  • Windows Live Mail is unable to send/receive messages

I just bought a computer Windows 7 and downloaded Windows Live Mail - but it seems to be missing some very basic features. I can't find any way to press a button and send/receive mail and cannot implement the message rules.

I read somewhere that WLV feratures better than Windows mail, but there seems to be a very basic package (inadequate?).

I need these features - suggestions?

    Thank you

    JOHN

There are changes to the user interface of Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail, but the features are still there.

To send and receive mail, click synchronize .  To configure rules to messages, pressALT + T , and then click Rules of Message > e-mail .

  • Unable to send the message from my account to my other in Outlook Express 6

Unable to send the message from my account to my other in Outlook Express 6

What is a Pop3 account? IMAP? Hotmail? Can I assume that it used to work? If it worked until recently, follow these steps.

Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, the files of user OE (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Disable analysis in your e-mail anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that devours the CPUs, slows down sending and receiving and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for the loss of messages. Your up-to-date A / V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more information, see:

  • problems with sending/receiving messages

For the last two weeks my iphone 6 s and my son 6 more have had problems with sending/receiving messages in the texts of the Group and regularly comes to a voicemail.  Messages are not at all or you may be able to receive them. Then last night on a group text between me and another user of iphone and a droid user messages were not all going through and an 'unknown' appeared on the screen of the droid users as if this person has attempted to send a message to our group text but nothing was there.  Iphone users could not see it.  This morning - messages still does not go through the text of the group or on one.  Any ideas?

  • I'm unable to send/receive emails.

    Send/receive blocked

I'm unable to send/receive e-mails due to an attempt to send and receive photos that appear to have hung my send/receive function. Whenever I try to send/receive, it results in an error message. How can I overcome this? Unfortunately, I am not very good with computer jargon, but if anyone can send me a help I can working to unlock it I would be very grateful thank you!

Connect via the webmail of your account and verify that it works correctly for this purpose.  If this is the case, then try setting up a new identity via file | Identities.  Then add your e-mail account it (make sure that it didn't y no e-mail scanning turned on - see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3), and then see if it works very well.   If so, you can go to file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

  • No possibility to send e-mail. At first, I could not send / receive. After three attempts. MEDICOM establishes the possibility to receive email, but I can not yet send. They recommend that I contact Dell!

September 11 also cannot send an email. At first I could not send or receive / send. After a few trials with Medicom, I can now receive, but not send. They say contact DELL.  I'll pass on our other computer wiring and see if I have the same problem (the other can send & receive) if my computer's working there, so I guess this isn't a problem for DELL. Seems strange that so many others have the same problem on this date.

    Hi Harold,.

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Community to post your query. It seems that you are unable to send mail using the web mail account Medicom.  I couldn't find much information about the issue. However, as many users is faced with the question, there could be some intermittent problem, you can wait for a while and have access to the e-mail account later.

Try to access the e-mail account using different browser and check if the problem persists.

    1. What browser do you use? If you use Internet Explorer version of Internet Explorer?

    2. You receive error messages?

Please contact the support of Medicom once again, they should have the information.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones has not received SMS after upgrade to OS6

Hi, I wish someone could help me on this point, since I called CELCOM several times already, but the problem still there.

3 days ago I just upgraded my 9700 to OS6. Before the upgrade, for SMS, I was 3rd party to use applications: CRUNCHsms, after upgrade, believe that I received a few SMS from notification to my BB screen he showed. But I can't open the sms because it says there that CRUNCHsms cannot operate in OS6. So, I just removed the apps.

The problem here, it's my phone can not always received any SMS even after I removed the CRUNCHsms apps. I tried texting on my own number of testing and a few of my friends and what happen is, my friend may receive the sms me, but my phone can't receive SMS. I tried to remove the SIM card and put it on another phone, and it can work normally without problem with send-receive sms.

-I can't receive text messages, but I can send sms, after that I update my bold 9700 to OS6.

I really wish that someone can help me solve this problem, it's been 3 days I can't receive SMS.

    Thank you

    Hello

Have you checked your security settings? Crunch SMS automatically on your firewall to ensure it delivers SMS messages, good sense.

Go to Options > Security > firewall and disable it, also make sure there is no tick next to text messages, PIN etc...

Then remove your battery and it should solve your problem

    Hope this helps

  • Not all of a sudden, I can't send / receive messages in Thunderbird.

I think that my version of Thunderbird has been updated yesterday. Since then, I could not send or receive messages.

Check your firewall and see if it blocks Thunderbird. Some firewalls see upgrades in the new software and block them.

If I am using 11 G andrtp is g 11 but on rtp side if they configure SSL, it is mandatory to do it on our side too?

No, it is not required to activate SSL on your side, but must configure identity and trsut on your side.

Any update on my regular issue (the main issue of the forum)?

You mentioned that you send messages message of 10 g and 11 g and according to the newspapers you ship to URL - b2b / https://dev-nog.server:443 / transportServlet

If there are few things that I see as a problem-

    1. you must use the URL https://hostname:soa_server_ssl_port/b2b/httpReceiver instead of https://dev-nog.server:443/b2b/transportServlet
2 SOA server SSL port must be enabled (SSL must be enabled on the server of SOA)
    3. you must configure portfolio from 10 g to contain 11 g server trust cert

    Kind regards
    Anuj

  • Unable to send the message to a group (see p156) in Outlook Express 6.

    Original title: Outlook Express.

Using OE6 and XP Pro with SP3.  Trying to send a message to a group (see p156) in troubleshooting Outlook.  I can't understand how to enter the individual the group names in the BCC field.  I can get the name of the group, but this does not seem to do the trick.  Individual names within the group are not separately present in the address book, with the exception of my own which is only there to see if my plan works.  Do I have to have these names and addresses email present in the address book as well?  Have not yet tried.  Help me if possible.  Is the latest version OE6?

    Hi NormanMancuso,

You can follow the steps in this link & check if the problem persists:

In Outlook Express, how can I send the same message to a group important (in the address book already), but have to each recipient can only see his name (not the Group)

  • Unable to send accounting messages to the format of the RADIUS protocol to fortigate RSSO ISE of Cisco

    Hello

I am working to get my shipment of Cisco ISE of Fortigate RSSO accounting messages (simple RADIUS sign) to work on the Fortigate firewall. I tried to add the Fortigate for logging targets at a distance and added the Fortigate under the categories of logging (accounting & Radius Accounting). In doing so, I ran a wireshark capture and found that the ISE send accounting messages to Fortigate in SYSLOG format. I need ISE to send the accounting information in the format RADIUS for RSSO to work on Fortigate firewall.

I already had this work using Windows server (NPS) radius. So based on what I did in Windows I tried to reproduce the same thing to the ISE. I added Fortigate as external Radius server. I added the sequence Radius Server with Radius attribute as a class and I have a key in a custom for her string. I've also matched in the same attribute to Fortigate. And then selecting "use Proxy Service", I added an authentication strategy (uses the Radius Server sequence I created) instead of "Licensed protocols".» I brought this policy upwards.

Then, I created a permission for the same policy. In the results of the authorization profile--> authorization policy, I added the attribute class. But every time that I add here, after registration, the attribute class is sitting next to the ASA VPN.

Please confirm if my settings are ok or y at - it another way to get send ISE accounting messages in the form of RADIUS to Fortigate.

PS: I only need to pass newspapers accounting and no need to send the authentication requests. There was an option to the Windows radius server where I could specify that authentication should happen on the radius of Windows and send accounting information to the remote radius server group.

Any help with this is appreciated.

    Best regards

    SSK

I am facing the same problem to send Radius accounting information to a Web proxy to perform filtering of content / granularity. Does anyone have any news about this? Maybe a Cisco support person.
