Unbootable

Hello

I was with my HP Pavilion G4 with windows 7 more early tonight when the screen suddenly overshadowed. No pop, no sizzle, just deleted.

I close it using the power button and tried to restart. All I get is a very quick flash of the LED on the caps lock button. It also flashes when I turn it off.

The LED on the power button is on the orange WIFI indicator. If the power cord is plugged in the LED is also.

None of them is flashing and there is no beeps.

I don't think the backlight on the screen appeared on either.

I tried battery reset several times.

All hope?

Paul

Hi Paul,.

You can try taking the battery and just plug in the AC adapter to see if the laptop back in life.

If this is not the case, the problem can be caused by your video card, LED or the motherboard.

In this case, I suggest you go to an authorized service center HP for a quote that should fix the laptop.

PS. I think that the information in the hard drive are still there, so you can retrieve the data later.

    Hello.

My AT100 unbootable. After about 10 minutes of wearing the Toshiba sign stuck to the arc in sky-Fireworks. I already tried to drag the cache (button + volume up / stop), did not work. I tried a second time, and then he said that he could not access a cache partition or find a cache of newspaper. I then tried the factory reset option - once again without success.

    Help. Please, I beg you.

I think you must visit your dealer and if the warranty is valid, the unit will be repaired or replaced.

Also, we went to electronics, Fry's and bought a new power supply, a N500 Lepa, which is a power of 500w. We have successfully installed your new diet.

Now, when I removed the old GPU, and put in the new GPU, PC turns on, the Red led light on the front comes on and stay red, but the PC unbootable. The screen is black, and it is not initialized.

I once forgot to connect the power supply to the GPU. That day the PC started to boot the system & I was able to use logmein remote inside to turn it off, but once the machine was turned off again and I plugged the power of pin PCIexpress 6 pay-per-view, same behavior. PC is out of warranty w / HP, so that they are without help.

I went to the website of HP and the BIOS update. still no luck.

We have added some third-party RAM. I tried to remove the third-party RAM to see if it was the question. Does not solve it. I tried to remove the OEM ram and install just the 3rd part of RAM, but has not made a difference either.

  • Vista unbootable - PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA

Dell inspiron 1525, bought in 8/08. My nieces and had not started since 5/09. Does not start normally, safe mode, all computer fix of good options last known date. I have the Dell reinstallation DVD and disabled each startup option in the BIOS but the optical drive. It starts loading and then when load goes directly back to BSON - I can't even boot with the dvd and all options the other boot off. BSOD indicated above with the following details:

The story is that I got this because she has lost the power cord and battery drained and she said she had "problems" - no details and do not ask a 20-year-old. I upok TI started and everything worked except for a bunch of boot errors (Delldock has stopped working, wireless tray stopped working and others). Understand that these may have been caused by additional Dell free trial software or perhaps spies/virus software. She had Defender and no antivirus. Also, he had 52 Windows updates pending (recommended) and 3 (option). I hit update and ran a few hours and froze. I turned off and restarted and thought maybe a virus problem and load of F-Secure (from my ISP) and spyware doctor and ran and no real problems. So, I'll stop, rebooted, set the automatic updates to run daily at 1:00, woke and it would close down with running updates (was on 2 of 4) is home from work 11 hours later and always on 2 of the 4. My patience tried me and I turn it off. Able to reboot and there were only 6 Microsoft updates. Read a Dell thread that Delldock causes all kinds of problems with the pop-up windows and cutting programs I went into the Panel and struck to remove it. Ran a few minutes and froze and went to blue screen and made a sort of receiving data. Then the unbootable condition above. As said, I can't get any type of shoe to do anything, even to a resettlement drive. I'm not very computer smart and very uptight. Suggestions?

    Hello

You have the CD/DVD in 1st in the boot order? (not only have others disabled).

That error is the most often material and because it will be not boot from the Vista disc, which are pretty
much confirmed. Try changing the memory in and out. For anything else, you will need technical support

6 Lightroom unbootable after an update... I reinstalled the software, but it still won't start? Updated through the creative cloud but still does not start?  What should do?

My computer is a PC with Windows 10.
Everything worked well before the Update Adobe Lightroom 6.
The software was purchased in a shop (FNAC) with software to download map, it is saved in my account (Adobe) with its serial number. Why is this so difficult thing to reinstall Adobe software?

    I apologize for the inconvenience.

Since it appears and disappears from the Task Manager, it seems that Lightroom crashes.

We have seen this kind of problem on Windows 10 when Visual C++ Reditsributable 2012 update 4 is not installed correctly, it is necessary to run certain programs. You might have encountered until now Adobe programs that require it.

Otherwise, there could be another cause of this accident and if C++ installation does not help, then you need to share the event viewer crash logs. See this article for in crash logs: Photoshop Elements Editor Help. How to find the crash logs on to Windows

  • Adobe AAM unbootable...

I have CC (Photoshop only), but since the installation of the CC Manager, AAM is unbootable.

If I click on the shortcut of the MAO, I get the CC Manager.

I tried to uninstall MAO, but could not find it in the list of programs to uninstall (Windows 7 64-bit).

I deleted the folder OOBD containing AAM and AAM re-uploaded and re-installed.  Who installed a shortcut to MAO on my desk again (I had deleted the previous shortcut).  Certainly, he points to AAM (see below), but when I click it up comes the CC Manager.

I CAN start the AAM opening Photoshop-CC, then go on "help |" Updates"- seems a bit round point how to get MAO?

    "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common ' - appletID = CCM_UI - appletVersion = 1.0 - flow = CCM_workflow_launch

The new version of creative cloud desktop displays only the latest applications of CC (cc of photoshop, indesign, cc etc.).

You can continue to use the CS6 and update the application in the Help menu.

The problem is that I have my degree work on it! Can someone help me, please?

    Thank you, David

    Hello

I don't know what youre problem is exactly. Please explain what you´ve does. Have you recently installed something or update drivers or BIOS? Without this information, no one can help you.

A little trick that you might try: remove the battery and the power adapter and leave the machine for 1 hour or something around. Then reconnect everything (battery and AC adapter) and try if the machine starts. If the computer laptop won´t boot, you must send it to an authorized service partner.

    Welcome them

  • Re: Satellite C850 unbootable - broken HARD drive

    Hello people,

    I bought a * Toshiba Satellite C850 - 1F2 * with * + Windows 8 + *.
After installation, the upgrade to * + Windows 8.1 + * and setting up everything, the whole machine worked well enough.

BUT since yesterday, the laptop no longer starts!
When I turn it on, the HARD drive is click and click and the system tries to boot from DVD, USB, HARD drive, IPv4, IPV6, and then he said, that there is no boot device.

Unfortunately, I tried to do the + restore Windows 8 - backup - DVD + this weekend!
    Huh!

Well, I have one more * + Windows-7-DVD original and license + *, which would be good as well (I used it in recent years).
    * YET *, I can't install * + Windows 7 + *.
He says something like that, that this system is not available for Secure Boot +.

    I read about 'Secure Boot'.
So I pressed F2, turned on the laptop and managed with this BIOS.
    It's a * + InsydeH20 Rev 3.7 + *.
    * BUT *, when I go to "Boot Mode" I don't see myself, this option is grayed out and I cannot change the UEFI Boot + to ++ CSM Boot +.

Even changing the HARD drive made no difference.
I put in my old HDD with Windows 7 installed (which works in the other laptop), but the system does not start, because it is + not suitable for Secure Boot +.

    * Then, of WHAT NOW? *
I mean, we can't really politics of Toshiba, you need to take your laptop, if the HARD drive breaks, it can?
Because I create the rescue-DVD, I just my DVD of Windows 7 and an another HARD drive and installed Windows 7.

I have to buy another license of Windows 8 and an another disk to reinstall Windows 8 (suitable for Secure Boot)?
Would it even work like that?
Or is it possible to upgrade the BIOS for it, I can then change boot UEFI to CSM Boot?
Or is there another chance, to use my other HDD with Windows 7, or at least a new HARD clean disk, on which I can then install my Windows 7 operating system?

I hope someone can give me good advice, what to do now... without throwing the Toshiba laptop ;)

    Thanks in advance!

    > I hope that someone can give me good advice, what to do now... without throwing the Toshiba laptop
Let's start with this sentence. You must not throw your laptop. There's always a last stage that can be done and in your case, you can contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.
This model of laptop is fairly new, so I can imagine that the warranty is still valid, so I think you should contact the service and ask if you can get a new HARD drive for free. I mean why not if the warranty is still valid.

    Hello

I own a nb200 netbook and tonight it froze when I was surfing. When I try to reboot my schreen turns black (blinking cursor top left schreen).

When I try to activate the recovery (by pressing '0' or 'F2') schreen turns black with * HDD RECOVERY MODE * (schreen lower-left) and stop there.

    Any body have an idea?

    Greetings

    Hello

Looks like a problem of HARD drive for me.
I had a similar problem with the same blinking cursor. In my case, the HARD drive died.
I had to replace the HARD drive and reinstall the system again.

In your case, I recommend to check the BIOS.
Check if the HARD drive is listed and recognized correctly. Details of HARD drive should be listed. If the HARD disk does not appear in the BIOS, then I would recommend replacement of this part.

  • Satellite M505-9490 - operating system unbootable

So this morning, I rebooted my computer to find it wouldn't boot beyond the Toshiba screen. After that, it becomes black and cannot be persuaded to do anything.
I tried to start in safe mode, but the same thing happens. I can't assume the OS files somehow has been entirely corrupted or the HD is shot.

Part of the confusion is that she worked a-okay and then suddenly, nothing.
Any way to deal with other than reformatting?

    Hello

You can enter the BIOS settings (set by default)?
    Disk recognized and listed correctly?
When you start F12 at startup HARD drive is listed as peripheral start?

What operating system do you use?
If you cannot boot OS in safe mode there must be a serious problem. On this path, it is not easy to say what is happening exactly but maybe you should try to launch the installation of recovery to see if there is full access to the HARD drive. If this does not work, I assume that HDD is troublemaker.

Try to get the new HARD drive for testing purposes.

    Hello

I put t understand why you have disassembled this laptop if you have no experience with this fault diagnostic.

Believe me; usually it of not possible to provide a diagnosis exactly. For me, it looks like a motherboard failure, perhaps also the lack of CPU operation but who knows!

Without a laptop, check it s not easy to say what's wrong. So I think that you will need to contact the ASP in your country for assistance.

    Hey,.

It looks like a hardware issue to me. You should try to remove the battery and the AC adapter. Wait an hour and after that connect the two devices again. Try restarting the laptop and hope that it will work! ;)

If this isn't the case it seems to be a hardware malfunction, maybe the motherboard needs to be replaced. I put t know if you want to spend the money for this oldie, but on eBay, you can get second hand parts maybe they are cheaper or you buy a new laptop.
