  I'm trying to backup of a domain controller with the syncsort backup software. Currently when I try to run a backup job job errors. I worked with the support of syncsort and have located the question to be a vss of NTDS writer. After the reboot the box, everything seems fine but if I try to run a task, that the particular author (NTDS) States that it is "out of resources." I'm not sure whats causing this or how to check.   If I connect directly to the host ESX 4 it works fine.

  If you use vcenter to manage your servers from another computer. You should try to disable the windows firewall on the vcenter computer that manages the esx server.   I'm at a complete loss here. I don't know if its something to do with this specific machine, or if something has changed on the side things server.

  A little history:

  I have joined two other machines to the domain about 3 weeks.

  Meanwhile, a machine has been infected by a ransomware. We completely removed all traces of infection of the machine network drives and mapped the proxy infected. The infected machine is used as a pointer for direct research. Could something have changed within the machine itself? Should I remove it?

  We have restored the mapped via a stored backup files.

  I do not know if somehow widespread infection among the mapped drives to records of service on the server itself change something along the way.

  Help would be greatly appreciated.

• I'm unable to start the service for the name of the account to Network Service on Windows Server 2008.

  I have a service, I want to run under the network service on windows French account. Computer is not in the field, but in the working group.

  Service is installed via install and uses the WinAPI functions to get the name of a valid account of localized, which is the AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK.

  The problem is that service fails with errors in the following event viewer:

  (1) service depends on the Net Logon service which failed to start because of the following error:
  The operation was successful.

  (2) this computer is configured as a member of a workgroup, and not as a member of a domain. It is not necessary to perform the service access network in this configuration.

  However, if I go to the properties of this Service, Log On tab and button Browse... to address the NETWORK SERVICE account, it sticks "Network Service" value in field and function successfully starts. Note that it may not resolve the display name 'AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK'.

  Another thing is that when I put the computer in the domain that manages all the service suddenly starting with 'AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK' account but the system does not transform it in "Network Service" on English windows.

  So is this a bug on a French OS? Is there a solution? How can I get programmatically "converted" version of the account name ('AUTHORITY NT\SERVICE NETWORK'-> 'Network Service')?

  We are two developers working on the same .uir at the same time. Y at - it all the tools that would allow us to merge our own changes? If not, is there a way to avoid us to make changes at the same time.

  I am on windows 2008 r2 on a virtual machine, in a field with a machine virtual windows 7. It is hosted on my computer windows 7.

  I had the configuration of the field very well, everything was functional with network etc, I changed that would connect the server machine locally in assignment policies user right. I was aware that I had everything works fine, but when I came back after an hour or so, I tried to connect it to my account has full administrator rights and I get this message, "you can not connect because the logon method, you use is not allowed on this computer. See your network administrator for more information. »

  I thought I added something like only a certain group of users can connect and none of my accounts are in this group of users.

  I think I'd be able to solve the problem if I could connect to access account policies, but I can't in my machine at all.

• Unable to connect to the server under any account except in safe mode - Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.

  My Windows Server 2008 R2 does not all connect directly to the server - level of the console or via the desktop remotely.  The symptom is that Active Directory is not running.  I tried to connect computers MacBook with OS X (10.5) to active directory.  I can log on to your desktop and see all the network shares, so all users seem to work OK - performance is slower than usual.  Logging indicates the user ID or password is not valid, but they are working on the jobs or when we book in safe mode.  DCDiag does not work because it cannot log in with credentials.
