Unavailable Skype home
I have problems to use Skype on my Windows 7 laptop. Until recently, it was fine, in fact he worked on this laptop for well over a year, but now when I run Skype I get a message saying that Skype unavailable home. On my netbook with Windows 7 starter, it works fine...
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Skype, have doen a system restore, but nothing works. What is going on?
Did you check the status of your own connection on Skype? It is online? The status icon (the one to the left of your name) should be green with a white check mark inside. You can try to change the status by using the drop-down arrow next to this icon.

Hello, my house Skype has stopped working on my desktop, it works very well on the IOS app and my laptop which is on my second account.

All these programs and much more may not work for some reason that I tried the firewall to fix and avg and mcafee that I found that it wasn't on avg, or mcafee

If you have changed the proxy settings in Internet Explorer, please disable proxy and check if it works very well.
a. open Internet Explorer.
b. click on tools.
c. click on Internet Options.
d. click on connections.
e. click on LAN settings.
f. remove the checkmark next to Proxy Server.
g. click OK.
h. restart the browser.
Please check the event viewer for any error message related to the issue.
