  I bought this printer only about a month. I've exhausted the original black ink cartridge, so I bought a new one (genuine HP 63XL).

  I installed the new cartridge and the alignment page is printed, but only the parts of printing color, no black. I tried to print a test page, once again, not black. The ink level software shows that the new cartridge is full.

  I tried to put back the cartridge several times and made sure the protective film is removed completelu.

  I tried to remove the new cartridge to print mode single cartridge. The test page comes out fine; but, when I try to print a document in this way, the printer WILL NOT PRINT AT ALL. There is a little red light next to the black point near the power button.

  I replaced the cartridge on my HP Photosmart c4680 printer a few weeks ago and the print quality looks as if it is low on ink. I followed the instructions on alignment after installation and made sure that I installed the new cartridge. There is no prompt that the ink is low. The other weird thing is sometimes the printer does not start when I turn it on. The screen reads HP and he begins to beep every 10-15 seconds or more.   I doubt that there is no information for this because inkjet printers work differently then laser where they use a percentage of coverage for compiles the approximate pages toner. With Designjet printers there are many variables outside coverage that would be very difficult calculations. You will be dealing with page sizes and even with normal printing or graphic images line densities will have much to different amounts of ink laid according to the original plot, type of paper used, etc.

  The Photosmart 3210 printhead a permanent.  You will need to have available in any color ink not to damage the print head.  Your only option is to get the refill for empty ink cartridges.

  I have a Photosmart e 7510 and am trying to print photos.  I have installed HP Premium paper and HP Photo cartridge installed.  When I print the photos that are green - I printed both a progress report and a report of print quality and the cartridge photo is full but the magenta is empty.  It seems to me that the photos are print with regular color cartridges and not the photo cartridge.  Or photos using all the cartridges?  I correctly on all the printer settings and chose to 'better' than the quality of the photo.

  The photo cartridge is just black photo, which is used to improve the nuances of black and colors in a photo. When photos are printed colours would be used to create the best possible performance. I could replace the magenta cartridge and printing resumes and see if that solves the Green tinting the problem you are currently experiencing. I hope this helps.

  I recently rec'd a new computer with the new windows program (8). Printer works sometimes, but not all the time. The setting was listed as offline. I can't understand how to get online. • HP 4480 print with the color cartridge only.

  The all-in-one Deskjet printer copied a page and printed it happened to be all black text, and I did the copy without using the computer.  When I tried to do the same thing with the second page, only a small symbol of color in this page appeared on the paper.  I tried a new black cartridge, without result; the alignment sheet was only the blue rectangles and an arrow pink.  I tried to clean the printer heads and saw only the colored rectangles, not blacks, on the test page.

  There are a few spots on a page where the ink is gray instead of black, but everything is readable.  Maybe I soaked too long cartridge.

• OfficeJet 4500 G510: officejet 4500 does not print with the new computer

  Bought a new lenovo so it of a new computer running Windows 10 and cannot get printing to work with her.  He moved with a wired ethernet, or even wireless, but does print the test page or anything like that.

  Have uninstalled and reinstalled several times without success.

  Tried to install with a USB cable and that crashes, even bought a new cable and still nothing.

  I put off and then to refresh the printer and that did not help either.

  It seems that there could be a problem with the specific PDF file.

  During the preview of the file, I got a blank page so either Firefox and Safari on my PC and my Mac, but it seems well using CTRL + P to launch the print dialog box.

  Otherwise, you can also try saiving the file to your desktop.

  Open it with Adobe Reader and try to print to instead use the browser.

  I could not see similar problems using Google Chrome, so it might worth a try as well.
