Unable to start Vista

original title: Vista does not at all - please help

Hi I am running Windows Vista, but my laptop is no longer will allow me to access the windows.  He continues to go to the Startup Repair tool that never works. I tried all the options including we recommend pressing F2 on start up.

After reading some of the posts on this site I tried to go to F8 and select safe, that would help me to get into windows Mode but it takes me again the same startup again repair program and I'm back to square 1.  Can someone come up with ideas on how to solve this problem.  I would be very grateful.  I cannot go into the command prompt, but I do not know any programming language.

I don't have an installation disk when I bought my laptop because everything was already installed and I did a backup drive or anything like that.  I really want to back up everything on my hard drive because there is a lot of info out there.  Help, please.

Hello

to save you from data

1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read the data in this way

2 buy a hard disk USB mount your hard drive enclosure plugged into a USB port on the computer to abother and to read and save your data in this way

3. try Knoppix Live CD data recovery

but this method 3 only works if your portable computer equipment works properly

http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

as you have no success with safe mode trying to manufacture your own startup repair disk to try to solve your problem:

the link below is how to download and get a vista disk startup repair, which you can start from the

http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

Here's how to use startup repair system restore command prompt, etc. to bleepingcomputers link below

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

to boot from the dvd drive to be able to you will see a way to get into the bios Setup at the bottom of the screen or command menu start

It would be F2 or delete etc to enter the BIOS or F12 etc. for the start menu

Change boot order it do dvd drive 1st in the boot order

http://helpdeskgeek.com/how-to/change-boot-order-XP-Vista/

and if all else fails and you need to reinstall vista are the normal methods for computers preinstalled vista portable

Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send vista recovery discs

they do it for a nominal cost of $

also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

Ask them of the exact key sequence

If you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

Access your product download page and reinstall the software for bluetooth under networks:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?OS=2093 & LC = on & DLC = in & CC = US & Product = 3716846 & lang = in

then, under network connections in the network and sharing window - see if you have a bluetooth adapter that is listed.  If you do not use bluetooth, you can turn it off or you should be able to set it up properly.

If fails it then in Control Panel, under administrative tools, Services - locate service BTtray and disable it.

    Hi Patgariepy,

What operating system is installed on the computer?

You get this error if the drivers are not updated, or if the driver has been corrupted. I suggest measures are:

Method 1: Bluetooth device driver update. Steps to update the device driver:

    a. click on start
    b. Select Control Panel
    c. Select system and maintenance
    d. click Device Manager (if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.)
    e. in the Device Manager, look for the Blue tooth device
    f. click on the driver tab and then select Player update

Repair of the system showed the error Impossible to repair in the same way his unable to restore and unable to start with last successful boot setting.

Kindly let me know what to do I have lots of important data in my hard drive that I don't want to lose.

    Hello

Unless the drive itself is completely fried the data on disk can be recovered by putting the hard drive
in another computer as 2nd or a case of external hard drive using a USB connection - then the data
likely to be backed up or copied to other media.

Of course, the major problem is that the system does not boot even in Safe Mode.

Setup/settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 so screen shows that it boots CD/DVD on the 1st in the boot order-
Start with a Windows 7 disc and try the Startup Repair tool. Also, try restoring the system from there. (Don't forget to)
Set the boot order to when.)

The system has RAID? If so, it is very suspicious.

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E which is also 0x1000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. TO
interpret, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in theinc directory
the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the
    • Reference of the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2
(the address of the exception) must identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If the exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system
has been launched with the /nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly,
Make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with the Switch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Make sure all new hardware that is installed is listed in the
    • List of Microsoft Windows Marketplace tested products.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A service driver or defective peripheral system can be
    • responsible for this error. Hardware problems, such as the incompatibilities of the BIOS, memory, conflicts
    • and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable
or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during startup
sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use safe
Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the system startup procedure
in Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third remote
control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the boot of the computer service
by using the Recovery Console, and then by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the
device or the driver that generated the bug check 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You should also
Run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system.
For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or
Once the installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and system
BIOS incompatibilities. For problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with the absence of disc
space, reduce the number of files on the disk drive hard target. Find and delete any temporary
the files that you do not have to have files hidden Internet, backup application and.chkfiles files that
contain fragments of file saved to disk scans. You can also use another hard drive with more drive
free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

Also run CheckDisk, so we cannot exclude as much as possible of the corruption.

Often drivers up-to-date will help, usually video, sound, network card (NIC), WiFi, part 3
keyboard and mouse, as well as of other major device drivers.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Unable to start: freeze "starting Windows."

I am unable to boot Vista. The start Windows logo appears, the drive activity light flashes for a few seconds and remains off.

A sure start Gets the extent of loading CLASSPNP. SYS, and then freezes.

Technical data: Sony Vaio VGN-FZ280. Vista SP2

First of all, the problem came when I was watching a DVD on an external display (HDMI). The computer has suddenly just reset and would not restart afterwards.

If Safe Mode does not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    See you soon.
