• Visual Studio community 2013: how license can be avoided to expire?

  Two days ago, I got Visual Studio community 2013 in order to study c# coding. It has been downloaded and installed by running a small program called vs_community.exe that has been downloaded from the Microsoft web page that offers the free edition. The title is on the IDE is "blend to Visual Studio 2013". By clicking on the "All mix" selection in the window of 'Help' menu, the following item appears:

  

  As you can see, the license will expire in 28 days, even though it's supposed to be a free edition. I searched very carefully in Microsoft Community and on Google to try to find a way to avoid the expiration of the license, particularly because this program is a very large download. I found a few answers to similar questions by others, but the responses have been largely unnecessary. A few responses indicated that the free editions in the past required registration to avoid expiration. However, this record was made of course by clicking on an entry in the 'Help' option, and there is no option in 'Help' or anywhere else in the version that I downloaded, AFAIK. Another response indicated to 'connect', but there is no detail on the place where or how "connect". Yet another response stated that you could "change date", but with no details on what that meant. A Microsoft page, it appeared that a registration option could be offered during the download, but I didn't see no this option while downloading. If anyone has specific instructions, step by step on how to apply, or otherwise avoid the expiration of this apparently free product, I would be very grateful. More information, my OS is Windows 7 with 6 GB of RAM and a processor AMD A6.

  I work in a small team in a relatively large (> 1000) company employed at Headquarters, more in stores.
  Am I allowed to develop an application using the visual studio community that benefits just from my team? It won't make money, it will be used only for team management.

• Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2013 for windows contains errors trying to repair or uninstall!

  I made a thread on Stack Overflow, but I don't have real solutions because I have a peculiar problem which is not as widespread and I need more experienced people who know a lot about windows and microsoft products to help me with this problem

  First of all, I had installed visual studio express 2013 very well at a time given. But then when I start my computer my hard drive no power because I add a hard drive (I build my own computers), and therefore windows assigned drive (D :) to a new hard drive. I have fixed everything after that and I didn't see any immediate problems. WAIT for visual studio 2013 express. I have screenshots for the mistakes, that's for me.

  You must use a version ODP.NET 11.2 or earlier if you want to connect to a 10.1 DB server. Unfortunately, to do this, you cannot use VS 2013, which only works with ODT 12 c.

  Your options are to upgrade your version of DB or downgrade your version of VS.

  Move this thread to the ODT forum in case there are additional suggestions there.

  FixIt gave no results.

  But I solved the problem by using the Sun Samson - moderator MSFTsuggestion:
  I downloaded the ISO file and I ran the Installer installation by choosing the option to uninstall
  and it worked!

• Visual Studio community 2015 fails to update to the latest Version

  I had this problem for awhile now. My OS is Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview (1511, build 10586.36). I have Visual Studio installed 2015 community.

  When open the menu Extensions and updates, I see two product updates - Application Insight Tools for Visual Studio and Visual Studio 2015 update 1. I tried to install them for several weeks without success. What is happening is that the installation program starts, I see several options of what it must be installed, select what I need and then configure immediately goes to Visual Studio preparation and after one minute it says all updates have been installed. When you open Visual Studio, however, there is no change.

  When you try to update the previews of the Application, the installation will start immediately and trying to update Visual Studio a .exe is downloaded beforehand. Both methods produce the same result. I tried to check the different boxes in the configuration, including checking them, no difference at all.

  An internet search gave no results, so it seems that very few people, if any, to deal with this problem, so I'm not sure how to fix it. Any help is welcome.

• How to uninstall visual studio 2012 (free trial version) to my windows 7?

  I would like to uninstall the trial version of visual studio ultimate 2012 in order to install visual studio 2010 on my windows 7 PC. I tried an uninstall program on msdn.com but could not find. I don't want to use programs and features in Control Panel to remove this product, because there are several entries and I don't know which ones to delete and in what order.   You must use the features & programs and select Visual Studio 2012, there are probably several components listed for Visual Studio, they should all have the same date of installation

  Make sure that it has been deleted, not only in the folder preset\plugins of Photoshop, but in your user folder. I don't know what it is for Mac, but it would be under your username\appdata\roaming\adobe\plugins. This folder may be hidden, so you will need to turn on view hidden folders in Explorer.
