Universal adapter for laptop

Dear members,
Today, I bought a universal adapter for my toshiba tecra a4. But I saw the car gives 19 volts adapter and I have my computer laptop needs 15 or 16 volts. Can I use the adapter or is there a possibility that I destroy my laptop?

I hope you can give me an answer to my problem.
Thank you!

Hello

Unfortunately I didn't find out who is compatible with your device, but there are two universal adapters (15 to 19 volts). In my opinion, you must use this with 15 volts.

I have many times connected different adapters on my Tecra and nothing was damaged, but in my opinion, you should be careful about this. If there is any attempt of the possibility of exchanging it with 15 volt one. On this path, that you'll be sure that nothing goes wrong.

I really put t know how sensitive electronic power supply power is.

    Hello

The value of the voltage V is very important.
You cannot use a 15V AC adapter if your original adapter 19V.

A ampere value may be a little different, but not too low.

However, the use of non-original parts is always a bit risky, and in my opinion, you can buy a compatible adapter and original for your laptop model. Usually the original adapter should provide a part number that you could use to google for some online resellers providing this part

  • Support universal adapter for M55 8808

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M55 8808 desktop computer, and its hard drive died about two months ago. Fortunately, I had access to an old HP laptop that has had a few other parts that turned bad, but still had a good hard drive. The problem is that the laptop drive is a disk 3.5 "inches, while the drive that has bad shot was a 5.25 drive", so I need an adapter. Available online for my PC parts manual lists the 'universal support adapter 5.25 to 3.5 inch (all models)' FRU # 32 p 4743 for this purpose. However, this part seems to be very rare. I only saw it for sale online at one or two places that I've never heard of for $30 or more, which is more that I want to pay for it.

Does anyone know of a place where this part can be obtained from an affordable way or another party that might work? I tried to get a set of universal mounting products CMS of Staples, but had to return because it wouldn't fit.

    Thank you.

I think what you need is a 2.5 "to 3.5" adapter. "Portable hard drives are usually 2.5", while the office disks are generally 3.5. Optical drives are 5.25 ".

There are many options, see these HERE and HERE

  • Replace Smart AC adapter for laptop HP 17-E054CA

I have a new HP17-EO54CA and it came with a Smart AC adapter. I keep getting messages that I should buy an adapter of sector output higher than it may be necessary for some applications.

I don't know how to do this. I googled as many combinations I could think and I'm pretty good at finding things on the web, but I can't find how to replace this adapter with a higher output level one.

    Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help.

The 120W is out of stock at the moment. Should be available later.

BTW - the cord is interchangeable on the power adapters. One of my friends is 3 ft and I just swapped out with the longest of my laptop which is in a place not need longer cable.

  • COMPATIBLE WIFI ADAPTER FOR laptop HP ENVY 17-j057cl Leap Motion SE

Greetings! Recently, I bought the laptop the subject, but problems of wireless connectivity to the apartment complex where I live. Given that the card in the laptop (Intel Centrino Wireless N2230) is the only band at 2.4 gHz and I am faced with a multitude of other users, connectivity suffers greatly. Channel change has nothing as other users are evenly distributed between the channels. The only salvation that I might have is to be able to jump to 5 GHz. As my current card can not read the 5 GHz, I wonder if I can replace the card with Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3160. If I am not mistaken, this module is compatible with my laptop according to the maintenance and Service of Guide. If my assumption is wrong, what are my options so that I can enjoy (hopefully) connection of 5 GHz? I use a double router broadband Linksys E4200.

    Hello

I would recommend 6235 Intel or 7260AC instead of the 3160. These chips are not listed in the manual, but should work on the laptop as the allow list is no longer there.

  • Adapter for laptop with different rated voltage

    Dear community,

I had been using an old laptop Compaq Presario V3000. Now the laptop adapter went wrong past and need to replace the same.

So I went to a store near HP who sold me an adapter, but after his return and comparing with the original adapter, I found had a different voltage than the original rating. I confronted the HP Store with the facts, I was told that the adapter with the old notation are not more available and new adapter will be perfectly well that both cards have the same nominal power.

The side of the cards original and news are as follows:

    Adapter supplied originally with laptop: 18.5V - 3. 5A / 65W

Sides of new card is now provided by HP Store: 19.5V - 3.33 A / 65W

Please suggest if I can use the new adapter or not and if not, then what should I do?

    Thanks and greetings

    Hello

  • USB wireless adapter for computer laptop problem

    Hello:

The HP laptop with XP get "Low" signal every time I'm in the other room that is not too much longer off the router, about 60 to 70 feet away from him.  Then, yesterday, I got USB Netgear adapter in the hope of trying to get more signal.  Because, says a guy in the store of the computer installation USB adapter is 'boost' to get decent and more signals.

When I installed the Netgear adapter for the laptop, there is no signal at all and to appear the following message appears in the middle of the screen.

NETGEAR 111v3 Smart Wizard, WEP Passphrase to create WG and the key manually

    My question is;

How to install the USB Netgear adapter for laptop?

Thank you for your help in advance.

    Hello

The general idea that a USB adapter is a bit a booster dose is false. I'm not sure that you will get the USB Ant thing you don't get the laptop.

According to the physical environment, 60 to 70 domestic feet with walls is probably beyond the capacity of the wireless router.

As for your specific question, it seems that USB is correctly installed but must adjust its password security to your current wireless network.
