• Unable to see the computers in the workgroup or server to print to my HP laptop, but I can all ping and access the internet through the router.

  I have a laptop HP with XP pro. I have a network with 2 computers laptops (Dell and HP), 1 office and 1 DP300U DLINK print server with a static IP address. I use a LINKSYS WRT110 router. Everything is connected through this router. I can ping ALL laptops, the office and the print server. I can access internet from all laptops and office. All THE MACHINES are in the same workgroup. Only from my DESKTOP (XP HOME), I can click on FAVORITES NETWORK, click VIEW group of WORK COMPUTERS and I can see the other compters and the print server. However, since my computer Dell laptop or HP LAPTOP (XP PRO) I can PING the router and the journal in it, all the other machines and print server but can NOT SEE THE OTHER COMPUTERS or ACCESS THE PORTABLE HP computer or the other laptop. I turned off all firewalls and firewall McAfee (PORTABLE HP computer) and still no joy. I think that there is a box ticked somewhere or the one that is checked and who should not, but I can't find out where it is or something else to look at. Any ideas would be appreciated.

• WAAS for RADIUS and Windows Server 2012 NPS server configuration

  I have trouble getting our WAAS to authenticate devices and connection via RADIUS.  Running NPS on Windows Server 2012.  Confirmed that my device WAAS can ping the IP address of the RADIUS server.  Using the attribute Type of administrative service under network policies.  Look in the event viewer, I get an error with event ID 15, "a malformed RADIUS message has been received of the xxxx-WAAS-01 customer. The data is the RADIUS message. »

  Right now, I can connect with only the local default user and password name.  Here are a few config for WAAS, running version 6.2.1:

  Based on the RADIUS error you probably experience failure CSCva14731. This was discovered with Cisco ACS, but can affect other RADIUS servers.

  To confirm, you can check the corresponding error in syslog WAAS:

  authenticate: % WAAS-UNKNOWN-3-899999: pam_radius_auth: talk_radius: RADIUS server did not respond (timeout 5 (sec))

  Also, this defect would not affect peripheral on software 5.x WAAS.

  The problem will be solved in 6.2.3 to come free.

  Hi all, anyone know if there is a Remote Agent who will install and run the Windows Server 2012? I know that we are far behind the code releases, we run 4.2.0 ACS. We waited for ISE to incorporate GANYMEDE +, because it's the only thing that we still use ACS for in our environment. Our server team is eager to improve our DCs to server 2012, and I'm not sure that there is a remote agent that we would always tie back our ACS accounts to domian credentials. Please notify.

  Remote agent does not support windows 2012. Only 5.4 ACS task soustenans 2 glass 2012 and who does not need remote agent because it uses inbuild Adagent talk to active directory.

  5.4 ACS patch 2 supports Windows 2012 AD.

  We spin the new array of XtremIO Gen2 a POC of EMC and discovered a problem with customers running Windows Server R2 2012 or the EFI firmware. The details are in the blog below, but the goal here is to ask for the community of entry of anyone else running on XtremIO with firmware Win2k12 R2 and non - R2 and EFI/BIOS.   Storage 3PAR - no problem with all the guests

  XtremIO storage - can not (re) start guests R2 EFI 2012

  After a few weeks of troubleshooting by engineers from VMware and EMC/XtremIO, the question was determined to be a problem starting EFI replace a block of 7 MB in the XtremIO table, which filled the queue, and who would never clear that he expected more data to complete the communication (i.e. deadlock). This seems to happen only with firmware of EFI VMs (tested with 2012 Windows and Windows 2012 R2) and the question is on the end of XtremIO.

  The good news is that the problem can be mitigated by adjusting the Disk.DiskMaxIOSize parameter on each ESXi host by default 32 MB 32768-4 MB (4096). You can find it in vCenter > Home > Configuration > advanced settings (from the bottom) > drive > Disk.DiskMaxIOSize. The XtremIO team is working on a permanent fix in the meantime, and the workaround can be implemented hot with no impact on ongoing operations (potentially minor host CPU load increase as ESXi breaks > 4 MB e/s in MB 4 pieces).

  You will need to ensure that the old version of Windows is installed first of all, in this case (Windows 7), then you can install Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012 after on logical partitions. Please see the following:

  We use Adobe PDF iFilter Version 64 11.0.01 (here: https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5542) full-text support for PDF files on SQL Server and Windows Server 2012 2012. This works also on Windows Server R2 from 2012 to 2014 of SQL-Server even if both is not listed in the list of the applications/OS supported. But it does not work for the combination of 8.1 to Windows and SQL-Server, 2014.

  Can anyone provide a solution to make it work for this combination, or know when it will be officially supported?
