  The principle is simple in nature, although the tape recorder is not the best option available for you, even in free software for audio recording you can.

  Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup unit and transfer of media has been planned with you keep a master copy of your media on a computer that is itself saved separately against loss.  To use a device with a different configuration, you pass the old library from a computer or a backup directly in the new configuration, not the device to the library.   My son has re-synchronized his music on the iphone 6 several times recently and then some of his songs disappear less than 24 hours later? Help?  It seems to stay synched while on our home network but then the songs disappear once it arrives somewhere else - has something to do with the fact that it uses then another network?

  Music synchronized to an iPhone must stay turned on it regardless of the network that is currently using the device. Music Apple, iTunes game or iCloud music library was enabled anywhere? Is it actually connect to the library on your network home rather than copy media to the device?

  I have an iPhone 16GB 6 and much more of 16GB of music on my MacMini so I use "Selected playlists, artists, etc." to synchronize some of my music on my phone but lately, I've noticed that some artists and other things are still popping up even if they have not been selected in itunes on my Mac Mini.

  It was nice ok and even a little a way Fund listening to music I haven't heard for a moment while I had enough space on the phone to take pictures and what not but now I get the "Almost complete storage" message and my phone cut videos when I try and take a more than a few seconds.

  I called Apple today and they said it was because my 'Purchased' playlist will always remain on my phone even though I had not chosen in the lists that I wanted to include via iTunes. The guy helped me remove this playlist but says I need to restore a backup to storage refresh to display the free space.

  I restored a backup, and the free space has not yet shown up to so I have now deleted all the playlists, artists, genres and songs from my phone to see if all the songs, I knew are in the purchase list were in fact in some of these lists and the same list of purchased music appears on my phone.

  Is it possible to get rid of this?

  If you remove the 'Purchased' playlist by default your iPhone, then what is on your iPhone should be what you have chosen in iTunes for synchronization.  You can confirm this by looking at your device when it is connected to iTunes, check out the music on your iPhone content section and note the number of songs (or just go to settings / general / about on your iPhone and see how many songs is indicated).  Compare to the selections that you have selected for synchronization to see if it is the same number of songs.  If it don't add up, then start to search for music synchronization settings, sometimes you will find that an album, artist or genre is ticked that you didn't expect.

  But you could have something else than music that is too much space, check your settings in sync for movies and TV shows and look your picture settings (for example if you use iCloud photo library, you optimize storage?)  What about applications that store documents or other data?  Look at your device use in settings and see what fits the most space in addition to the music.

  It must be that the ringtones in less than 40 seconds, in AAC format (normally represented by .m4a) with a .m4r file extension. Drop the .m4r file into / automatically add to iTunes. If the file is a valid ringtone, it is worth adding to the tones of the library section. If iTunes rejects it then it should move to a folder not added automatically add to iTunes folder. No case, then iTunes can still be regarded as ordinary music.
