You must have at least Service Pack 3, use of the center of Fix-it.

I think that you also more have installed on your system at the MSXML 6.0 parser (check in Add/Remove Programs).

You can tell them that in the new thread you create there what the problem is that you try to fix and the Fixit you try to get to work.

I have never personally seen a fix it solve anything but maybe they work sometimes. What would we do if there is no solution its? Fix it yourself

Whenever I try to run Microsoft Fix it, I get an error message saying something like "an unexpected error has occurred. The fix that it Wizard cannot continue. "I used to see if the Fix, it would help solve the problem of update that take place on this Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows Vista 32-bit Service Pack 1 with Norton 360. I thought that I had made progress on the issue of the update, but now they are all fail during installation, including Service Pack 2.

The Dell PC Checkup shows as operating without any problems portable equipment.

Couldn't find this name on Google, it is spelled correctly? Could be malware.

Right click on it - properties - Details tab you can determine the author? Is legitimate?

The reason that you can not remove it is that's probably because it loads at startup.

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

The search returns an unexpected error

I just did a fresh install of Windows XP Pro/sp3.

The research and the companion does not work. It returns an error message which: unexpected error: action could be completed.

Disabled the indexing service (using the companion anyway). Same result.

I first tried this:
Start > run > cmd [Enter] [command prompt opens]
regsvr32 jscript.dll [Enter]
Regsvr32 %Windir%\srchasst\srchui.dll [Enter]

I got a positive result on each attempt.

But the search is the same. No error message just looking.

Then I tried the Windows\inf folder for the srchasst.inf file, right click and choose Install. He asks me the SP3 CD, but when I insert that, he won't find the file msgr3en.dll on disk. So he did not finish.

No idea how to get the search works again.

When (attempt to) run Microsoft 'fix it' Center, several problems are immediately identified. However, if I'm including "fix it", on one of these problems, I invariably get the message:

An unexpected error has occurred. The Troubleshooting Wizard can not continue.

If I click on see more details, I get the following information:

The only thing that changes in the details is the path depending on what exactly is trying to 'fix '. Other that that, everything else remains consistent.

Right now, I just want to fix the Fixer.

There are two very serious (IMO) shortcomings in the performance of routines "FixIt" of Microsoft:

1. they are difficult to identify. Thus, when someone posts in a forum of responses that they have a problem with 'FixIt', it is impossible to say what FixIt routine is the origin of the problem.

2. they are cryptic. Less a FixIt is presented in an Article that also includes a section describing a manual process to solve any problem is treated, it is impossible to say what steps the FixIt tries to take and therefore no way to troubleshoot the FixIt, if this does not work as expected.

Whereas the used FixIt can actually focus on the problem, either because the user has selected a FixIt inappropriate or because the FixIt detect and/or correct the real problem despite its alleged purpose, the use of FixIt is often counterproductive.

What version of Windows you have, including the service pack? (Do right click my computer and select Properties, if you do not know.)

What is (are) the problem (s) you are trying to hard?

FYI, there are many discussions in the forum Microsoft difficulty It Center reporting the same exact error you have - but none are resolved. If I were you, I uninstall the difficulty It Center and just ask questions in the forum of responses appropriate for any real problem, you may have.

Windows cannot find any additional network / an unexpected error has occurred

I got this new PC Windows Vista Home Edition x 64 SP2 and I need to connect it to the network wireless in my house because that the router Netgear DG834GT wireless broadband is not very conveniently placed for wired connectivity. I have a Netgear WG111T USB wireless adapter which works fine on my other PC / laptop (XP & Vista, both 32-bit), but I can't make it work on my Vista x 64 PC.

I have installed the version of the driver 2.1.0.26 x 64-compatible for the WG111T and the device works correctly, according to Device Manager.

When I try to 'connect', I get 'Windows cannot find any additional network . " While the other PC at home can pick up 3 wireless networks.

Go until the network & sharing Center, then manage the networks without wire, then Add, then manually create a network profile, I get "unexpected error ."

I spoke to Netgear who insist the player WG111T is compatible with the x 64 visits.

I talked to my PC provider who suggested to try the adapter on another PC Vista x 64 to see if it works there. Problem is, I don't know anyone else with a Vista x 64 PC.

I would be extremely grateful if someone can help me before on this one. Thanks in advance for all advice.

Download the Microsoft fix it and then try to run and check if it works. I suggest you perform the clean boot on the computer and check if Fixit works.

VPN connection: An unexpected error has occurred.

I am suddenly unable to get my built-in VPN connection works on my iMac with OS X 10.11.5. I get the VPN connection message: an unexpected error has occurred. I have been using this VPN configuration to connect to work for several months with success.

But last week (and I do not know if it had nothing to do with it), I went on vacation and used a free wi - fi setup of Tim Hortons. I had a LOT of trouble getting the next login page, and I checked all playing with different settings of network without success. When a change did not work, I put it to its original setting. Finally, I learned to use Safari to access the free WiFi connection page of Tim. Then once connected, everything was OK.

But when I returned a week later and if necessary, to start my VPN connection to access the work, it wouldn't start. I checked and recheck all my settings preferably of different network, but did not find those who were wrong. I even deleted and re-entered my VPN service definition without solving the problem.

Thinking that the problem could be the newly installed ISP of Bell equipment (we went from Rogers while I was away), I used my BlackBerry smartphone (issued by my employer) to create a wi - fi hotspot and accessed to the internet using this connection which completely ignored my home ISP equipment. But still, I was unable to establish a VPN connection.

I then tried my iPad VPN connection, and it worked! Then, I defined a VPN service on the iMac to my wife and the iMac to my daughter and was able to successfully establish a VPN connection to my work very well, using exactly the same VPN configuration. This led me to the conclusion, it was a problem on my iMac (and not with my new ISP or VPN system of my work that had none of the changes you made), but I still can't find what is "broken". I run Onyx for my iMac OS X 10.11.5 and repaired permissions and clean the cache and all the rest she is doing to "solve" problems. But the problem persisted.

Is there a preference file corrupted somewhere (scan option is no longer on the current version of the Onyx for a reason any)?

I still have a network setting wrong somewhere I need to go back to the system is correct value?

I finally found my VPN problem.

There is a 'racoon' file that is generated when I connect to the VPN to my work site.

I have created a modified version of this file so that my connection does not expire in 3600 seconds (changed in 24 hours).

Apparently, there are some slightly different settings (such as certain IP addresses other than VPN IP of my work) in this file under our new ISP Bell from the former FAI Rogers.

And if I connect to the WiFi Hotspot from my BlackBerry, it does not once again because these settings in the file are different again. I must return the file generated instead of my modified file.
