationship issues she felt the long side not being able to browse the files all computer network or servers.
When trying to join the field, that's what we get in the dcdiag.txt in the debug folder.
The domain name 'xxxxx' can be a NetBIOS domain name.  If this is the case, check that the domain name is properly registered with WINS.
If you are certain that the name is not a NetBIOS domain name, then the following information can help you troubleshoot your DNS configuration.
The following error occurred when DNS was questioned about the resource record (SRV) service location used to locate an Active Directory (AD DC) domain controller for the domain "xxxxx":
The error was: "the DNS name does not exist."
    (0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR error code)
The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.xxxxx
Common causes of this error are:
-The DNS SRV records to locate an AD DC for the domain are not registered in DNS. These records are automatically saved with a DNS server when an AD domain controller is added to a domain. They are updated by the AD DC at set intervals. This computer is configured to use DNS servers with the following IP addresses:
    198.6.1.5
    198.6.100.38
-One or more of the following areas do not include delegation to its child zone:
    XXXXX
    . (the root zone)
    XXXXX = domain
Also the listed IP addresses have been changed.

I worked on this computer for about 2 days, and then the user is able to work remotely with a server terminal server, they will need access to the server later.

Reset the network device - completely.  Uninstall the network driver and have someone there install the latest manufacturer.

Manually enter the DNS information for the DNS servers of your company on the computer - even if it uses DHCP.

Make sure that its time/time zone is the same as your DNS server.

    Reset all default HOSTS file.

    Ping the DNS server.

When you join - use the FQDN (mycompany.local, etc..)

  • Unable to join u1 VCSA 6 back to the domain. Error messages are not found anywhere online.

I was wondering if someone can help troubleshoot me SSO with a VCSA to 6u1 running. PLEEASE!  This has been updated about a week ago of 6.0 and had no problems until he decided to collapse Monday. At this time, that we had problems with our domain controllers, I don't know if it was related.

Monday Veeam backup by using a domain account to access VCenter has stopped working. Authentication failure. Try to connect to VCenter WebClient with SSO that weI made for years also failed. Signature as root for web client has as well.

Signature to the C++ client worked for connections without any problem, but really limited what we can do. So I spare the domain and attempted to join without success.

I can sign into the web client with [email protected], you try to join the domain as we did before the results in "Idm client exception: error trying to join AD, code error [31], user..." " - no reference to error 31 anywhere. Yes the username in the form of [email protected]. The computer account has been recreated on the field. Connectivity to the domain controller is fine, because if I put the password wrongly, it tells me that authentication has failed. All services on the VCSA are started with the exception of the function Auto-déployer.

I tried via SSH connected as long as root (it tells me that [email protected] has no shell access) domaine.net/opt/likewise/bin/domainjoin-cli join [email protected] translated by ERROR_GEN_FAILURE [code 0x0000001f], yet once a mistake that relevant results.

I am unable to create beams journal via the web client or via the C++ client, I suspect because space on the VCSA which I was not able to solve. Execution of the VSAN performance monitoring seem to chew place until I turned it off, but haven't found all the resources online as to where to find them or how to remove.

I have a snapshot that was done before I got updated to 6u1 8 days ago, but I'm afraid that everything I have done since then will crumble. This VCenter manages a VSAN production, and I can't get him off.

Please can someone untangle me this mess? With the lack of informative error messages I don't know where to start!

    Thank you

    B

Woohoo! I finally thought to it.

To start with I've implemented a new VCenter server as a trial, nothing configured, just deploy the iso 6u1. I found that it was not automatically joined to the domain and has attempted to do. SAME ERROR! So the problem is not with VSphere. In recent weeks, we introduced two new DCs R2 2012 and retired from one of our 2008 R2 domain controllers. I closed the DCs 2012 and tried again with only the old DC on the network. It worked! I was able to join the VCSA test to the field, and after a reboot because the button leave available domain.

So I she disjoint and then attempted to join the domain when running wireshark on 2008R2 domain controller's NETWORK card. Then, I grew up a DC 2012R2, waited 10 minutes or so close the 2008R2. Yet once, I ran wireshark but this time on the 2012R2 server's NETWORK card. I compare the results of a successful or not join and I saw that the 2012R2 DC has been a lack of outgoing SMB packets to the VCSA. The Server service is running on the domain controller in 2012, but the Microsoft recommendation has been to change startup srv.sys from automatic to manual on 2012 R2 server. I thought it was odd at the time, but we have changed when we put in place the new domain controllers to meet the BPA. I compared it to the registry setting on the 2008R2 domain controller. which has been set to automatic startup.

So to allow VCSA to join the domain when you get the error 31, cancel it

    http://social.technet.Microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/21104.SRV-sys-should-be-set-to-start-on-demand.aspx

on your server 2012R2 DCs if it has been applied it causes domain join failure.

Command prompt: sc config srv = auto start

    or

    Register: HKLM:\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\srv\ from 3 to 2

I hope this saves someone else the time it took me to understand! I guess I can cancel my request for support now...

  • vMA unable to join the domain

    Hello

    I can't join the domain (windows-based).

I want to join my vMA to the domain, but it is always the wrong password

When I follow these steps on my vMA

    domainjoin-cli join < domain name > <-domain admin-user >

He invites me authorization error so I tried with sudo

VI-admin@VMA: sudo domainjoin-cli join < domain name > <-user-admin of the field: can I use to connect on my other computers >

then he gives me a wrong password... my password is correct...

I tried on two versions of vMA, 4.1 and 5.1/5.5

    any suggestions...

    Hey VirtualRay

Your VMA has the same DNS settings in your area?

So if you your vCenter Server ranging from ping vcenter01.mydomain.lan pings is returned correctly?

    If so, it should work

1 from the vMA console, run the following command:

    sudo domainjoin-cli join

2 when you are prompted, provide the password for the administrator of Active Directory.

On successful authentication, the command adds vMA as a member of the domain. The command also adds entries in the file/etc/hosts with vmaHostname.domainname.

    3 restart vMA.

Now you can add a target Active Directory at the VMAs. For the procedure to do this, see Add servers at VMAs targets.

To check the settings of the domain of the vMA

Since the vMA console, run the following command:

    sudo domainjoin-cli application

The command displays the name of the domain for which vMA joined.

  • Unable to join the computer Windows 7 the Windows Server 2008 R2 domain

I'm at a complete loss here. I don't know if its something to do with this specific machine, or if something has changed on the side things server.

    A little history:

I have joined two other machines to the domain about 3 weeks.

Meanwhile, a machine has been infected by a ransomware. We completely removed all traces of infection of the machine network drives and mapped the proxy infected. The infected machine is used as a pointer for direct research. Could something have changed within the machine itself? Should I remove it?

We have restored the mapped via a stored backup files.

I do not know if somehow widespread infection among the mapped drives to records of service on the server itself change something along the way.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here is the NetSetup.LOG information.
