Hello:

Without knowing the hardware ID...

If I had to guess, this would be it.

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-104656-1&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=4063&Product=5293868&sw_lang=

or this one...

http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-104710-1&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=4063&Product=5293868&sw_lang=

That's only 2 devices reporting as PCI devices in your laptop.

Here is a link on how to find an ID of material for any future reference.

With a hardware ID, the guesswork is eliminated.

I would really appreciate the help on this one.

I try to get Win XP running on my laptop Toshiba L650-1PK.

I have two unknown PCI devices and I'm not sure which driver they refer to. Research on pcidatabase.com seems to offer litte help as well. That's why I wonder if there might be someone who would be able to point me in the right direction.

The device ID are as follows.

    PCI device
    PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_AA68 & SUBSYS_FD121179 & REV_00\4 & 2A 7 D5098 & 0 & 0108

    PCI device
    PCI\VEN_8086 & DEV_3B56 & SUBSYS_FF1E1179 & REV_05\3 & 115 83659 & 0 & D8

I have an idea that they could relate to my audio driver but remains uncertain.
If yes which manufacturer, ATI or Conexant.

However when I try and run the update driver audio drivers available to these devices, that he told me that a driver is found on both.

    With our thanks

    Dave

I agree with Akuma. You must install SP3 and all the other patches.
It of needed to get the support for HD audio.

As mentioned; the VEN ID 1002 means ATI
It seems to be a missing graphics driver.

B 3, 56 FRI ID means Intel. The laptop was equipped with Chipset Mobile Intel HM55 Express so possibly that the chipset driver is necessary. On the other hand it could be also linked to audio HD if you didn't install the SP3 in the past.

    Hello

On this path, it is not easy to tell which device needs to be installed. I found an interesting paper on the Toshiba (knowledge base) page. Check it on http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB57014E000QR01.htm

Maybe it will help you identify the unknown device.

    Hello:

This device is the card reader that needs a driver.

DL and install the driver first on the list on the link below...

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=15&PFID=25&level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false

The BOM indicates your model has the Intel Centrino 2230 wireless card.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver for this card directly from Intel.

You want that element of fourth on the list (64-bit only driver).

  • HP laptop - 17-p000na AMD R4: unknown PCI device

Hello all, first time on this forum...

I recently bought a HP 17 laptop p000na with AMD R4, it came with Windows 8.1 64-bit installed.

I do not earn 8.1 and in all cases, some specialized software that I use is better coimpatible with Win7 32 bit, some older software works better on XP 32-bit, some same needs BACK... I therefore immediately has got rid of 8.1, partitioned the drive and installed Win7 64 bit, Win7 32 bit and XP 32-bit SP3.  I got a slow start installing these operating systems, but was eventually successful, it!

I managaed to encourage drivers to just about everything in the Device Manager in the two Win7 32 bit and Win7 64 bit, a combination of AMD support site, HP, support from Realtek site support site. etc... But I find myself with an unknown PCI device in Device Manager.

I hope someone can shed some light on what may be the PCI device and where can I download a driver for it.

I still have to get arouhd to sort the XP drivers - I might wonder about this later!

    Thanks for reading,

    Simon

    Hi, Simon:

If this is the label of the device, you must first driver on the list from the link below...

  • Fusion 6 and unknown PCI device

    Hello

I've upgraded fusion 5 to the new version, I upgrade vmware tools on my XP SP3 virtual machine but after the restart as it left this unknown PCI device, I tried searching Google for information but nothing to do, please help me!

    Thank you

If the Virtual Machine's hard drive one or CD/DVD were defined to SATA, then the unknown PCI device is because Windows XP does not support VMware Virtual SATA ATA Device drive.  Only some operating systems that contain drivers for SATA AHCI / will be able to access the VMware Virtual SATA disk ATA Device.

This string of material, it looks like the Realtek Cardreader:

  • CanoScan 5600F Scanner appears as unknown in Device Manager

I have a new CanoScan 5600F scanner which appears as unknown in Device Manager. I downloaded and installed the latest driver (several times) from Canon.

    • I tried the scanner on two PC running XP Home - a new Compaq Presario and a new Barebone VisonMan. It does not work on either.
    • I also tried the Epson scanners on both machines, and they don't work either.
    • However, when I run the Compaq Presario with Vista (which came with it), works to scan Canon. Problem is, I don't use Vista (or Win7) and I have no intention of.

This seems to indicate that it is a problem with XP Home, do not recognize the scanner. I did not have this problem with any other USB device. Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

2 and what I need to install drivers for my laptop AMD A76M FCH mother/chipset card? I could not find driver for it, then maybe it is pre-installed with Windows 8.1?

    Help, please! Thank you!

    By the way: why it

    You are the very welcome.

If you did not have a SMBus controller device listed in Device Manager in the category other devices, there is no need to install the chipset drivers amd that they would have been included in the database of the W8.1 driver if there is no listed SMBus Controller device after install W8.1.

  • HP mini 110-3131 dx: unknown PCI device

    Hey everybody,

I have trouble finding the suitable driver for my hp mini 110-3131 dx. I bought it 2nd hand, did a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate. Everything seems fine, except when I checked on Device Manager and discovered that there is a yellow question mark on a PCI Device in the section "other devices." I did all the possible ways to fix it including 'update driver or uninstall' and things like that, but anything will do. I checked for its properties and discovered that the manufacturer is unknown, making it difficult for me to search for the correct driver. Let me say that there is nothing wrong with my laptop (that is, no sound, cannot connect to the internet) made me inspect the Device Manager, I just wanted to check if all goes well.

I would appreciate greatly any help that you could give me. It was nights since I started Googling for the right driver and always go home empty-handed.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    The most likely culprits are:

Realtek card reader driver.          (If it is not displayed in Device Manager)

HP Quick Launch software.           (If it is not listed in programs and features)

If she is not of the above, go into Device Manager, right click on the device problem and select Properties.  Click on the Details tab, choose hardware ID in the drop-down list and post back with the details presented in the title of the value.

    Kind regards

    Hi all

I've already installed Windows 8.1 Pro x 64 and on Device Manager, I always 2 missing drivers, they are PCI Device and unknown device?

Please see attached a printscreeen. Any idea of what are the missing drivers?

    Thanks to you all

    Hello:

You need this driver for the PCI device...

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=7089928&swItemId=ob_134503_1&swEnvOid=4158

I gave you the driver for the unknown device when you W7 on the machine, so it's probably the same as.

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/detail?sp4ts.Oid=7089928&swItemId=ob_132986_1&swEnvOid=4158

If it's not this one (or you had two unknown devices at the same time and already install the driver 3D driveguard), then it's probably that one...
