Unexplained change in size of the Print Screen saved image

Is not a computer geek, I'm sometimes thrown when my laptop is suddenly something differently when I have not intentionally "asked".

The last thing that has happened is a real nuisance and I would be very grateful if a brilliant person could put me right.

I keep a daily record of the changes to the e-important information by using print screen and save it to a file. normally, this image is saved as a certain size (pixels x 768 1366 pixels) that fits with my view of deterioration. About two weeks ago the same procedure suddenly gave place to an image SMALLER, but with MORE (?) pixels (1366 x 918) without consciously doing me something different. Can someone tell me how to get back to where I was before? It does not help if I increase the Zoom level I print screen; This only translates a picture cutting the edges of what I want to see.

Hope I have explained this in an understandable way.

Alright.  Right after you click on paste, click on crop.  This will ensure the area of the image exactly matches copied dimensions and will be the size of the exact screen of 1366 x 768 pixels.

    Hi supperman.

I have a problem with the screen capture. When I take a screenshot by pressing the print SCREEN key on my keyboard, I can't get a screen shot in small size, in a Word document.

someone knows the reason for this? How can I get a screenshot in a normal size. Thank you very much.

    Hi tony.wang,

If you copy the screenshot in a Word file, it will be the default page of the word file size. It will be in a smaller size to fit into the Word file.

However, if you want to open the full-size screen capture, you can use Microsoft Paint on Windows application.

In the days of DOS, the print screen button to print the screen. But
in all versions of Windows, it works differently and the name of
the key is now an anachronism. The key is not to print the screen.
PrtScrn captures the entire screen and Alt-PrtScrn captures activate

Either a capture of the image in the Windows Clipboard. Once it is in

This ability to manipulate the image in a program before printing

  • duplex unit is no longer an option in the print screen - hp officejet pro 8100

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8100 that came with a duplexer. Until today, the duplexer has worked. Technically, I don't know that it does not work. But when I open the print screen in open office, adobe or any other program, it is no longer gives me the option to print double-sided. I have no idea what to do and there are no tutorials that explain how to fix this. Any help is appreciated.

Discovered after trying to reinstall the printer software that because my updated OS updated to 8.1 of Windows 7, my printer is no longer compatible with my computer. Is - this ridiculous or what? I have messaged HP, so I have no guarantee so I don't know that they will refuse any product support. It's okay, if need be I will take my business elsewhere. I would not have to pay for support on a product that they have outdated on purpose. Companies used to be a quality product. Oh how times have changed. It is an expensive paper weight.

@KKissmann, welcome to the community of HP

I read your post and I would try to help. Your Officejet Pro 8100 is compatible with Windows 8.1, so we should be able to get through this problem. Maybe you've tried running the installation from the CD, which is perhaps not a Windows 8.1 driver loaded, what can happen and you need to download the driver online instead. We will eventually get there

Please click here to access the full functionality of driver and software for Windows 8.1:

Driver and complete software of HP Officejet Pro features

Once the download is complete, run through the installation until it is completely finished. Subsequently, test print and check if you have the option to print double-sided.

Let me know if you encounter any problems!

  • How to use the Print Screen function?

I've seen various descriptions of how to use the print screen function.

It would be nice to actually tell one that works.  None have worked for me.

[Fn] and Prt SCr does not work.

CTRL and Prt SCr does not work.

CTRL, Alt, and Prt SCr does not work.

[Fn], Ctrl and Prt SCr does not work.

If anyone knows the correct method to activate the screen capture function which would be a good thing.

From the looks of things, HP has a big problem with this function.

Here's a microsoft articleon the use of the screenshot function.

    This should answer your questions.

    Thanks for taking a peek.

  • How to find the print screen prints.

I know how to do screen printing, but where can I find plans? I need to send one to a software support technician.

    Thank you!

When you press the print screen button, the screenshots are not saved anywhere, but are copied to the Clipboard.

You must go to a photo app as (even paint will do), then 'paste' (ctrl + v) the contents of the Clipboard.

You can also use a screen capture tool, like the App "Extract tool" built in Windows 7 (and maybe 8, idk)

  • I have a HP Photosmart C8180 printer on the printer screen it displays C2FF8575.

I have a HP Photosmart C8180 printer.  On the printer screen, it displays C2FF8575.  It won't turn off, unless I unplug islet that my Undo button keeps flashing. What does all this mean?

The code of C2FF8575 refers to a fatal mistake in the firmware of the printer. The only thing you can do when this error is a hard reset. I will include the instructions below. If this does not work, you will need to replace the printer. If you are still in warranty, HP can replace the printer without cost to you. I'll link the information to get in touch with them below. The link takes you to a form to fill out. Once you fill it and she is treated, it will give you the printers warranty information, a file number and the phone number to call.

HP Technical Support call case form:
    http://goo.GL/w7Hgh

    To do a hard reset:
    1. make sure that the printer is turned on.
    2. pull on the power cord from the printer.
    3. pull out the power cord from the wall.
    4. wait for 30 seconds.
    5. plug in the printer and turn it on.

  • Where can I find the Print Screen or tool captures Windows XP?

I'm in an online class.  The subpoena calls for us to use the Print Screen or tool captures Windows 7.  My computer is Windows XP.  Where can I find these tools in Windows XP?

XP is not a cutting tool. You will need to use the print screen button with MS Paint which is a real PITA bread. I suggest you download one of these freeware tools and make life more simple.

I have a aspire one D255E-notebook.  How to use the print screen key?  I tried and it does nothing.

    Hello tuckersmom

The print screen button, it's allowing you to display photos from your computer.  For example, if there is page that won't load properly, and whether you want to send an image of a person, press the print screen key, then open a graphics such as Paint or Paint Shop Pro program and right-click with your mouse to "stick" the image in. " Alternatively, you can choose to paste in the drop down menu of your graphics software.

What to backup on your computer, and you can attach it to an email.

  • How can I get the "Print screen" key to work? No answer, does nothing.

Tried ALT-IMPR. SHIFT-PRINT SCREEN, CTRL-print SCREEN. SCREEN, MS LOGO - PRINT SCREEN. Nothing happens. This has been the case with all versions of windows and all the computers I've owned. I must be missing something.

Funny how not book them a computer I mention this button.

The Print Screen (only or ALT + PRTSCR) button does not actually print.  What it does is copy the screen to the Clipboard.  Then, you paste in a graphical application (paint, which comes with XP, works) and print from the graphical application.

You can also use IrfanView, an application that, among other things, free viewing of files screen captures and prints them out then.

  • I want to use the print SCREEN key, but does not work.

Using Vista, I want to activate my key on my keyboard screenshot to capture what I have on my screen at the same time.  When I press it, nothing happens.  Is there something that I need to program to operate?

You must stick somewhere after you press the button.

    http://www.SeoConsultants.com/Windows/print-screen/

Often abbreviated Prt Scr, print screen key is a useful key supported by most of the PC. On the BACK, by pressing the print screen key causes the computer to send some images and text are currently on the screen to the printer. Some graphics programs and Windows, use the print screen button to get screenshots.

Now, how to see the screenshots or maybe even send them to someone? The fastest and most effective method is to have a practical graphic editing program. If this isn't an option, you can open your favorite word processing program and create a new document. Place your cursorat the beginning of the document, or wherever you want the screenshot to appear.

Using your keyboard, press Ctrl + V which will Paste the screenshot in your open document

  • The printer screen is hungup with updates of product on the screen

HP ENVY 5530 - use the printer without fail since 07/29/14. Noticed, yesterday, the printer screen shows: 'Check' product updates and it hangs just at this moment. This post was on the screen of the printer for about 24 hours now. I can always print test pages and documents of other software. But I would like to get the printer to check the updates successfully.

Resolutions or suggestions for this problem?

    Solved my problem.

    What I did:

uninstalled all the software associated with the envy of 5530

unplugged the power cord from the wall and printer

disconnect the USB cable from the printer

downloaded the latest version of the software for the 5530 like on HP site

    installation of the software

Connect the power cord to the wall outlet and the printer

THIS PART IS IMPORTANT > lifted the top of the printer to expose the inside of the printer where the ink cartridges. This stage caused the error message to delete the printer.

Then I plugged in the USB cable to the printer and the PC and the printer took over the installation of the software and drivers.

Now the printer is in working condition.

NOTE: After it was over. I saw on the screen of the printer that a product update has been active and completed successfully.

    HOPE THIS HELPS.
