  It has come to my attention that my laptop will not install updates of the firmware.
  I tried all updates firmware on the Web from Toshiba site and on-site support for other countries but still no luck.

  My laptop is a series of Satellite Pro A300 PSAG9E and when I try and install a firmware update a box telling me it's not compatible with my system.

  You have a TS-L632P and TS-L632H drive?
  Isn't it? Then you cannot update the firmware.

  I tried several times to update the firmware on my printer HP LaserJet CM1415fnw.  I get the happy face after the utility.

  The Firmware datecode remains to 20111215 even after I use the utility to update the firmware in the 20120629 date.

  The PC that I use is Windows 7 64-bit OS.  (I tried 3 different PC with the same result.)

  1. tap on settings

  2. press on Service

  3. press on the RFU.

  4. highlight on, then press ENTER to set.

  Try to update the firmware again and let me know what happens?

  Installation instructions

  Flash Firmware Update Notes:
  The firmware update utility uses the network or a USB connection to the printer.

  • HP Color LaserJet Professional CM1415 MFP series printer driver software must be installed before using this utility.
  • The HP Color LaserJet Professional CM1415 MFP printer must be on and in a READY State, as indicated by the LCD screen of the control panel and remain under tension during the process of updating entire firmware.
  • 1415fn HP LaserJet Pro printer MFP series CM color must be connected and able to print documents from the computer.
  • The RFU on the control panel (Service-> RFU) must be set to 'ON'
  • Depending on the speed of your PC processor, the firmware update process may end on the printer before the end of the progress bar to update status in the utility to update firmware flash on the screen of the PC, it's normal.
  • Once the update process has started, do not use your PC for other activity, until the process is complete.
  • Do not power cycle the product or the computer until the firmware update process.

    Process:
    1 download the update firmware from HP.com flash on your desktop.

    8 power cycle are NOT the product or the computer that during this process or the product may become unstable and or unusable without further attention of HP. The firmware flash update can take up to 5 minutes to complete. Please be patient.
    9 in the flash firmware update product, display on the product control panel will display "Print Document - delete - programming - complete - Hewlett-Packard - loans - initialization - Ready". Once the download is complete, the printer is in the ready state.
    10. at the end of the update of the firmware, the dialog window displays a smiley face. Click exit.
    11. the firmware flash update process is complete.

  12. If you want to check the update, use the menu of reports under Setup Control Panel to print a configuration report. The configuration report displays the current firmware revision in the block of product information. If the firmware datecode don't change, check the setting of the RFU in the Service from the control panel Menu - it must be 'ON' for a successful update.

• Unable to update firmware for the PERC 5 controller / i on PE1950

  We have 6 PE1950 server with SAS PERC 5 / i integrated RAID controllers. Dell OpenManage complains about being obsolete PERC firmware. 2 servers I currently have running, firmware 5.2.1 - 0062 and 5.1.1 - 0040. I downloaded the latest version of 5.2.2 - 0072. I tried the update by the Windows package and who did not, and he complain about the OS being too recent. A server is Windows Server 2008 R2 and the other Windows Server R2 2012.   The upgrade via TFTP client did not work. TFTP could not establish a connection.

  Solution has been upgraded to firmware via the Telnet client.

  SO I checked up on top of things and as of today, mg1242br is the latest firmware. The firmware has published to the update server is the same firmware that is available for download from the HP Web site. I sent you a private message with some info also.

  There are a few things you can try. If you have configured multiple paths you can remove one of the controllers, wait 5 minutes and then put it back and try to do the update. Or you can try to clear the log of events and then update the Firmware.

  I'm unable to update firmware on mac mini without cd-rom.

  I tried to burn iso image to USB via disk utility, but folowwing error:

  "Unable to validate the source - invalid argument.

  Can you provide iso correct or dmg that can be used with the mac disk utility as seems that I don't have a way to upgrade the ssd firmware now?

  P.S. I tried unetbootin on win and mac, tried to copy the iso contents with dd in terminal but mac still do not see my USB stick on the charge.

  After dozens of solutions on I finally took ssd at my mini mac, put it in the HP laptop with cd-rom, update firmware and restore mini. Thank you apple for sucky usb support and sandisk for silence loading...

  BIOS, iDRAC, Lifecycle Controller firmwares are newer. I tried to upgrade from iDRAC and directly from controller (using SUU) life cycle, the same thing. haven't tried yet the OS. I want to update firmware, because she refuses to get DHCP address when you try to boot from PXE to deploy the operating system.   Well, it took some searching.  The latest version of firmware that I could find was little out August 2, 2003 (version 1.040.2) part No. C4168-67907 listed as "HILL of DIMM KIT - ROCK".   That said, as of March 31, 2009, the product is no longer a support and spare parts may no longer be available.  I gathered this information by your request directly - however, don't believe not that the firmware update will solve the problem of 'page spew' reported.  I went through the list of firmware for different DIMM firmware versions fix and see nothing corresponding to your symptomatic behavior.

  If your workflow printing is to point and print (customers who print via a print server) Please ensure that the server and clients pilots match.  You can always remove the printer connection client and restore to ensure that binary correspondents sells.  Driver version is important, because the old specific drivers are not supported or even stable with current operating systems.  I suggest you switch for the driver of Microsoft OS Inbox for testing.

  Suggestions were made to try to PCL 5 or PS, I think that the essential thing here is to make sure you are using the latest driver for your product and the OS.

  You have transferred the kit in 'ASCII' mode or text.   You should use BINARY mode.   Remove this file kit, and then type BIN before starting the transfer.

  In addition, Yes, you must remove these files from the two base.  This will free up the space you need.

  The issue seems to have resolved itself. The terms and conditions page is loaded and now updates are allowed. Just a temporary problem, I guess.
