Underpayment to destroy the VM in vRA7

Hello.  I run a POC in the House for vRA7 and that you have installed and configured a minimal deployment and have set up the deployment into a test vCenter.

Everything looks good and I have created a simple model to set up a virtual Windows machine. This works as expected and the deployment is complete, and I see the resulting virtual machine in my list of items.

However, when I try to destroy the configured virtual computer, I see the following error message

and the following text in the file catalina.out on the device.

catalina.out:2016 - 02-08 13:02:49, 111 vcac: [component = "coffee: catalog" priority = "NOTIFY" thread = "tomcat http - 29" tenant = "lab" context = "" token = "" "] com.vmware.vcac.platform.service.rest.resolver.RestApplicationExceptionHandlerResolver.logException:189 - execution of Manager has exception: you are authorized to perform ' {com.vmware.csp.component.cafe.composition@resource.action.deployment.destroy.name}' to the point ' Windows 2012-87782490'. '.

Service catalog has the action to destroy as a right.

version of the vRA is 7.0.0 Build 3292778

Looks like a schoolboy on my type error. I had the authorization to destroy on the plan of action, no not on deployment. Adding this solved my problem

    This model encrypted?

    If this is not the case, how to destroy the hard drive? Where is the hard drive?

    Hi @Diane47,

    Thanks for joining the Forums of HP Support with your request to printer.

    I understand that you have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer you plan to elimination and you wonder if the hard disk is encrypted and how to destroy the hard drive. I would like to help with that.

    HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer don't have a hard drive. It contains a very small amout of memory, so it can keep in memory the printer and fax settings.

    You can clear the memory by restyoring the printer back to the default values.

    1. on the printer Panel, select Setup.

    2. from the Configuration menu, select Tools.

    3. on the Tools menu, select Restore Factory Defaults.

  • PSC 750: elimination of printing, destroy the hard drive

    I have an old HP PSC 750 printer I have is going to be recycling and want to destroy the hard drive for security reasons.  Where is the hard drive and how I will destroy?

    Hello @Dotsie99, greetings!

    Thank you for visiting the Forums from the HP Support! It's a good place to find the help you need, other users, HP experts and other support staff.

    I appreciate that you try to throw your old printer and worries about the security of the data.

    You don't need to worry about your printer HP PSC 750 with no any hard drive. None of the PSC series and none of the Photosmart printers that use two or more cartridges have a hard drive.

    The printer does not store the printed pages. So please go ahead and have the printer.

    Hope that answers your questions and have a nice day!

  • dynamically create and destroy the custom menu item

    I have a standard TestStand platform that I use on multiple systems.  On some systems, I have a few sequences of calibration and I would like to have the Update menu to have the RunSequence of these sequences of calibration.  I know how to manually create these menu items, but they are no longer valid for some sequence files.  I would use the sequence SequenceFileLoad to dynamically create menu items and the SequenceFileUnload to destroy these menu items.

    I've played around with the API, but cannot determine the correct path to get to the create and destroy the custom menu items.  Does anyone know how this can be done?

    Thank you

    Matthew

    Yes, see the online help for the members of the following APIs:

    Engine.GetEditTimeToolMenuItems

    EditTimeMenuItems

    EditTimeMenuItem

    Basically, you get a collection of tool using Engine.GetEditTimeToolMenuItems () menu items and then call EditTimeMenuItems.Insert () or EditTimeMenuItems.Remove (). If you insert a you get returns an EditTimeMenuItem object on which you can change the settings.

    In addition, since it has an expression to hide items in menu tool, you need not necessarily to destroy, you can hide them instead.

    Hope this helps,

    -Doug

  • Destroy the function of flow endpoint

    When using the diffuse network of functions, I noticed that my EXE does not release the memory. I've been tracking to create features of network streams. I do not destroy the flow, but it's as if the reference is still valid. Does anyone know of another way to do this?

    Thank you

    This seems to be a known bug. We're supposed to be fixed in SP1 LV2010

  • Sheet.close () destroys the sheet as well?

    It is in this area. When I open a new sheet, let's say with id: leaf and create a button in this journal.

    Calls the method sheet.close () of the key, destroy the leaf as well?

    Don't want the problems of memory etc.

    Thank you.

    Generally, it's good to reuse them (make sure that you are not creating multiple instances).

    BUT in gold SDK, there is a bug specifically targeting the Application menu. The application will crash when you view the sheet for the second time since the ActionItem menu of the Application Manager. This thread has a workaround:

  • destroy the page created with C++

    Hello

    How do I destroy a thrust from a NavigationPane page when the page is created with C++.

    Here is the code:

    // applicationui.cpp

    Page* ApplicationUI::doLoadPageDetails(QString fn) {

      QmlDocument *qml = QmlDocument::create("asset:///PageDetails/PageDetails.qml").parent(this);
     [...]  Page *newPage = qml->createRootObject();

      return newPage;
    }

    When I open the app displays a ListView. When I push on one of the elements in the list the PageDetails page is shown.

    // main.qml

    [...]onTriggered: {
                        var selectedItem = dataModel.data(indexPath);

                        var page = app.doLoadPageDetails(selectedItem.toString());

                        navigationPane.push(page);
    }

    Now, I have written a delete action in the application.cpp

    void ApplicationUI::popFinished(bb::cascades::Page* page) {
        delete page;
    }

    and used in the main.qml in onPopTransitionEnded:

    onPopTransitionEnded: {
            // Destroy the popped Page once the back transition has ended.
            app.popFinished(page);
        }

    But it's not destroy the page. Can someone tell me how to get destroyed page when you press the ButtonBack?

    The count method gave me what I expected when I start the application number is 1-> home page.

    When I click on an item on the next page open-> count = 2.

    When I come back-> count = 1.

    But I solved the problem.

    The second page is filled with information from functions in C++. So in my additional popFinished function on page "Delete" now also clear the list of contacts with the clear function, as I said before.

    void ApplicationUI::popFinished(bb::cascades::Page* page) {
        Contacts.Clear();
        delete page;
    }

    I install some components, but they can only be destroyed if the application will be closed.  Currently, a mistake is cause attesting that they are not made when the application is closed.

    What I am unsure of is how to reference the alias or objectname to a definition of compoenent in c ++ and then destroy it.

    ApplicationUI::~ApplicationUI()
    {
      // Destroy the sound manager.
        ComponentDefinition *myDef = bb::cascades::Application::instance()->findChild("myDef");
            qDebug() << "Destroying Definition";
            myDef->destroy();
    }

    Only, I was not able to find how to link the component definition in c ++ because it doesn't have a #include<>

    If not, is there something in qml who inform me just before the application closes, so can I do this?

    Normally, you can solve it by setting the parent of all objects you create in your definition. The parent must be something that you know will be destroyed when your application is closed, as the app itself class.

    I don't think you should look for ComponentDefintion but because it's just a factory for components, you do not create. You should rather look for the type of object that creates the definition.

    Also, do you you know that some objects of Cascades don't clean up after them properly and may generate errors no 'no' even if you do everything right. Why don't post it your console error messages because it can help you get an answer better than this one.

    You need to contact Adobe directly for this kind of request, but I don't hold much hope.  They no longer support the older products and are more likely to get that back here as soon as you mention nothing other than to request a reset of your activation.  If they send you back here, I recommend trying to find a member of staff and private messaging to see if they'll lend a hand.

    The solution is a very useful shortcut, but requires a bit of dexterity.

    Of is it: Ctrl + Alt + Shift + e. (Yes, 4 keys at the same time).

    This creates a new layer that is the fusion of visible layers.

    To be on the top layer and don't have ensure that active useful layers.

  • Why FF 13.0.1. destroy the bookmarks/toolbars 11.0 FF

    FF automatically upgrade my 11.0 FF FF 13.0.1. In the process, he destroyed all my favorites and toolbars. How can I get these?

    Problems with bookmarks and history does not properly can be caused by a corrupted database places.sqlite file.

    You can try to check and repair the database of places with this extension:

    Make sure the toolbars like the toolbar 'Navigation' and the 'personal bar' are visible: "view > toolbars".

    • Open the window to customize the toolbars to display the value

      • View > toolbars > customize
      • Firefox > Options > toolbars
    • Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" are on the personal bar
    • If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the bookmarks toolbar, then FRY it in the toolbar palette in the window the bookmarks toolbar Customize
    • If the missing elements are in the toolbar palette then drag them from the window, customize the toolbar
    • If you do not see an item on a toolbar in the toolbar palette and then click the button "Restore default" to restore the default toolbar set up

  • I have to removeChild() after that I destroyed the variable?

    Hi there, inside my application there will be a button that when you press on, it will "reset" of the entire application and start over.

    Now I have 2 questions.

    One is, if I want to completely destroy a variable and clear the cache, I have use = null; for all the right variable?

    The second is, after I destroyed a variable of the image. Should I always use removeChild() to remove it?

    addChild and removeChild adds and deletes objects from the display list. removeChild, does not remove the object, it just removes it from the display list. It's probably cleaner to remove it from the display list and then setting it null, so that the display list loop not on something that does not exist. Is not necessary, but cleaner.
