  I don't know what all this means that the computer has no idea what it is.  Connected to the computer: (all are "working properly")

  How will I know what I have to do.  The last installation has the printer.  The messages came after that, but I don't know if it's a coincidence.  The printer works (it's quite loud!).

  After you have reinstalled a fresh copy of windows XP on a PC there is a Pavilion a1310n desktop missing driver, presenting himself as "Unknown device" in Device Manager. I tried all the drivers on the HP Support page for this model, but none seems not to work. Someone has an idea of what it could be? (Note: this Pc has four ports of smart card on the front.)

  I have a Western Digital external hard drive, 1 TB, I installed a PCI 2.0 card when I couldn't device works.  This has resolved nothing.  When I attach the hard drive, it does appear a message that says that the device is unknown.  I don't know how to fix the problem manually.  I contacted western digital, but be plug-and-play they provide drivers for their products and have referred me to your website.  Please help, its nothing more than an expensive paper weight at this point.

  I suggest you try the following steps:
   
  Step 1: Find the error code in Device Manager

  1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  2. in Device Manager, look for the USB device, and then double-click the device name.

  3. under the gaze of general tab for the status of the device for any error code indicated.

  Step 2: Run the fixit provided in the link below.

  Step 3:  Unplug the power and USB (universal serial bus), wait for a while and connect the external hard drive to another USB port and check.
  Also, connect the external hard drive on another computer and test if it works fine.

  If the problem persists,

  Step 4: Replace the USB controllers.

  First of all, please disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:

  1. click on 'Start', type device manager in the search bar and press "Enter." If necessary, click on continue.

  2. in Device Manager, double-click to expand the "USB Bus controllers", right-click on the "host controller", click "Uninstall" and click "OK".

  3. Repeat step 2 to uninstall all items under 'USB Bus controllers'.
   
  Then, restart your computer and windows vista will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

  If the problem persists, please contact western digital for assistance.

  Hello. I'm new in the world of BB and I just go this great gift that I am slowing learning how to use.  I prowled around for awhile and now it's my turn to ask a silly question.

  On my BB Curve 8330, I have a picture of my son on the front screen. I don't know what a theme, but I have 5 icons at the bottom of the screen.

  I'm having a hard time with my "message" folder and my mail folder electronic ***@comcast.net.

  the problem is, my emails are sent to both folders.  my email (the world with the envelope) and message (mailbox) file. I'm just a pain to remove all of the two places.  I read here in one of the forums how you could also do your separate sms/mms, I did. but then I got three folders.  So in my folder of message it shows me, my email and my calls missed.

  Is it possible that I can stop my e-mail to go to both places?

  I need, step by step... I'm not ignorant, but my book was missing from the BB when it was purchased, so I'm waiting on a new instruction book which should be here tomorrow.  I think I'm not too bad, thank you to all of you on this forum!

  Messages are stored on your device the volume you want.

  Go to the messages main folder, press menu, options, General options and scroll to the bottom to keep the Messages, you can change the duration between 15 days to Forever.

• Victim of theft of copyright message need help

  I have a pc with windows XP Professional that has been pre-installed by the company, that I bought.  This pc had a hard drive failure and so I bought a new hard drive for it but could not get the recovery CD to work because it was not bootable.  I bought a copy of Windows XP Professional from a professional seller on ebay who said that they were authorized distributors.  The software installed ok, but when I went online to save it with the supplied key I got a message saying that I had been victim of theft of copyright and my pc locked up.  I reformatted the hard drive and then deliver the software and tried my old original key of the original pre-installed version to see if it works, but it works now.  I informed the ebay of the situation that this person is clearly not an authorized dealer.
  I hope that someone can help me because I have a pc that I can't use it with a new hard drive: o)

  Who is your hosting provider?

  Clearly your webhost changes the files that are served. If you go to http://entertainment-isle.com/phone (or http://entertainment-isle.com/tablet) in a browser desktop all the files of the phone (or tablet site files) site are well served and the site works properly. However, if you go to the same URL using a mobile device files that are served are different. I suspect that your webhost think they do you a favor, and they have a code side server that modifies the files being served when they go to a mobile device, with result a site broken. Chances are it is something you, or they, can turn off to your site.

  If you provide the name of your hosting provider, we are able to collect information on their website how (and why) they want to change the files that are served and how to disable this "feature".

  I see that usb devices do not work on xp. I'll help you with this problem.

  1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

  2. what security software is installed on the computer?

  3. have you made changes on the computer recently?

  4 is the issue limited to these usb devices?

  Method 1:

  Run the fixit from Microsoft Fixit article and if that helps.
