  Thank you very much! It is very easy to find. I also discovered that just by clicking you will find a lot of information - for instance if you right click on to the bottom in the left corner, where the Start button should be, a menu will appear with Control Panel, search, run and all sorts of things. If you right-click on any web page a menu will appear, much like with a print on file menu, save as, send to and more. If you right-click on the search bar (top) charms button all programs on your computer will display. Maybe Windows 8 is not if badly but sometimes I can't find an arrow to the left or even the task bar or the address bar and it's still boring. I also hope that the Start button was left where it has been for twenty years with all programs, etc. Well, I guess that's what they call progress...   This weekend I finally had a chance to reload the software of the printer on my laptop. I am happy to say that so far, everything seems to be fine. I was able to scan several times in a row from my laptop running Windows 10 House, and then with my desktop computer running Windows 7 Professional. Don't know if it has made all the difference, but during the installation of the printer and driver on window machine 10, I had both machines Windows 7 mode 'sleep'.

  Whatever the reason, I thank you all for your help.

  I tried to download the drivers for my HP LaserJet P1006 on a new computer (ASUS Q500A).

  I made a mistake and clicked on the drivers for Windows 7, 64-bit. I tried (many times) uninstall the software of Windows 7 which has been downloaded, but I succumbed this doing. (I followed the instructions provided by the computer on how to uninstall).

  Three questions:

  (1) if I buy a new HP printer wireless which is taken care of by Windows 8 and install the drivers, newest software will replace the software that I downloaded by mistake?

  (2) if the most recent HP software will not, replace what should I do to uninstall this program?

  (3) is it necessary remove the incorrect software before new software can be loaded?

  To uninstall the software, click Start and click on run in execution type folder window and click OK. This will open the Temp folder, in the eyes of temporary folder for the folder that starts with open 7Z file 7Z and then open the Utils folder and then open the CCC folder and double click on Uninstall_L4.bat and this will start the uninstallation process. Once this completed, please restart the computer and check.

  InkBall is a game that is integrated with the windows vista operating system.
  There are two ways you can remove it manually

  (1) i) go to windows features (programs and feature--> select enable the windows feature disable)
  (II) develop the games and uncheck inkball

  If you want to uninstall programs in Windows XP, go to control panel, add/remove programs, find the program you want to uninstall, then highlight and click on uninstall.

  If you feel that you still have the programs uninstalled in the registry entries, go to a command prompt. Then type regedit. Do a find for the name of the program and then delete the keys as your find.

  On the HP site only a few drivers are available; Chipset are missing for example and many others (for W7).

  If I choose W8, drivers seem incompatible with W7.

  Where can I get it? Can buy this PC or will better choose another?

  Your answer is exactly was I think for the same reason that other people on this forum are little upset regarding HP, lack of pilots.

  It is not easy to understand it as the "Builder" in the motherboard. Possible scan of course is the net serching code of the provider, but is not as professional as HP should do!

  As to describe my PC should work on the development environment of software and also as support for our client and is for non-professional use a laptop 'perhaps' after a while because some drivers are not available.

  Probably isn't a fault of HP (not completely out) but Microsoft, who has two branch: W7 in industrial and W8/W8.1 for funny.

  Side of HP, there is driver for Nvidia and not for a chipset; This big deal.

  Very bad. Probably, this PC is more for fun home and now I'm sure to move to the other constructor.

  The real appeal was the 12 GB of ram; like manna for virtual machines.

  You would load drivers in Windows XP the same as you used for Windows XP virtual machine.  Start the virtual machine, then follow the instructions of the manufacturer for the loading of drivers.

  Be aware that these drivers work that from within the virtual machine, they will not do your camera is working in Windows Vista 64-bit.
