• Add to keychain but no AutoFill

  I want to store all of my passwords with Keychain Access iCloud, but I don't want some passwords to autofill. For example, I don't want my user name and password for Auto-filling for my bank accounts - I always feel like typing in manually. However, I still want these passwords to be stored safely in Keychain Access, in which case I forgot. What is the best procedure to achieve this? Currently, all passwords stored in Keychain Access are AutoFill in Safari do anything. If I delete a specific set of keys and manually type in my name of user and password in Safari and then select never "for this site" when you are prompted to save the password, then the password is not stored. All I want is to store the passwords without AutoFill in Safari them! Thanks in advance!

  I understand that you want to keep your important passwords in haberdashery, but you don't want them to be autofilled using Safari. You can set the right to auto-fill your Safari app settings.   Change AutoComplete settings:

  Choose Safari > Preferences, and then click AutoFill.

  To enable or disable AutoFill, select the information you want to include in the auto-complete, uncheck the rest.

  To change or remove the information AutoFill, click on Edit next to the information you want to edit or delete.

  Important: Safari auto your information to anyone who uses your Mac with your user login. It also auto your information to anyone who uses your devices if these devices and your Mac have iCloud Keychain set in place.

  I try to refine my use of passwords on my different computers and I wonder if someone wouldn't mind offering their expertise in a repair tutorial.

  the problem is that I have safari on a laptop and a desktop computer, and these are connected via icloud. I also have an iphone. no doubt all these are connected to the same (?) I guess that KEYCHAIN that stores passwords for things like Web sites and credit cards and autocompleting of personal information.

  then I also have the 1Pass for mac software.

  I tend to store passwords in the 1Pass software but also click to confirm the storage of the passwords in the keychain. However, I do not understand how it works, or if they are related or completely independent or what.

  4 Keychain can provide auto-complete for usernames and passwords in safari, it could also before entering a username and password.   I have encrypted my throught FileVault mac, then use extended ICloud boring start, so I decided to turn it off, when I turned it off Keyring lock open, I saw, I have close to ensure more security, I tried to reopen locks using password but I failed on this subject, then I reboot and I changed the password , in the new paper I chose create new Keychain password, when I get home I couldn't find my files.

  later, I changed my password to the former, I failed login in Keychain, but it not there no files, at first all files past, downloads and all the files, but later after rechanging the password I got records defauls (downloads-pictures..) but they are empty, even google chrome Favorites and plugins went.

  in the keychain, I see 4 keys in Sytem section specified with 'Back to my Mac Key' kind, but I could not / do not know how to use it.

  From your post, I understand that you do not see your iCloud keychain items more. For more information on why your information may be missing, please read the information in the following article.

  If you no longer have your iCloud keychain items

  If you disabled iCloud Keychain on all your devices, your iCloud Keychain is removed from the Cloud. If you have chosen to remove the keychain of your devices when you have disabled iCloud Keychain, your iCloud Keychain is also removed from these devices.

  You will need to install iCloud keychain and add items again. Apple cannot recover your iCloud Keychain if you turn off iCloud Keychain on all your devices and choose to remove your iCloud Keychain locally on all your devices.

  On OS X, if you used Keychain Access to reset your OS X Keychain, OS X will delete your iCloud keychain items. Choose Keychain Access > S.o.s. keychain to verify and repair keychain settings and permissions. If this does not help, reconfigure iCloud keychain. If you need to reset your OS X Keychain again, temporarily disable iCloud Keychain in iCloud preferences before resetting your OS X Keychain.

• How to get rid of the popup multiple keychain?

  Right after that I downloaded the new update of El Captain EO, I had these problems of Keychain popup.  The popup dislikes the password I provide my computer connection password.  If I click on cancel it appears again if I click ok it will disappear some time as an hour or two.  It's so very frustrating, I understand if it was a PC they are pieces of shit, but I've never had a problem with my MAC.  It is so frustrating please FIX THIS!

• Keychain - safari does not display other id

  My understanding is that Keychain can support several usernames and passwords for the same web site.

  If I create them, I can see them in the lei Safari maintains, BUT...

  The only auto Safari fills the last being created. The removal of frame and typing inside ID field bring to the top of the list for me to choose, I understand it's supposed to.

  Trial and error has shown me that I had to type in the PASSWORD field to pull up to the alternatives. Is not intuitive (for me at least) but the problem is solved!

• An error in this Applescript that I can't understand

  Hi, I searched some forums and found this script below which I modified. It works great except for a single statement:

  runScript If = 1 then number error -128 I want the script to do is, when a USB drive is mounted and is in the ignoredVolumes as "USB Untitled" I want the script to stop. What I can't understand is, runScript is set to 1, "Untitled USB" Monte, runScript is not changed, why don't the script stops with an error "user cancelled"? On the other hand, if a key USB Monte is not in the ignoredVolumes, runScript is set to 2 and copy the file I want it. What hurts? It's probably something that will be very obvious when I see the answer.

  Using a MacBook Pro 15 "retina with MacOS Sierra, but this has also happened with El Capitan.

  2. On the Edit menu, choose "Change password for Keychain 'login'."
  3. Enter the old password of your user account in the current password field.
  4. Enter the new password for your user account password.  Enter the same password in the field of verification.
  5. Click OK when finished, then quit Keychain Access.
