If you had installed drivers of the network up to date maps, remove this update. It worked for me.
Check the steps to remove the software update:
· Go to the Control Panel and open Windows Update.
· On the left side, at the bottom of the window, click the installed updates link.
· In the next window, scroll down and select the update of the NIC has installed recently.
· At the top of the window, click the Uninstall button.

Cannot share Internet on Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter
Hello;
I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I used to share Internet to my laptop via a virtual WiFi router with the following command.netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid = MySSID key = My8DigitKeynetsh wlan start hostednetwork
then share the connection from the control panel > network and Internet > network connections > right button connected Modem > Internet sharing connected the modem to connect to the network wireless 2 (Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter)For somedays, it worked well. But now it is not. Now, it starts the virtual router and I can connect my device (phone), but can not browse the internet from the phone. In my short experience using hostednetwork wireless you need not to use ICS, which I believe you are trying to use. Just Setup and start hostednetwork function manually or with a third party app such as Connectify and Virtual Router and connect your wireless device, IE. iPhone or iPod Touch, or whatever.

I upgraded my Windows 7 to Windows 8 Pro and everything worked fine, I was able to host a wifi network using the command "netsh wlan. I have a htc x, it successfully connected to the wireless network on my laptop via the netsh tha.
But earlier, I have no idea of what happened but no device (for example, my cellphone) is able to connect to the wifi/hostednetwork hosted on my laptop. He sees the connection, but still hung on authentication / "obtain an ip address" phase and sometimes loops around that. While this same cell phone is able to connect to wifi hosted on the laptop from my friend, via the same netsh command, also it connects fine to routers wireless etc.
I noticed that in my network connections section, "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" has disappeared. I tried to run the command
"netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = command not allow."
and then
"command netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow."
but nothing is done, the virtual wifi adapter doesn't seem to be back. I've updated my drivers for wireless card that is "Intel Centrino Wireless - N 1030 BGN". But still no change, map of miniport does not return. Then I ran the cmd command "sfc/scannow", in the hope that maybe some file is corrupted and he could get fixed, but even after checking and restarting, it was still no effect on wifi.
So, basically, that is what is happening, I run the command
"netsh wlan set hostednetwork ssid = keyUsage htc = key command persist = mode abcdefgh = enable".
and it will
"Hosted network mode has been set to allow.
The SSID of the network hosted has been changed successfully.
The user key hosted network password has been changed successfully. »Then I run
"netsh wlan start hostednetwork.
and it will
"The hosted network began.
But in my network connections section, "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter" does not appear, instead when the connection is started, "Microsoft hosted virtual network adapter" appears and disappears when the hostednetwork is stopped. But nevertheless, no device is able to connect to this hostednetwork, stuck on authentication / phase "obtain an ip address", as a DHCP server is missing or something.
Kindly, help me out I searched on internet a solution for almost 2 days now, but nothing helped.
Abdoulaye.

TWO connections Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter?
Hello!
Recently bought a LG TV and try to mirror the screen by WiDi, but after a week of cracking my head over this, it does not work.
In troubleshooting I stumbled upon the fact that I have TWO connections Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport adapt, even if I uninstall a via Device Manager, itll reinstall once the computer is restarted. All say 'Not connected' as well, and I feel that the reasons for which I can't do the link of WiDi with the TV resides in the above.
Should I have two connections, and if not how can I solve this problem? And secondly why they both say not connected?
Your help is greatly appreciated because there is too little information about this online specifically to try to get that it connects to a TV and it's so frustrating!
Thank you!
Go to the Intel site and install the latest version of the WiDi software and drivers. Are you sure that the TV is capable of WiDi? Or what adapter are you using? I know not how this technology has improved over the past 2 years or so but if you want to watch movies with this you can be disappointed, when I ran across an adapter Push2TV a few years back I found the video choppy, perfect for office presentations but not very good for movies from my laptop to the TV streaming I abandoned the idea and am instead of using a device with built in NET applications.

Hi KrystalOMGURAT,
Please see the following information about uninstalling Virtual WiFi, from the following link:

VirtualWiFi uninstall
Q: why I can't uninstall VirtualWiFi? The uninstall command seems to hang.
A: This happens if the VirtualWiFi service is not running. To start the service, either run "net start VirtualWiFiService", OR "VirtualWiFiSvc.exe - start'." " VirtualWiFi Service is not installed, could you install using 'VirtualWiFiSvc.exe - install'. "Q: is there a manual way to uninstall VirtualWiFi?
A: Yes. Click Start-> Control Panel->-> wireless connection, network connections, right click and and go to properties. Click the VirtualWiFi Miniport driver and click on uninstall. Note that the VirtualWiFi Service must be run at this time. Once the driver is uninstalled, you must remove the service by running ""net stop VirtualWiFiService '', followed of "VirtualWiFiSvc.exe - remove". "Q: I can't uninstall VirtualWiFi. Nothing seems to work. Is there a brute force method?
A: Yes. Go to the Windows registry by using start-> Run-> 'regedit '. Note that modify you the registry at your own risk. It is always best to save a copy of the registry before you edit. The registry, search for all entries having VirtualWiFi, and delete them. This is best done in safe mode. Also run 'VirtualWiFiSvc.exe - remove' to remove the service. We have provided an easier way to remove these registry entries. Follow these steps: (i) the term "VirtualWiFi uninstall" (ii) reboot your machine (iii) Run "RegDelete. Note that you need to remove a single entry manually, who is invited by RegDelete. (iv) reset, and you're all set! However, please use RegDelete carefully. Carefully check the entries which RegDelete invites! It should not belong to another program and correspond to the README.txt file in the directory of RegEdit under Sources.I hope this helps!
